So, You Want to Win Elections?

Things stopped working in this country about 50 years ago. But it wasn’t really noticeable until a few decades later. I like to date the beginning of the decay to the summer of 1969, though it’s impossible to put a precise date on it. Still, the summer of 1969 was an inflection point much more important than 1967’s “Summer of Love.”Consider: On July 20, 1969, Apollo XI landed on the moon and 39 minutes later, on July 21, Neil Armstrong became the first man to stand on its surface. A few weeks later, on the night of August 8, the Manson family broke into Roman Polanski’s Hollywood Hills home

American great began to fade on November 22, 1963, the day Democrat Lyndon B. Johnson became president. There was a brief blip up under President Reagan mirrored by Trump's term. God help us with the current 'feckless piece of crap' illigitimate occupant of the oval office.

I was around in 69......on my 2nd combat tour out of Ubon flying F4 Phantoms. I remember coming back from a bombing mission one night and looking up at the moon and it struck me like a sledge hammer. “My God we have people up there walking around on the moon and here I am down here working the Ho Chi Men Trail trying to kill the trucks and guns of one 3rd world nation at war with another 3rd world nation......a war which had already been abandoned by LBJ who had escalated it with the intent of never winning it”. At that point we fought to survive and for each other. Victory was off the table, if it ever was on it. Sort of like now. In other words, put a democrat in charge of anything and he will screw it up and stab you in the back.

I think the way to Win Elections is to stop Mail in Ballots and demand Voter ID. Two simple things! Yes, there can be Absentee Ballots for those who ask for them. That way the Ballots can be traced and they will also be only a few, not millions. Also, every state should have Voter ID in place before the 2022 Elections. We know the Democrat States won't do it, but Republican States must!! Also, those who were in charge of counting Ballots during the 2020 election, where there is proof of fraud should have already been fired (and in some cases prosecuted). Also, those Governors and Sec. of States who allowed the Fraud and looked the other way should be run out of Office (I'm talking about you, AZ and GA)! One more thing! NO outside Millions should be allowed to come into ANY State Government to be used in an Election. No more Soros, Zuckerberg or others should be buying our elections. Make it a LAW!

Will repeat what I posted a few days ago. A ballot in one hand and pitchfork in the other. Nothing else will work against the criminal Left. In practical terms organize a citizen's observer corps that doesn't let the ballot boxes and papers out of their sites. Make sure the key seven battleground states have bullet proof vote security laws. What the author suggests might work in an ideal non criminal environment. That train has left the station.

Strange article. For starters, the fact that the opening summary of August ‘69 makes no mention of Chappaquiddick has me wondering if the author was even alive at the time.

Democrat politicians reflect their voters. They are emotional and lack the common sense gene. Democrats go into politics thinking running a government is a cakewalk. Once they get in, they find out it’s completely different, which is why you see disaster in in the Democrat run cities. Take your pick. None of them has had a real job in their lives and have no idea how to get something done right and on time, and the people who advise them are cut of the same cloth. Their constituents consist of people who shouldn’t be voting because they are ignorant of what is going on. But that’s the way it is.

I spent 1969 in the Pacific with the Navy but we did listen to the Astronauts conversing with the ground on our radios. As for elections, those are also a thing of the past. If we want to take this country back we will have to TAKE it, just like they did from us. Marxism is not an option.

Also not mentioned in the recap of August 1969 is hurricane Camille which destroyed much of the Gulf Coast the same weekend that half a million people were getting high at Woodstock. As to elections - during the last 2 years of his life, the late great Rush Limbaugh spoke frequently about how the left wanted to eliminate elections altogether. Once again, Rush was right.

FTA, the very last paragraph - "By any objective measure our vital signs are weak. But we’re alive. And that means we can do better. Exploring how we can regain our vitality is essential. Because we can. That’s the mission. If you’re up for it, stick around." Once again, a clear conclusion that America's future remains in our hands. An America, as founded, that is.

Thank you #3 I was there too at that time a 20 year old evacted out to a hospital ship on July 4th. It's like you said far from home and fighting for each other not some big eared professional politician braggart and a greasy haired car salesman, Robert McNamara. I did my time and paid my dues to be here watching this happen to a great country. I don't have many election cycles left in me but counting on election success and the ballot box against the criminal left while republicans whistles pass the graveyard has about killed my desire or optimistic about winning. When a population can't appreciate President Trump and what he's done they are not Americans.

So, you want to win elections in 2021 in the United States? You have 2 choices if you are on the right, and only 2. You either get on top of the massive and pervasive vote fraud RIGHT NOW, including prison time for those responsible, restoration of rightful outcomes, and legislative approaches to make it impossible to cheat, or you get in the game. Those are your only choices. At this point in my life and history, I’m ok with either.

Today's "family values" are not anywhere near what they were 50 years ago, in 1969. Today's women demand "careers", better when they are breaking glass ceilings as pioneers, and all that rot. They prefer DoorDash to actual cooking. Starbucks to Folgers. A degree over a high school diploma. And they prefer a life unfettered by children with the added income of a partner, usually male, but not always. (BTW: How many times have you heard over the years, "I'll never bring a child into THIS world."?) The real expansion of the "good times" came when the household gained a worker-for-pay, i.e. Mom went to work. That dual income meant a bigger house, air conditioning, two late model cars, and a 24-inch Zenith color TV. Now it's five dollar lattes, weekends in Paris, designer stuff, and two $40,000 "vehicles" on lease, maybe college for the rug rats, if any. Being a DINK has its advantages.

Sorry but I call "B.S." on this whole article. A typical article written by a fuzzy-thinking egg head. America's decline came from banning prayer in schools, allowing the flag to be burned without any consequence after calling it "free speech", allowing returning Vietnam vets (all heroes, imo) to be spat on at airports and called "baby-killers" without consequence, instituting the Miranda warning for every little thing, allowing "the pill" to be given out in High School without parents' approval, allowing the killing of a baby if the pill didn't work, taking the American dollar and devaluing it down to crap (an ounce of gold could be bought with $32 in 1973 and now you need about $1,800 for the exact same ounce!), raising taxes so high --- to pay for social programs that don't work & never will --- so that one parent can't work anymore so you now need two incomes because Uncle Sam used to take only about 20% of your total income and now helps himself to 51% (and that's just the Feds), etc. And so you want to win an election? It's not the agenda ... it's stopping the steal! EVERYONE must prove they are citizens in order to vote and we need to stop using computer driven voting machines that are too easily hacked and changed as they were in China Joe's case and many Senatorial elections. That's how you win!

What about CHAIN OF CUSTODY of ballots? On election day, the ballot custody was lost. Who knows who had the ballots and for how long. Everything can be on the up and up, but if the Chain of Custody is fraudulent, then you can kiss goodbye your elections. Why aren't people being arrested or fired for this grievous breach of custody?
