From his opening statement to closing argument, Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger has not just made missteps, as the legacy media loves to call them, he has literally stepped in the muck, then keeps wading in up to his knees.
My colleagues Nick Arama and Jim Thompson are working attorneys, and just don’t play ones on TV. Along with our other contributors that have covered the trial of Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse, they have given us great analysis on just how badly Binger has screwed up an already weak case that should have never been brought to trial.

Typically someone goes into a situation with a certain amount of capital; the gambler’s stake, the firm’s initial investment, a fighter plane’s available energy. Those without enough capital of their own borrow it and politicians seeking office but lacking wide support or charisma issue promises to their donors in exchange for a loan of support.
Joe Biden’s balance sheet coming into office was highly leveraged. With only average charisma and without a notable record, the former VP, in order to obtain what he needed against Donald Trump, issued Green energy and social policy notes to the left that were not merely difficult but practically impossible to redeem. When these nonproductive policies

The Congressional Budget Office said it anticipates publishing a complete cost estimate for U.S. President Joe Biden's "Build Back Better" plan by Friday, Nov. 19.
The $1.75 trillion proposal aims to expand the social safety net in the United States and boost climate change policy. The estimate will be published on the CBO's website.
The CBO, a nonpartisan arm of Congress, is expected to provide revenue scores for the IRS and drug-pricing provisions, Democratic lawmakers have said.

A Texas Democrat switched his affiliation to the Republican Party over the party's left-leaning embrace of defunding the police policies and "chaos" on the southern border.
State Rep. Ryan Guillen announced in a Monday press conference that he would seek reelection to his south Texas seat as a Republican, saying the Democratic Party's far-left values are no longer in line with his own.
Specifically, Guillen cited his now-former party’s backing of defunding the police and the compounding crisis at the southern border under President Biden. "Friends, something is happening in South Texas, and many of us are waking up to the fact that the values of those in Washington

Panicked Democrats are deep into the blame game as rising inflation and plummeting polls have the White House — and its media enablers — shooting off in every direction.
CNN brought out the heavy artillery on Sunday, firing a barrage directly into the lap of alleged Vice President Kamala Harris, in the form of a nearly 5,000-word hit piece.
Harris has been on a roll lately, like a snowball gaining size and speed right into the political abyss.
The CNN report says that “key West Wing aides have largely thrown up their hands” at Harris and her inept staff because they’re “worn out

President Biden signed the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill into law at a ceremony on the White House lawn on Monday.
“This law is a blue-collar blueprint to rebuild America,” Biden said in a speech prior to the signing.
“Next year will be the first year in twenty years American infrastructure investment will grow faster than China’s,” Biden later remarked. “We’ll once again have the best roads, bridges, ports and airports over the next decade.”
The legislation allocates $550 billion in new spending over five years towards building and repairing roads, bridges, airports, and railways, as well as funds for electric vehicles and charging stations.

Beto O’Rourke is running for governor, challenging Republican Greg Abbott in a clash of two of Texas’ biggest politicians.
“I’m running to serve the people of Texas, and I want to make sure that we have a governor that serves everyone, helps to bring this state together to do the really big things before us and get past the small, divisive politics and policies of Greg Abbott,” O’Rourke said in an interview with The Texas Tribune. “It is time for change.”
The former El Paso congressman, 2018 U.S. Senate nominee and 2020 presidential contender said he was running for governor to improve public schools, health care and jobs in Texas.

The Trump Organization has reportedly reached an agreement to sell the rights to the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., for $375 million.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter, that CGI Merchant Group, an investment firm based in Miami, reached an agreement with the Trump Organization for a lease to the Trump hotel located on Pennsylvania Avenue.
CGI Merchant Group has also reportedly landed a deal with Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. to rebrand and remove the Trump name from the property. Once the deal is finalized, the property will be managed by Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria group, sources told the Journal.

A new Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll has some bad news for Joe Biden. In a hypothetical matchup between Trump and Biden in 2024, Trump is favored by eleven points. The real question should be whether or not either of the two men is going to run in 2024.
Both Joe Biden and Donald Trump have indicated they will run in 2024. Biden even told reporters in March during his first news conference that he plans to run for reelection but that was just two months into his term and what was he going to say

Kamala Harris’ vice presidency has not gotten off on the right foot, and the unrest surrounding her tenure continues. A new report is out that paints Harris and her staff as feeling isolated and undefended by the administration she serves in.
But the report also shares the view from the other side of the equation, with Biden staffers showing frustration and anger with how the Vice President conducts herself and her affairs.
The long knives are out, according to CNN. Worn out by what they see as entrenched dysfunction and lack of focus, key West Wing aides have largely thrown up their hands at Vice President Kamala Harris and her staff

The latest ABC News/Washington Post poll is out, and while it’s rarely been kind to the GOP in the past, things have flipped on their head over the last several months. Joe Biden is now at his lowest approval in the series, but that’s not even the worst news for Democrats.
Take a look at these generic ballot numbers. A GOP +10 environment isn’t just ripe for a red wave. It’s ripe for a red Tsunami the likes of which we haven’t seen in modern history for Republicans. You could be talking about a 60 seat pick-up when the House is currently almost evenly divided.
But while Republicans

Remember how last weekend, the conventional wisdom was that passing the infrastructure bill was going to help President Biden and the Democrats turn things around? Good times, good times.
This morning’s new poll from the Washington Post-ABC News demolishes that conventional wisdom into tiny pieces.
Majorities of Americans support President Biden’s $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package and a pending bill that would spend nearly $2 trillion on social programs and climate initiatives. Yet despite the backing for these measures, Biden’s approval rating has ticked down to a new low, driven largely by more negative views among Democrats and independents
