Amazon sent a letter to President Joe Biden Wednesday offering to help the White House distribute the Covid-19 vaccine, marking a sharp change from the companyâs contentious relationship with former president Donald Trump as the Biden administration faces a significant challenge in ramping up the vaccine rollout.
In a letter to Biden, which was first reported by Reuters, Amazon worldwide consumer CEO Dave Clark said the company âstands ready to assist you in reaching your goalâ of vaccinating 100 million Americans in the first 100 days of Bidenâs presidency.

They aren't offering for the good of the people. They are doing it with the expectation that they will be rewarded for being good little leftists.

i had to go to Kohl's about six months ago due to Amazon's poor customer service. The Amazon return line was the busiest line in the store. It says something about both companies, and none of it good.
Thanks Amazon, but a resounding no thanks.

If I'm a member of Amazon Prime does that mean I get the vaccine the next day?

Somebody SHOULD help if this is ever going to work. I can't believe what a mess this distribution effort has become. Two weeks ago, I applied online at the county website and filled out all applicable forms. Never got a response. It wasn't until someone I know developed Covid and named me as someone he was in contact with . Received a text from a tracing organization in a state 600 miles distant and a vm from a person whose recording or text was not could not be translated to the English language and I'm not proficient in Jive. Learned from a friend that Rite Aid was offering testing and after nearly a week, was granted an appointment. I have to wait 'at least a week' to find out if I'm positive. STILL have not heard a word from my county health department. Now, I find their website is down. I'm in the largest city north of Grand Rapids MI so it isn't exactly the boonies.
I'm sure that , between Gretchen Whitmer and Joe Biden, things are going to be ALL better, soon.

Saving the people wasn't worth it when Trump was president?

I understand your frustration, #5. I live in Florida, in the largest Senior community in the Country! One would think it wouldn't be a problem getting vaccinated. I'm 79, so I was happy when DiSantis said he would begin with people 75 and older, then go to 65 and older. Of course, he chanced his mind and stated we would do 65 and older after all. It's been three weeks, I was registered in Two Counties, and didn't hear a word. Meanwhile, all of a sudden those counties ran out of Vaccine. Fortunately for me Publix stated they would now be giving out the Vaccine and as of yesterday I snagged a spot and will get my shot at noon today and have my appointment for the second shot! But I have neighbors who tried at 6 AM yesterday to get through to sign up and nothing. It is very hit and miss! Also, apparently people were coming from other states to get vaccinated. De Santis put a stop to that Monday, but it should have been stopped from the beginning. I think De Santis has been a great Governor, but this Vaccine fiasco has hurt him!

Thank goodness here in Illinois we are prioritizing inmates over our high risk including elderly so we can be as Fat Boy Pritzker put it "effectuating equity.â
Aren't the rest of you all jealous of our lofty virtue?
In the mid 19th century Illinois was known as the "sucker state." That was because the soil was so rich the corn plant suckers could be plucked and planted and would grow. However, it sure has taken on an equally accurate meaning.

Amazon will provide you with a vaccine -- after --they've determined you're vaccine-worthy based on your purchase history and browsing history with them. You didn't buy Michelle Obama's autobiography?!? You spent 33 minutes browsing MAGA hats on March 12, 2019?!? You gave a one-star review to Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing DVD in 2001?!? Sorry, no vaccine for you!!! Next!

#7, I agree completely that Florida is completely disorganized. I'm glad you were able to sign up via Publix. I live near Naples, FL at the bottom of the west coast, and was able to get an appointment at another Florida Publix ... in Pensacola, 612 miles away. I'd have to return to the same store for my second shot. 2,448 miles of driving. I passed.

I'm done with Amazon. In addition to their constant pandering to the left, I had one of my Christmas orders stolen right from one of their shipping facilities in early Deember and after two phone calls and a never-ending loop through their brainless AI problem resolution web page, I still don't have the refund. Crooks, liars, lefties, incompetents, liberals and democrats, the perfect marriage.

Robocop was built by a private company. too much of one thing is NEVER a good thing. centralized can't do it but at least with them we have the choice to un-elect them. private corporations have no boundaries and write their own rules as they go along. this is dangerous. the military will be very soon commercialized if it keeps going down this path. wages will drop, endless wars will begin and suppression of the un-indoctrinated will begin. so any of us with "old fashioned ideas" will be purged and never heard from again. this is dangerous.

Amazon is doing this so that Bezos can "Jump the Line" and get his employees vaccinated as "Essential Employees". This is according to my SO, who is employed by Amazon.

Last week Mark Steyn, filling in for Rush, reported that the terrorist prisoners in Gitmo were at the top of the list of those who will get the vaccine first. I have no doubt that Bezos and Biden were both in on this plan.

Bezos hates Trump. He will do anything to get him and it does not matter if it hurts American citizens who just happen to be in the way.
