It's a brand new day for the man of steel. Continuing a recent trend of comic book characters coming out as LGBTQ, Superman is now confirmed to be bisexual and on the fight for global social issues, according to the DC team behind the character, who spoke to IGN.
This news is not for the traditional iteration of Clark Kent, but instead his 17-year-old son, Jon, who has taken up his father's mantle.(Snip)“The question for Jon (and for our creative team) is, what should a new Superman fight for today? Can a 17-year-old Superman battle giant robots while ignoring the climate crisis? Of course not.

Monday, former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said on ABC’s “The View” that America was still in a “constitutional crisis” because the Republican Party is a “cult” following former president Donald Trump.Co-host Sara Haines asked, “We know from a new Senate report that Trump tried to pressure leaders at the DOJ to overturn his election loss based on election fraud lies, those attempts to delegitimize President Biden’s win sowed enough doubt to cause the insurrection on January 6th. How close do you think we came to a full constitutional crisis?”Clinton said, “You know, I think we not only came close to a full constitutional crisis,

President Biden on Monday marked National Coming Out Day—a holiday encouraging LGBTQ people to be open about their sexuality—by condemning Republican state legislatures for bills he says unfairly discriminate against the LGBTQ community. “Despite the extraordinary progress our nation has made, our work to ensure the full promise of equality is not yet done,” Mr. Biden said in a statement. “Anti-LGBTQ+ bills still proliferate in state legislatures. Bullying and harassment—particularly of young transgender Americans and LGBTQ+ people of color—still abounds, diminishing our national character.
“From defeating discriminatory bills to passing the Equality Act, we have more work to do to ensure that every American can live free

A new Haitian caravan is headed for the United States in 20 states and the man leading them says they are prepared for “war.” The migrant caravan advocate who is in Southern Mexico says that his group is going to head to the U.S. border from Tapachula around Oct. 25, a Border Report translation said. “We are leaving in 20 days,” Irineo Mujica said in a video shared on Tuesday on social media. “We prefer to march with (travel) papers. Older adults without heart disease should not take daily low-dose aspirin to prevent a first heart attack or stroke, a panel of experts said on Tuesday. In new draft guidance, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (UPSTF) said that recent evidence has shown the risks of side effects far outweigh any potential benefits for seniors. This means that low-dose, or baby, aspirin should only be taken daily by patients have had a heart attack or stroke in the past or by younger adults with no bleeding risks. If finalized, the advice would backtrack on recommendations the panel issued in 2016 for helping prevent a first heart attack and stroke

Minnetonka Moccasin Co., the Minneapolis company that over 75 years popularized Native American-styled footwear across the country, issued a formal apology Monday for adopting Native American culture without acknowledgment. The company, which dropped "moccasin" from its logo in 2008, has now removed the word from much of its corporate messaging and is calling itself simply Minnetonka.
"Minnetonka deeply and meaningfully apologizes for having benefited from selling Native-inspired designs without directly honoring Native culture or communities," the company said in a statement.
The company said it would work more closely with Native American artists and businesses and continue to contribute to Native American causes. "While our history with appropriation

Jim Acosta is devastated because he thought that the rabid support for Donald J. Trump would dissipate after he was forced out of office by the Deep State.Jimmy couldn’t have been more wrong. Not only is Trump’s current approval rating far higher than Joe Biden’s, but the 45th President packs campaign-style rally’s with tens of thousands of people without even trying. Now, Acosta is referring to these persistent Trump supporters “twisted and evil”.“And these politicians have to ask themselves, why are you sharing the stage with that man?”

Central Maine Medical Center, a key hospital for regional healthcare, issued a dire warning about the need to shut down critical care services last week if they are forced to fire or lay-off all the unvaccinated workers. The hospital appealed to the Governor’s office, Democrat Janet Mills(snip), for a testing option to avoid losing some of the most important care providers in their system.
Today, the hospital quantified their issue and announced they were going to suspend pediatric admissions as well as heart attack and trauma admissions, because they just will not be able to operate.
Unfortunately, the Democrat Governor has announced she doesn’t care if the hospital has to shut down.

It’s that time again, time to find a new 007 as Daniel Craig retires from the iconic role after five tries. [Snip] So who will be Eon Productions No. 7 007? Diversity seems to be the big catchphrase these days. Is it time for a change? A black man? A black woman? Hispanic? Transgender? Would audiences put up with a radical departure like a female secret agent who orders a Chardonnay spritzer? Not shaken. Not stirred? She’d have to be very good to
