Retired Pope Benedict XVI links “homosexual marriage” to the “spiritual power of the Anti-Christ” in a new authorized biography published in Germany. “One hundred years ago, everybody would have considered it to be absurd to speak of a homosexual marriage,” the pope emeritus said, according to press reviews of the new book. “Today, one is being excommunicated by society if one opposes it.” The new biography, “Benedict XVI—A Life,” is written by Peter Seewald and set to be published in English in November. In January, Benedict requested that his name be removed as co-author from a book by conservative

Anyone know what the official procedure is for a Pope to come out of retirement? He never failed the official 'silver hammer' test (look it up), so why not?

The REAL Pope speaks.
AFAIK, never before in history has a Pope been removed from office while still living. This Communist Pope who replaced the real Pope is working very hard to totally destroy a Church which has lasted since it's founding by Peter.

One might think we're being punished for legalizing homosexual marriage with all this Covid stuff. You know? Like Sodom and Gomorrah.

I don't think its a punishment from God, but more another attempt to bring down Trump..the locker room tape didn't work, Stormy Daniels didn't work, the Russia collusion hoax didn't work, the Ukraine phone call didn't work, the fake impeachment didn't work (how can you impede Congress when they don't do a damn thing) and bringing down the economy that Trump managed to make soar above any levels before became their (the liberals/democraps/media lites) new mantra...but we will survive, we will come back...I said it all along...this virus crap isn't even up to the levels of a regular winter flu...it's all just hype..day in day out, little tinpot dictator guberners and mayors fitting out their Nazi storm trooper boots on the little people...

We can only have one Pope at a time. Benedict is MY Pope. I don't know who this character in the Vatican is.

Maybe that's why Jesus said (Matthew 18:6): And whoever welcomes a little child like this in My name welcomes Me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Was Jesus talking about Gay Men being predators on children? I think so!

Meanwhile, on the question of homosexuality, the fraud in the Vatican says, “Who am I to judge?”

I've missed Pope Benedict, he didn't often mince words and hide behind ambiguities.
The photo's caption says, "Retired Pope Benedict XVI has broken his silence to reaffirm the value of priestly celibacy, co-authoring a bombshell book at the precise moment that Pope Francis is weighing whether to allow married men to be ordained to address the Catholic priest shortage."
While the article says, "In January, Benedict requested that his name be removed as co-author from a book by conservative Guinean Cardinal Robert Sarah defending priestly celibacy."
Asking to have ones name removed as a book's co-author is often treated as a renunciation of the contents of the book, not a reaffirmation of it. Why was this apparent contradiction left completely unaddressed?

(1) Benedict retired. He is not the first Pope to do that. (2) Both popes as far as I know harmonized on the key issues, which are (and please folks love God with your Mind and concentrate here): Temptation is not sin, and a person is not to be judged because they were tempted, and some temptations are convolved with real true love related to God, but even so howsomever, acting on temptation is a weakness and is not fine, and rationalizing it is quite bad, and teaching others to do so is extremely bad. At the same time, whether a given right or wrong is to be legislated is out of the realm of the Pope's authority. As the Philippine cardinal put it, politics is the vocation of the laity.
