Planned Parenthood has secured a rare emergency temporary restraining order (TRO) in a suit against Texas Right to Life, fresh off the heels of the 5-4 Supreme Court decision not to block the new bill prohibiting abortion after six weeks. Judge Maya Guerra Gamble of the District Court in Travis County, Texas, approved Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas Surgical Health’s application for a TRO in the wake of the Supreme Court decision this week. Judge Gamble insists in the document that the plaintiffs, including doctors and staff, would face imminent lawsuits without the protection of the TRO while waiting to file a preliminary injunction:

In an exclusive television interview with Fox News' Jennifer Griffin in Ramstein, Germany Saturday, General Gen. Mark Milley was asked about the military operation to process 17,000 Afghan evacuees headed for the U.S. "What they're doing as people come in, they're getting their names registered. They're doing the biometrics. They check their irises. They do their fingerprints. They take a full facial photo," he explained, referencing not only the Department of Homeland Security but officials in the FBI, USAID, the State Department, and Customs and Border Protection.

Why can’t Joe Biden stop lying? That was my thought when I saw that the president had once again completely made up his attendance at a past event, this time while hosting a group of Jewish leaders.According to Biden via a bumbling, confusing claim, he visited the Tree of Life synagogue following a mass shooting that occurred there some years ago.(Tweet/Video) Biden had not, in fact, visited the Tree of Life synagogue. Further, the president has told that lie several times, yet he keeps repeating it. That tracks with other whoppers, such as his claim that he was part of the Civil Rights movement in Delaware, or that he

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is demanding answers over a bombshell report that sex traffickers and their victims may have been among the 120,000 people evacuated from Afghanistan. The problem is that the administration doesn’t really seem to know who was evacuated. All that’s known for certain is that few of the Afghan allies who’d worked alongside America’s veterans and thus earned the privilege of being evacuated actually got out.“[A] small percentage of the Afghan citizens who got out are the ones the U.S. pledged to place at the top of its priority list: the thousands who had worked for the U.S. and its allies as well as

Friday night’s game at Lane Stadium was the first time in two years that it was completely sold out. As players raced out of the tunnel, it was tough to find elbow space, especially in the Virginia Tech student section, where the orange-clad throng leaped in sync to Metallica’s famous “Enter Sandman” song, which played throughout the game.(Video) It was the exhilarating mood that had been missing from this football-deprived region of southwest Virginia during the coronavirus epidemic the previous season that returned this season. There were more than 60,000 Hokies supporters in attendance,

California’s Sept. 14 recall election could shift the balance of the US Senate.Larry Elder, the Republican best positioned to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom, would have the sole power to name a replacement for 88-year-old Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein in the evenly divided body — and hinted he might do just that.“God forbid Gov. Elder should replace Dianne Feinstein who nobody’s seen in weeks,” Elder — who leads the pack of potential replacements for Newsom — said Friday.Feinstein, a six-term senator from California, is the Senate’s oldest member. She has faced sharp criticism from fellow Democrats in recent months over her mental acuity —

At least 100 Afghan refugees who were set to enter the US have been flagged for terrorist ties, NBC News reports, and will now be sent to Kosovo where they will undergo additional screening and review. Specifically the 100 were "flagged for possible ties to the Taliban or terror groups." NBC detailed that "of more than 30,000 evacuees from Afghanistan to the U.S., about 10,000 needed additional screening as of Friday, said the sources, and of those about 100 were flagged for possible ties to the Taliban or terror groups." “Down Syndrome” was trending on Twitter this week alongside “abortion” after the Supreme Court ruled not to block the Texas Heartbeat Act as members of the abortion lobby suggested abortion is necessary to eliminate Down syndrome.A heavily cited thread came from Newsweek contributor Richard Hanania who proposed that banning post-heartbeat abortions could overrun red states with children with Down syndrome and other disabilities.“You can’t screen for Down syndrome before about 10 weeks, and something like 80% of Down syndrome fetuses are aborted,” Hanania wrote.
