Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) said Friday former President Donald Trump should not be the 2024 Republican nominee, but Thursday polling suggests otherwise.Toomey told CNBC: I think that the future of our party is to be a party of ideas, and not to be a party about any one individual, and I think we will learn a lot from the next set of primaries. I think after what happened post-2020 election, I think the president’s behavior was completely unacceptable, so I don’t think he should be the nominee to lead the party in 2024.When challenged on whether he is a conservative fighter who puts American first

President Joe Biden signed an executive order Friday that ordered a review of the classified documents related to the 9/11 terror attacks - with the promise of releasing more information to the public. Biden had been told by nearly 1,800 Americans impacted by the terror attacks last month - including victims' family members, first responders and survivors - not to come to any of the 20th anniversary events unless he declassified documents that potentially show Saudi government links to the September 11, 2001 hijackers. The order makes no mention of Saudi Arabia.

One of America’s “wokest” cities, San Francisco, intends to start paying high-risk criminals to not shoot each other.Starting in October, 10 known criminals will receive a $300 stipend every month that they abstain from busting some caps. The chosen criminals will also be eligible for a $200/month bonus if they meet certain milestones like obtaining a job.“The idea is to provide the small number of San Franciscans who authorities believe are most at risk of shooting someone — or being shot — with an incentive to get help and stay out of trouble,” according to the San Francisco Examiner.“The initiative will pair participants with newly hired life coaches from

Florida Senate President Wilton Simpson (R) said “there is no question” the state’s legislature will consider abortion heartbeat legislation similar to the bill recently enacted in Texas, WFLA reports.“When the Supreme Court goes out and makes a decision like this, it clearly is going to send a signal to all the states that are interested in banning abortions or making it more restrictive to have an abortion in their state, it’s certainly going to make us take a look at those issues,” Simpson told the local news outlet on Thursday.Later in the day, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) suggested that he may support a law banning abortion

On Friday, President Joe Biden appeared to respond to Senator Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) claims that he would not support a massive Democratic spending package, saying the government should have two priorities this month, with the main one framed as beating the coronavirus pandemic. “The second thing that has to happen in September is for the Congress, the House and Senate, to finish passing my economic agenda so that we can keep up the historic momentum we’ve been building,” Biden said. “It’s about investing in America’s future. Not about short-term stimulus.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson used his opening monologue on Thursday to torch Democrats’ histrionic reaction to the Supreme Court ruling on a new restrictive abortion law in Texas, upholding the law — which effectively bans abortion once a fetal heartbeat is detected. As is usually the case when Carlson draws a bead on the Left, it was a classic beatdown. And a beautiful beatdown at that. The Democrat Party is legendary for the depth of its hypocrisy; it knows no bounds. And what better example than the “my body, my choice” narrative?

If there was a competition for the worst president in United State’s history, President Joe Biden would be winning it.According to the August job report from the Labor Department, the U.S. economy added a measly 235,000 jobs after analysts expected 740,000 jobs to be added to the economy for the month of August.Check out what Breitbart reported: The median Econoday forecast of analysts was for 740,000 jobs and an unemployment rate of 5.2 percent, according to Econoday. President Joe Biden appeared to have a moment of brain freeze on Thursday when telling an anecdote about his daughter's wedding, and forgot the name of a song that was played. His comments came during a virtual event to celebrate the start of the Jewish High Holidays, which focused on recent anti-Semitic attacks, Afghanistan and the hope for renewed collaboration between people of different faiths. Biden, a Roman Catholic, ended his remarks by calling on more religious collaboration, and spoke about his daughter Ashley's wedding to her Jewish doctor Howard Krein in 2012.

The U.S. job market saw hiring slow to 235,000 jobs in August, a sharp drop off after two strong months with the Delta variant of the coronavirus to blame. The unemployment rate dropped to 5.2%, the Labor Department reported Friday, but the predictions for the job market failed to meet expectations by a significant margin. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been looking for 720,000 new hires. President Joe Biden will address the job numbers in a speech at the White House on Friday before he heads to New Orleans to view the damage from Hurricane Ida.

President Biden is scheduled to spend at least part of Labor Day weekend at his home in Delaware despite the ongoing fallout from the chaotic evacuation of Afghanistan that has left dozens of American citizens and thousands of the US military’s Afghan allies in Taliban-controlled territory. The White House says Biden will head to Wilmington after a full day of visiting Louisiana communities devastated by Hurricane Ida. Before he departs the executive mansion for New Orleans Friday morning, the president is scheduled to give remarks on the August jobs report.
