Dr. Seuss’ “canceled” books are becoming rarer by the minute.
EBay is barring users from reselling the six Dr. Seuss books that will no longer be printed due to their “racist” imagery — a move that comes after the books started going for hundreds of dollars on the auction site.
“EBay is currently sweeping our marketplace to remove these items,” an eBay spokeswoman told the Wall Street Journal in an email.
The announcement comes after Dr. Seuss Enterprises, which publishes the author’s books for Penguin Random House, said it would no longer print six titles.

How about John Steinbeck - of mice and men for their derogatory description of mentally challenged individuals.
How about Earl Flynn movies because he was a misogamists'.
How about any book with the KKK wizard Robert Byrd.
How about any book by Louis Farrakhan.
We'll soon be at the point that ALL books be banned.

I’ll bet this decision will actually increase the value of the banned books.

Sooner or later progressives are going to come for the Bible. I wish they would do it quickly to see how "Catholics" like Pelosi and Biden would react.

Increasing their value and the interest even more. Soon there will be underground pdf copies circulating, without any doubt.

I just added a review to eBay under the title "Corporate censorship" that if Dr Seuss is too racist for them, I'll be shutting down my account.

Ironic... but when I was in first grade in 1963, Dr. Seuss's 'The Sneetches' taught me all I needed to know about racism. And it was the right message.
BTW, every single Democrat is related to Sylvester McMonkey McBean.

People BEWARE! This cancel culture is spreading like wildfire and it a serious threat to YOUR freedom of speech. It is out of control and can readily be directed to any entity and/or any individual. It seems that the targets are currently utterly defenseless. Do not depend on courts of law to remedy these deadly attacks. It appears that in most cases the attackers are unknown and the time and expenses to discover their identities are beyond the capability of most victims.
Is cancel culture exclusively or mostly limited to the United States? It is going on in Europe? South or Central America? Africa? Asia? Etc.

So how long will it before EBay decides nobody can sell a Bible? After all, it's so "offensive."

When I was in college, I studied the history of modern Germany. One of the books we could purchase was Mein Kampf. Regarding the book as "offensive" was totally off my radar. I completely understood that the professor wanted the students to understand the mind of Hitler and to better understand what happened in Germany. Period. End of story.
Dear God!! What has happened to us?!

I don't particularly blame eBay. There are scavenger lawyers who would love to take on contingency cases for African American clients, suing eBay six ways to Sunday.

We should care because they will all start banning everything they deem "inappropriate". It won't stop at EBay and what about those who want to read it? Or those who are deprived of just being able to discover it?? Yes, YOU should care!

Apparently, Dr. Seuss is more toxic than Louis Farrakhan or Adolph Hitler whose books are still freely available on Ebay.
