On Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) reacted to the dropping of charges against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn by stating the move “really puts us back in the category of almost an emerging democracy, where the rule of law is not yet firmly established, where prosecutorial decisions are made on the basis of politics.”Schiff said, “I think we lost 50 years’ worth of ground in solidifying the independence of the Justice Department after Watergate. This really puts us back in the category of almost an emerging democracy, where the rule of law is not yet firmly established,

Naw, more like an emerging republic, fighting our way back from a coup attempt that has failed.
There are times when HL Mencken's 'hoist the black flag....' idea seems particularly attractive.

I wonder if Schiff looks in the mirror each morning and sees his pathetic, venomous self looking back at him. More likely, he sees himself as God and believes he is in charge of all things. Too bad he's the sort who will be elected again and again in his crazy liberal district.

Entrapment whihc has now been proven beyond reasonable doubt by the available evidence is a total defense against any criminal charge. Now either Nadler and Schiff, both chairmen of their respective House Committee are either too stupid to know that or they are bent on pursuing a illegal prosecution of an innocent man. In either case they should be censured by the House for their behavior and immediately dismissed for their incompetence and vindictiveness from their positions.

this little pustule of a man should be voted out of office by the good citizens of California.
The California delegation to the House is becoming the joke of our Republic. Schiff Head is leading the purulent pack.
Their senators are no better, but since I am represented by bobby Casey, Jr., the back bencher baby killer, I can't say much about California's wretched Kamala Sutra or the geriatric, baffled Dumb Diane.

He must be talking about the Democrats rule of law, which is very different from the normal everyday rule of law. I wish we could apply their version to them.

The truth is oozing out despite the dems best efforts to stop it and it terrifies them. They thought their control of the Deep State would protect them. Instead they are all being immolated together.

Adam Schiff knowing that he is immune from criminal prosecution for anything he says in Congress, must figure that his California based constituency is suffering from a complicated combination of extreme politicization, and is so stupid, to the point where they will overlook his dishonest “Banana Republic” style politics.

Does anyone remember him being this upset when Eric Holder released the new black panther party thugs for voter intimidation after they had been found guilty? I sure don't.
