Most of the House GOP isn't lifting a finger to help Democrats out of their infrastructureMinority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s conference is largely taking his advice to sit back and let Democrats eat their own over President Joe Biden’s stalled domestic agenda. The cal jam, and with good reason. Just ask Rep. Randy Weber.
“They're probably going to put us back into power,” the conservative Texas Republican said with a loud laugh. “Thersaying: ‘When your enemy is trying to commit suicide,

If the Republicans were to win it all, they would find a way to blow it in very short order.

Democrap unity is all slaves under one whip. Witness their treatment of Sinema and Manchin, whom Dems consider to be uppity.

No one is very fond of the establishment Republicans so they shouldn't get overly optimistic.

The GOP should have been screaming for impeachment since last November. Our country is rudderless.

Unfortunately an upside for the GOP is not necessarily an upside for the American people. If history is a lesson, all a Congress run by the likes of McConnell and McCarthy means is the Uniparty has a different squad calling the plays, and country goes to pot a little more slowly. Without a leader like Reagan or Trump the GOP NEVER reverses creeping big government socialism. Even WITH such a leader they resist.

Considering that the rino pubbies are rather adept at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, they need to do a lot more than "relishes". How about get on your soap boxes and message away, guys and gals of the freedom caucus. And give us a strong glimpse of real leadership since the rinos can't. Then you can relish all you want.

What's the over/under on the eventual passage of a $3.5 TRILLION "infrastructure" bill under the GOPe/UNIPARTY? Mitch will always find a way to get "the best we could do." It's coming after four fallow years for the profiteers in the Trump years. They have expenses. Fixing elections ain't cheap!

In 2016 when President Trump was elected the republicans accomplished the perfect storm. With Eddie Munster, Ryan, as speaker, knives were drawn to backstab the President they managed to blow it all by midterms. No, I have no faith in the weak spined republicans who want to play Uniparty with democrat communist. We have no government just clown stooges spending and stealing taxpayer money while hating Americans and loving on illegal criminals. fjb

If the Republicans are too obvious sitting back and doing nothing, they could get their heads handed to them. They should have some helpful suggestions about items that can be eliminated, or funding tricks that don't make sense. Otherwise, they could be caught flat footed like they were when they had there chance to amend or eliminate Obamacare. They didn't have their act together then and looked like a bunch of idiots.
They may be locked out of negotiations now, but need to have some answers other than, "Ah ... ah ... um ...Ah."

This is the proper strategy. Stick to conservative principles, stand your ground, and let the Dems self-destruct. Easy, squeezy.

Real conservatives hunh.
Trump tried to do infrastructure, what did the Repubs do in congress?
I will bet you, like Trent Lott, McConnell will never leave DC.
Trump made them all look like fools..........therefore they hate him.
