A veteran TV reporter at a Missouri news station was fired last week for refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Linda Simmons, who worked for 14 years at KY3 based in Springfield, wrote on Facebook that she requested a religious exemption to the vaccine mandate instituted by her station’s parent company—but it was denied.(Snip)“I’ve made a big decision and decided not to allow the company that owns KY3, Gray Television, to control my personal health choices. I did not comply with their vaccine mandate after my exemption request was denied,” her post continued. Simmons was one of three station employees who were

Good for her. Down the road, you will probably thank yourself for making what was a painful (though coerced) decision now. No one should have to choose between their livelihoods and their own personal health choices.

Well, we find that not all reporters are as stupid as most of them are.

The fired and unwanted will punish those that have wronged them. The smug self righteousness will be erased, and your future is to rot in slime gruel. You are making a lot of enemies.

While it wont put food on the table, I respect her. My religious exemption was approved...for now. I hope I have the courage to do what she did if the time comes.

People, with the help of a few not wearing masks or blindfolds, are waking up to the Covid “pandemic” vaccine absolute scam. With the miraculous help of the AAPS and the clarity of thought of Dr. Jane Orient. Soon we may be over this awful time in history.

The cherished 1st Amendment right to practice religion and to have free speech protection was violated-- sue the crap out of them!
Being female, surely the media company would respect "her body, her choice", right???

It has been said before and I will say it again: if the vaccine works, it shouldn't matter if others are vaccinated or not. Same goes for masks. You can wear a mask if you want to, I won't.

In case you missed it, this is a quote from a video that went viral yesterday.
“Why do the protected need to be protected from the unprotected by forcing the unprotected to use the protection that didn’t protect the protected in the first place?”
Amen, sister!

The TV company probably believes that it is stronger than God.
Stay tuned.

When this country returns to sanity and for the sake of this Republic, we pray that it will, this female reporter should be re-instated with full backpay. If the U.S.Supreme Court is worth anything, they would rule that the vaccine is optional, not a mandate as it is in Florida....but where are they????Would someone go find them. Are they hiding under their benches, except for Alito and Thomas?

An 18-year employee, Meggan Gray gave up her co-hosting role on WLOX-TV’s “Good Morning Mississippi” last Thursday, a day before a mandate to be fully immunized took effect on October 1, according to a local newspaper, the Sun Herald.
The Biloxi-based station’s parent, Gray Television, was requiring all employees, guests, contractors and tenants to be fully vaccinated against the virus, Gray posted on Facebook. “I tried everything possible to keep my job, including offering to be tested on a weekly basis. My requests were denied,” she wrote.
“I may have lost my job, but I preserved my integrity,” she added.
