It’s probably a question I’m not allowed to ask, but I honestly don’t care. And the fact that it will upset a bunch of pearl-clutching leftists and gender fascists just makes me want to ask it more, and louder. But with all the talk from the left about transgender rights and how boys who believe they are girls should be allowed to compete in any sport they so choose, why aren’t there any stories of the opposite happening? Where are the girls in boys’ sports?
It’s pretty easy to find stories about boys competing in girls’ sports, particularly track and field events, largely because they tend to win…by a lot.

Well, there was a lot of fanfare about the female ref in the last Super Bowl. And an item in the fall about the female kicker on a college team. Ain't that enough?

Let's see...there was the celebrated NCAA glass ceiling breaking female football kicker this past season. There have been a number of girls playing high school football. And whatever happened to that girl who was featured in the NFL legends video as the future of the game? And then there were a number of girls wrestling in high school, playing tennis and golfing, too. The NBA has drafted a few women along the way. The Globetrotters have one playing with them. So, these are not invisible, but they are exceptions that prove a rule...girls cannot compete with boys/men.
EQUALITY is the demand; EQUALITY is what they should get. No gender divisions, just as there are no divisions for slower runners in track meets, or for batters who can't hit, or golfers who can't break 70 playing 9 holes. Girls athletics are inferior in most cases to their men's counterparts. They are supported as charity for the most part. If the USA is committed to gender equality, as is certainly the "intent" when the military is pushing women into special forces and piloting fighters, then the USA should not be sending gender separate teams to the Olympics. Sports is a meritocracy, and the level playing field is one playing field for all. Until the Olympics reforms, the USA has a moral obligation to boycott. What would Alinsky do?

That college "kicker" was a pathetic PR joke, but they made her into Rosa Parks.

Because the parents of most girls know that their daughters are likely to get badly injured playing sports with boys. Sports are dangerous enough on all-girls teams. I know of two girls who've gotten concussions playing either soccer or lacrosse. One is now in her 30s, and has daily migraines. The parents of the other made her quit sports and concentrate on her studies.

They're still trying to prove that boys and girls are equal in every sense. More boys identifying as girls will increase girls' stats (especially in sports) and any girl identifying as a boy, who can get into sports, will lower the boys' stats. Eventually it balances out and, via la ... boys and girls are equal. It'll say so in the numbers.
I can't wait to see Tigress Woods join the LPGA or Labronna James join the WNBA or Tammy Brady join the Powder Puff in their retirement years.

Half the NFL teams should be required to be women. The NFL is requiring their cheerleader squads to have men. That is adding to those no longer watching. The referees are adding women. We are getting women announcers. It is time for women to take the field. Otherwise, the NFL should be sued for exclusion. As long as each team had the same number of women, it would still be fair. Half the commericials should be women. That is not the case now. The NFL should be sued for it. Why aren't there any Orientals in the NFL? That is systemic racism.

Also, seems to be a lack of news stories about women using the men's room or women showering in the men's room?

About the only sports that I think that women might compete with men are target shooting and fencing, neither of which require dominant physical size or strength

Back in the day, a coach would have said " Come back and ask me after you get neutered and then I'll think about it" (when he already knew what he'd think about it.)

Where physical strength isn't a factor in competing or winning, girls and women can compete with boys and men. Playing pool for instance, or bowling. How about archery, or sport shooting. None of those sports require physical strength to win. Bowling may require some strength, but it doesn't take that much to knock over pins to get a strike.

I'm thoroughly disgusted, too,.
An important part of male professional golfers' lives is playing pro-ams and, sometimes, mixed events with LPGA pros, which was always a lot of fun for me. The ladies I played with, in practice and mixed events, worked hard and some of them were quite talented. Not mentioning names, but I played with one lady who was both taller and heavier than I (5-9 1/2, 165), and known for being among the longest hitting women of the time. She never got a single tee shot with 40 yards of me, even hitting from the whites while I hit from the blues; my 2-iron traveled approximately as far as her driver. And though stronger than average, I was nothing special among the guys. I knew "Eighties famed heavy hitters Andy Franks, Denny Wolfe, and Jim Maynard. They hit the ball with such violent authority they could make me look like a junior. The physical difference between men and women is even greater than that.
(My driver clubhead speed was measured at 117mph with 43" steel shafted, persimmon driver in 1983, equivalent to about 125mph with modern equipment. The super long-hitting guys you see in the National Long Driving Championship can generate over 150mph of clubhead speed, and would outdrive my younger self by 50-80 yards.)
Women who think they're transitioning to male--they can't, and, incidentally, the Vanderbilt substitute female placekicker who only kicked off is not a tranny--should not bother with male sports requiring male strength and speed. If it's a contact sport, they might get hurt. A completely pointless exercise in futility. Kind of stupid.
