Without immediate action to combat climate change, 216 million people could be forced to migrate to other parts of their country by 2050. A new report from the World Bank modeled the impact of rising sea levels, water scarcity and declining crop productivity on six regions, concluding that climate migration 'hotspots' will emerge as soon as 2030.The poorest parts of the world will be hit hardest, researchers said: Sub-Saharan Africa alone would account for 86 million of the internal migrants, with 19 million more in North Africa, the report showed,

I held off on writing about the “F*** Joe Biden” chants that began at college football games a couple of weeks ago. I had three reasons. First, I’m not a fan of obscenities because I think they cheapen speech. Second, these chants were initially small groups at Southern colleges, which really didn’t seem like a “thing.” Third, I wasn’t going to get excited until I learned whether the chants had legs. Well, it turns out they do have legs and they’re becoming large chants at multiple games (including New York baseball games). And most importantly, Joe Biden knows about them and isn’t happy.

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that they did not hear President Donald Trump’s 2020 election case because it did not meet “normal criteria.”
Anchor Chris Wallace said, “One of your arguments against seeing the court’s political is the fact that it refused to even hear the appeals from the Trump campaign about the 2020 election. Didn’t even hear it them.”
In a video, former President Donald Trump said, “No judge has had the courage, including the Supreme Court — I am so disappointed in them...

Bill Maher took aim at the NFL for playing Lift Every Voice and Sing - otherwise known as the black national anthem - at Thursday's game between the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Real Time with Bill Maher host warned that having two different national anthems, based on race, was a slippery slope to 'segregation' but 'under a different name,' he said.'I think when you go down a road where you're having two different national anthems, colleges... have different graduation ceremonies for black and white, separate dorms... this is what I mean: segregation,' Maher said

Americans are fuming and pessimistic at this time, that’s for sure. A new CNN poll finds that 74% of U.S. adults now say they are “very or somewhat angry” about the way things are going in the U.S. today—that includes 88% of Republicans, 70% of independents and even 67% of Democrats. But wait, there’s more. Another 69% of U.S. adults now say that things are going “pretty or very badly” in the country these days—that includes 91% of Republicans, 72% of independents and 49% of Democrats. And by the way, illegal immigration is still a concern for many in this nation. The CNN survey also found that 77%

It happened again yesterday, twice. Reading through comments on a blog post I found this: "I will never trust another doctor again." I long ago lost count of the number of times I have seen that written.
You hear it, too. In private conversations with people they trust, American citizens are heaping contempt on doctors for forcing a narrative on us that had no basis in science. Many of us, perhaps even the majority, immediately recognized this virus for what it is -- a common flu virus

The White House abruptly cut the feed of President Biden's briefing on wildfires with federal and state officials. During Monday's visit to Boise, Idaho, Biden received a briefing about the ongoing wildfires that have plagued several states out west.
While Biden spoke for much of the briefing, at one point he said he wanted to hear more from George Geissler of the National Association of State Foresters. "Can I ask you a question?" Biden asked.
"Of course," Geissler responded.
"One of the things that I've been working on with some others is —" Biden said before being cut off mid-sentence.

A group of very young Trump supporters hilariously trolled Joe Biden in Shanksville, PA over the weekend – much to the horror of Biden’s handlers.
NBC News reported that after attending a memorial event at ground zero, Biden visited the Flight 93 memorial in Shanksville. Apart from being part of the wreath-laying ceremony, the U.S. President also visited the local fire department.
It was there when a bunch of kids approached Biden and the U.S. President was pictured surrounded by them.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s outfit at the Met Gala came with a message. The New York congresswoman wore a white gown with the phrase “Tax the Rich” emblazoned in red on the back. The dress was designed by Aurora James, who created a pledge for large corporations to fill 15% of their shelves with products from Black-owned businesses. “When Aurora and I were first kind of partnered, we really started having a conversation about what it means to be working-class women of color at the Met, and we said we can’t just play along, but we need to break the fourth wall and challenge some of the institutions

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has called Senator Joe Manchin 'patronizing' for referring to her as a 'young lady' as the two Democrats spar over his objections to the party's massive spending bill. Manchin appeared on CNN's State of the Union on Sunday to explain his concerns with President Joe Biden's $3.5 trillion plan for social and environmental spending, denying Ocasio-Cortez's allegation that he has 'weekly huddles' with Exxon executives.'I don't know that young lady that well, I really don't. I met her one time between sets here, but that's it. We've not had any conversations.

"Many, many more mandates" will come on top of the Biden administrations' new vaccine restrictions, Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday. Fauci predicted that colleges, universities, and businesses are likely to start imposing vaccine mandates, he told CNN's Jen Christensen at a panel organized by NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ Journalists on Sunday. "And I believe that's going to turn this around because I don't think people are going to want to not go to work, or not go to college, or not go to university," he said. However, he said he did not expect more "centrally-derived mandates" to be on
