Have You Tried Not Being White?

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 3/4/2021 8:29:06 PM

Are you now, or have you ever been, a white person? I ask this not out of personal curiosity but for the betterment of American society. Everyone with a sense of justice knows that the greatest threat our country faces comes from its own white population. This message now saturates our culture. We hear it from the president’s bully pulpit. It is everywhere in the media and it is an increasingly inescapable feature of school and workplace life. Coca-Cola gave a useful and concise formulation to this plague in their now required “sensitivity” training for employees. The snappy message: “try to be less white.”

My whiteness never hurt anyone. I don't think the same can be said of the black grievance-mongers who stomp on police cars and scream, "Burn this em-effer DOWN!" If I told someone to be less of a ghetto thug, it would not go so well.

Good article, but Matthew wimps out at the end, "Republican leaders, especially, have a moral obligation to respond to these calumnies and affirm the dignity of all Americans. Their failure to do so is an indictment of their leadership." GOPe failures are decades in the making and their leadership has already been indicted, tried and convicted by the MAGA jury. Depending upon "Republican leaders" to exert a "moral obligation" is like expecting Pelosi to go to confession. Ain't gonna happen. Cancelling the cancel culture is up to those of us in the trenches. My "white fragility" is magnitudes stronger than the melting point of snowflakes.

All of this "be less white" crap says more about the blacks that agree with it than it does about whites. It screams of an inferiority complex that some blacks have. They are admitting that whites are, indeed, better than them. So, to counter that, they are trying to drag us in the gutter with them. That is how it looks to me anyway.

I know this has little to do with Coke, but... I've come to the conclusion that the average Democrat voter (not the Democrat Party leaders or the Democrat office holders), believes they have been cheated in life and are victims in some way. I say this because I was watching Kristi Noem, giving her speech at the CPAC a couple of days ago. There's no way she would ever think of herself as a victim, nor would any other conservative woman or man. Conservatives realize that life can be rough, pain and suffering are part of it, but don't blame their dilemma on someone else; Democrat will and do. Why? Because some people refuse to admit to doing wrong, doing dumb things, for not thinking ahead or being the least bit responsible for what happens to them. This is also why Christians are usually conservative, because God tells us that we are all sinners in need of salvation, and their are consequences for OUR actions. It is who we are, yet Democrats refuse to accept it and want to blame the consequences of their actions on someone else. Christians will face the truth about themselves and about life, and deal with it the best they can, with God's help.. In the end, Democrats will usually live out their lives, in rebellion of God, rebellion of the truth, and rebellion of who they are. It's always easier to blame others for their missteps, wrong thinking, wrong behavior and laziness. And that kind of thinking puts them at odds with their Creator and makes them susceptible to Democrat Party lies, that it's not their fault, they are victims of whites, of capitalism, of American racism or of anyone else they can think of, besides themselves.

Since announcing his candidacy for President in 2015, Donald Trump has dominated the national news cycle — largely to the benefit of legacy media companies. As a growing amount of their airtime centered upon their hatred of the businessman turned politician, many witnessed sharp increases in their audience sizes. The New York Times, for instance, saw more subscriptions in the last three months of 2016 than all of 2015 combined. During election week in 2020, CNN saw a 135% increase in viewership over the first week of November 2019. After the inauguration of President Biden, however, legacy media saw double-digit drops in their viewership.

Democrats call their current massive spending bill a "COVID relief" bill, but the half-trillion-dollar bailout of state governments has nothing to do with COVID-19 relief. Plenty of states are doing poorly fiscally, but generally, this has nothing to do with the pandemic and everything to do with their own mismanagement. This was a disputed point back in the spring, but no more. The numbers are in. The coronavirus has not left most states struggling for revenue the way people originally expected. The Congressional Budget Office is anticipating 4.6% economic growth in 2021. That surge, which will come along with the lifting of coronavirus restrictions, will serve as its own stimulus package

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
