In response to “speculation and social media activity” surrounding President Trump’s questions about new findings during the coronavirus briefing Thursday, RB, the maker of Lysol and Dettol, felt compelled to issue a public service announcement warning against “improper use of disinfectants.” “Due to recent speculation and social media activity, RB (the makers of Lysol and Dettol) has been asked whether internal administration of disinfectants may be appropriate for investigation or use as a treatment for coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2),” reads RB’s PSA issued in response to false claims about Trump’s comments on potential treatment methods

Am I reading that right? The MSM is suggesting "internal administration of disinfectants"...
Great, Ok all you Brain Dead Liberals, just drink Gasoline, it works faster, then light a cigarette!
OR you can read this from the Maker of the products in question:
“As a global leader in health and hygiene products, we must be clear that under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body (through injection, ingestion or any other route).”

I was on a conference call this morning with a physician who clearly has TDS. He's from NYC and was all over this saying "don't drink bleach just because Trump told everyone to do it..." It's amazing how social media, hate, and TDS are so rampant. Shameful at a time when our nation should be coming together.

Lysol is the freak here. They surely have better things to do.
NO ONE suggested taking Lysol internally.
I am amazed at the idiot group think of so called talented human beings.....good grief.

And yet if I remember correctly, with the Ebola outbreak, wasn't bleach part of some aspect of what was successfully administered to a patient?
These anti-Trumpers are deranged. . .

The left-leaning groups seemed to put out meme's about his QUESTION to the guy who's department in Maryland is conducting the tests regarding sunlight and isopropyl alcohol having significant reductions in the virus existing.
Then, he asked if there might be a way to do something similar that would be useful internally, to help people who have conditions resulting from their coronavirus infection.
At NO TIME did he say to ingest anything, but seems the LEFT has made up another thing to blame Trump.
I feel for school-age children who are seeing things and hearing how some adults twist things, particularly if they are teachers doing it. After all, they are learning that you should only walk with the pack, never ask a question that might seem strange, and you should only listen to "experts". But, I think that's part of the whole plan for some.

It is about time these people get sued for their lies. I'm all for free speech, but that does not mean they should be allowed to lie. Were they hoping some Trump followers would actually drink bleach or lysol? Sue them.

These supposed journalists wouldn't recognize sarcasm if it jumped up and kissed them. That was after some journo said to Trump "you are encouraging people to go out in the sun?" Trump said I am not a Dr. the chart showed...... and it went downhill from there.

Two minutes ago I read this post on Facebook from a cousin whom I have been told, my entire life, was "brilliant. (Why can't you be more like him stuff?) He wrote: "Seriously? The “President” suggests investigating the injection or oral administration of disinfectants as a possible treatment for Covid-19? How much more irresponsible can he be? Let the doctors be doctors. I wonder how many people are now going to die from this “brilliant” suggestion?"
To me this is the last 4 years in a nutshell. Outright lies reported by hate filled media types and then repeated by nuts too irresponsible to go to the source and listen to what was actually said. Trump MUST prevail in November. We MUST retake The House and retain The Senate. He is the only one who can pull us out of this shutdown mess and do it quickly. Can you imagine what will happen if whomever or whatever the Democrats finally nominate actually wins?

By creating this false narrative that "Trump wants people to inject disinfectants" the media is obscuring the actual message from the briefing that sunlight and warmer temperatures kill the COVID-19 virus. This means that going outside is healthy and that the virus will be dying as we go through Summer. We can get back to normal sooner. End of message.

Three words. Fish Tank Cleaner. Read the label on your Lysol. I'm pretty sure it says not fit for human consumption and has this little skull and crossbones logo which doesn't mean "Pirate Approved."

My dad had bladder cancer several years ago and one of the treatments was called a bladder wash. It had the tuberculosis germ in it. My husband had prostrate cancer a few years ago and his doctor inserted several 'seeds' in the gland and they were radioactive. So there are some rather unusual and odd treatments for some illnesses that several years ago might have made people wonder if they were crazy ideas. While President Trump did NOT say to drink, inject, snort or otherwise take disinfectant in any form, he did muse about whether some sort of treatment using disinfectant would be useful in treating this virus.

Excuse the second post but how soon do you think we'll be hearing stories about someone dying because they drank bleach or lysol because they heard President Trump say it would cure the virus? I'm thinking before this day is out.

Okay, Trump did not tell anyone to ingest Lysol, but can we all agree it was an odd thing for him to say. No one is perfect, but Trump rambles and everything that comes into his head should not come out of his mouth.

ABC Fake News on the radio today had a report where the talking head said "...on the President's recommendation to inject disinfectants as a cure...."
A total lie. Pure Fake News. ABC is just as evil as CNN and MSNBC.

Heard a story from some Vietnam vets who were piloting Life Flight helicopters. They had to pick up an alcoholic janitor who had locked himself in the cleaning closet and drank Pine-O-Sol. They said the guy threw up all the way to the Med Center, but at least the helicopter smelled clean.
I don't put much past desperate people. Remember the prospective first lady from MA who drank her perfume. Of course, she was a Dem.
