"Panic" seems to be a way of life for Kamala Harris's aides. Just this week, they were reported to have been in a "panic" at Kamala Harris being named Joe Biden's border surge czar.
Now they're in an even bigger panic. That's at the prospect of Kamala Harris being the Democrat presidential candidate in 2024.
The proof was buried inside a vituperative left-wing editorial from the once-even-tempered Economist (Outline.com version here):
(Snip) And it is making senior Democrats nervous. "Everyone is saying, 'Oh God, Kamala is next and then we're in trouble'," says a Democrat close to the White House.

So in her quest to find all those root causes for the current migrant surge into the U.S., Kamala Harris has focused on Central America, where two-thirds of the illegal aliens pouring over our border are coming from.
And not surprisingly, instead of going to the border and asking a border surger about it, or even doing diplomacy, as she claims, she's got big plans to bring in huge corporations and NGOs to the region, kind of like the United Fruit Company, which lefties in the past have complained about.
It's downright laughable.
Here's her press release:
As part of this Call to Action launch, 12 companies and

News organizations are bound by shareholders to be forward-looking. So what does it say about Fox News, whose popularity took a hit over its election night coverage, that all of a sudden, it's moving its obvious #neverTrumpers away from the broadcast action as it seeks to regain market share?
Here's a tweet from NewsMax's Emerald Robinson, outlining a rough pattern: [Snip for tweet]. Now, this is just a back-of-the-envelope calculation. Some, such as Francis, are out for reasons that began before the election was over -- in her case, a pay dispute, while others, such as #NeverTrump Bila, are recent cutbacks. The depth of their #NeverTrump-itude varies, too.

Apparently, all would be paradise in crime-pit San Francisco if it weren't for all those lazy, racist cops who are persecuting poor, heroic Chesa Boudin, the city's leftist do-nothing district attorney.
That's the word from young Chesa, stepson of Bill Ayers, son of a terrorist convicted of killing a black cop, and former Hugo Chávez adviser, who's suddenly found himself unpopular in the city and facing a voter recall.
According to KPIX5 CBS of San Francisco (hat tip: LegalInsurrection.com):
District Attorney Chesa Boudin claimed Sunday that placing blame on his prosecutors for crime in San Francisco's

Joe Biden's been "wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades," as Bob Gates wrote in his memoir, so here we go again.
This time, he sanctioned the wrong country, giving Vladimir Putin a pass on his energy pipeline to Europe, while sanctioning America's pipeline from Canada. Only bad guys get sanctions, see, so guess who Biden's bad guy is.
According to Axios:
The Biden administration will waive sanctions on the corporate entity and CEO overseeing the construction of Russia's Nord Stream 2 pipeline into Germany, according to two sources briefed on the decision.

Prince Harry seemed determined to outdo Meghan Markle on the obnoxious celebrity front.
The oafish royal on the lam from his U.K. duties, who's now set up shop here to live the billionaire lifestyle, is now, like a lot of them, telling us how to run our country. He's calling our First Amendment 'bonkers.'
Kid you not.
According to the London Spectator (hat tip: Daily Caller), citing a podcast interview that Prince Harry made with the Davos-like Aspen Institute:
I’ve got so much I want to say about the First Amendment as I sort of understand it, but it is bonkers. I don’t want to start going down the

The news didn’t last long in the cycle. But it deserved more attention. Americans don’t need an army of indoctrinated global warming zealots lecturing, hectoring, and harassing them over their insignificant carbon dioxide emissions. They should be aware of what their “superiors” in Washington want to unleash on them.
As reported May 5 by Fox News, “Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other progressive lawmakers are calling for the creation of a 1.5 million-strong group of civilians

The U.K. Labour Party took the mother of all thrashings in yesterday's local or special elections, losing its longtime stronghold of Hartlepool in the industrial north for the first time in 62 years, and by a monster margin. That wasn't the only one.
According to the Daily Mail:
Ministers have predicted that Boris Johnson could rule longer than Margaret Thatcher as results showed the Tories could take 36 more Westminster seats from Labour at the next General Election.
Labour was thrashed in the Hartlepool by-election on Thursday, with Jill Mortimer securing a majority of almost 7,000 in a seat the Tories had not held since 1964.

The latest jobs report shows that President Joe Biden is already leaving his imprint on the economy. Job growth was “unexpectedly” slow, and unemployment climbed, despite a massive shortage of workers.
When the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported the jobs numbers for April, the press seemed stunned. Only 266,000 jobs were created, well below forecasts. The number for March had to be revised down by 146,000. And unemployment ticked up for the first time since the lockdown.
The New York Times said that “Jobs Report Shows Surprising Slowdown in Hiring.” Another said “New Jobs Report Shocks Experts With Unexpected Hiring

Mexican crime cartels, never seeing the U.S. border so inviting as it has been under President Joe Biden, are openly driving to the border with tractor trailers full of illegal immigrants and drugs to unload their cargo, according to a new report.
For the first time, 18-wheelers are stopping at the Rio Grande to dump their cargo in the poorly defended Big Bend areas of West Texas as cartels shop for new crossing points.
“It’s never been this busy,” one agent told Todd Bensman of the Center for Immigration Studies. He has been on the border charting the impact of Biden’s border-opening policies, dubbed “la invitacion” by illegal immigrants.

Looks like it's not just mansions for smooth operator Patrisse Cullors, who co-founded Black Lives Matter.
She's also into stretches at luxury resorts, with some very curious accounting.
According to an investigative report from the Daily Caller:
Los Angeles-based jail reform group led by BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors spent nearly $26,000 for “meetings” at a luxury Malibu beach resort in 2019, according to campaign finance records reviewed by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Reform LA Jails dropped $10,179 for “meetings and appearances” at the Calamigos Guest Ranch and Beach Club in Malibu, California,

The Biden administration is loud and insistent that its dinner-triangle policies have nothing to do with the migrant surge rolling through our southern border. Never mind what the President of Mexico says, Biden and his vice president, Kamala Harris, are adamant.
"The truth is, nothing has changed," Biden told the nation in a national address. Explaining the surge, Biden claimed: "I'd like to think it's because I'm a nice guy, but it's not." He insisted that the surgers were just seasonal surgers, nothing to do with his recission of President Trump's migration treaties with Mexico and Central America, nor his
