New documents filed under seal in federal court include “exculpatory information” about former White House National Security Adviser Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Michael Flynn, according to a report. The documents were filed by the Justice Department on Friday and allegedly include “exonerating evidence” for Flynn, an FBI official familiar with the situation told The Federalist’s Sean Davis. The documents also allegedly show “evidence of malfeasance by the FBI” during its investigation of Flynn and will “reflect poorly” on the FBI. It is not clear when the documents may be unsealed and made available to the public.

Gee. Look what we found. We filed it under "Mark Flynn," not "Mike Flynn" so that's why we didn't find it until the other day. Sorry. Your pals at the FBI.

They spelled Flynn with an 'e" at the end and mis-filed everything

We poor serfs will never be allowed to see the whole report. And the brave, honest, patriotic rank-and file FBI will continue to run roughshod over whoever gets in their crosshairs, aided by the Swamp Critters and their elected bagmen.
Wake me when somebody....ANYBODY.... is charged.

Why is nobody in the country surprised by this "new evidence?" Is it because the FBI, and the prior administration, were all a bunch of liars and treasonous criminals?

Dear Lord, . . . I'll refrain from what I just deleted. Not very Christ like, that.

Sidney Powell is winning, seems ever more likely the Flynn will be found innocent, as it should be.

This affair is wrong in so many says. First off is that Flynn was framed and treated so badly that he took a plea because he had run out of money to defend himself. They left this honorable mad almost destitute. The pain they put him and his family through puts a chill in my bones. Beyond that our country has lost the services of not only an honorable man, but we have lost his wisdom in the support of our country. I call this loss treason.

The members of the FBI responsible should suffer the same economic fate as the good general. Loss of job and all benefits, and no severance pay. Just out the door and good bye.

”According to the FBI official, FBI general counsel Dana Boente led the charge internally against DOJ’s disclosure of the new materials. Boente had personally signed off on one of the surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.”
Boente was promoted to General Counsel by FBI Director Stonewall Wray, the Trump appointee who has done everything possible to prevent the release of documents showing the FBI’s criminal behavior against Trump’s presidency in 2016-17. The fact that Wray is still Director is another depressing indicator that only Trump supporters will be prosecuted.
As to this latest “exculpatory evidence” for Flynn, the federal judge will ignore it as he denies Flynn’s request to withdraw his single guilty plea.

Nothing will come of this. Flynn will not be exonerated. The FBI and DOJ cannot afford to be held responsible for such a miscarriage of justice. They may dismiss the case but that’s it. If individuals are prosecuted for malfeasance, it will open a can of worms that will destroy these two agencies and that is not going to happen. We have seen this song and dance before and the finish is always the same. No one is held accountable. Why should this be any different? Have you been given any indication that our government can police itself? I didn’t think so.

All the doj and fbi and IC people even peripherally involved in this and the Manafort and the Stone persecutions should have their salaries and all their pension taken and used to make those guys whole - and the department's budgets used to make up any shortfall to undo the damage done- without additional budget money for the current fiscal year.. It wouldn't hurt to have some hangings or firing squads too, or at least Nifong the lawyers involved.

Great post #7 and so true. I think we have come to a point where we no longer have fair leadership. So very sad for this once great country.

Once Flynn is exonerated, he'd be a great choice for Inspector General for Intelligence Agencies.

No, #8, still too easy. They need prison time AND loss of all pension and benefits.
