NEW YORK — A new book by former President George W. Bush will highlight an issue which now sets him apart from many of his fellow Republicans — immigration. Crown announced Thursday that Bush’s “Out Of Many, One: Portraits of America’s Immigrants” will be published March 2. The book includes 43 portraits by the 43rd president, four-color paintings of immigrants he has come to know over the years, along with biographical essays he wrote about each of them.Bush, who served as president from 2001-2009, has often praised the contributions of immigrants, a notable contrast to President Donald Trump’s rhetoric and policies.

It's a lie. Trump has given full-throated praise to immigrants on many occasions. Not making a distinction between a Foreign Citizen that illegally invades our country with an immigrant is as ridiculous as counting a bank robber a customer making a with-drawl... or a suicide bomber as one of the victims of the blast.

I have no intention of buying W's book - or of reading it. I voted for him and was glad to do so. But when he refused to pardon Scooter Libby I lost faith. He has nothing to say that I want to hear. But the question of immigration is only whether it was legal or not. If, 'yes' then great. If not they have no business here except to visit Disney.

He and the Mooch should do a book tour together, at least neither would have to be worry about being outsmarted by the other.

The Bush family showed their true colors after Trump defeated Heb! It is easy to be gracious in victory, but being gracious in defeat was beyond that group of entitled elitists. I wish them well, but well out of politics. As for Dubya's book, I don't need to be lectured on immigration by an elitist who will never experience the seamy underside of illegal immigration like I do every time I go to the grocery stores closest to my house - full of sullen illegals who don't speak English, don't want to learn, and look at me like I'm trespassing in "their" store.

Trust globalist Bush to lie and blur the lines between illegals and actual legal immigrants. Maybe since he is in so tight with the Texas Hispanic community, they could tell him exactly what they think about his love of illegals, and his hate for the decent people of this nation. Especially the immigrants who do it LEGALLY. Booze and globalism has turned him into an America hater, and that is really sad. He is no Christian, but he IS a world loving Churchian. He and his abortion loving democrat wife need to just stick to retirement.

Oops, hit submit too soon. Bush's petty refusal to pardon an innocent man, all because he had a very petty and infantile feud with his VP is the biggest thing I have against the globalist Bush. That and the condescending way his entire family treated Sarah Palin. The entire Bush clan is the most dishonest family in politics, because they have no problems with being deceitful. Poppy Bush must have hated Trump and his destruction of Poppy's lifelong agenda of globalism. I suspect that is why Junior Bush is opening his mouth right now, as opposed to the actual destruction of Obama's reign of error.

Once again the MSM lies and pours love on the ex-president they hated for 8 years because he takes a position popular with their narrative by dropping that adjective... Republicans oppose ILLEGAL(!!!) immigration. As a LEGAL immigrant, if you support illegal immigration you're not speaking for ME, you're a Marxist!

I can't believe I defended this dope. Lesser of two evils has been the only choice offered by Republicans for years, until Trump, who is a force beyond the stupid party.

I didn't see where he mentioned weather he was talking about legal or illegal immigrants. I seriously doubt if illegal immigrant achievements outweigh the burdens they place upon us.

GW brought 4 million 'guest workers' from south of the border and got the ball rolling.
While he was president, I was in a waiting room looking at magazines. There was a big spread on his daughters on their horses in Mexico in a Spanish language magazine. Laura brought her chef to the WH to make their favorite Spanish dishes. The whole family should move on the other side of the border.
Remember World Without Borders and the Bush family ? Me too.
