Several lawmakers disregarded new recommendations and did not wear face marks during Thursday's debate on the House floor - disregarding guidelines meant to stop any spread of the coronavirus in the U.S. Capitol. Many lawmakers opened the day's session in accordance: Democratic Rep. Jim McGovern of Massachusetts wore a New England Patriots mask when he spoke on the House floor. Democratic Rep. Kathy Castor of Florida opened the day's legislative session and Father Patrick Conroy wore a yellow mask when he offered the day's prayer.'Give us all patience, especially with one another,’ he prayed of this difficult time. Jordan is a great guy. We are lucky to have him in Congress. The mask is a waste of time. I won't wear one either. If someone doesn't approve, please get back 25 feet.

Personally, I've had enough of mask wearing..............enough. Life is a risk. You can have any immunity to anything if you're never exposed to to anything.

I wore a mask when I had an asthmatic cough, just in case it was something worse, while taking care of my terminally ill and bed-ridden mom. She also had a bed sore, and my sister and I had to change and dress it when her hospice nurse was not available. During that time, we were in close contact, and the last thing we wanted was to have her needlessly suffer from a cold or worse, and we didn't want to spread the bacteria. There was a need to wear a mask and gloves then; I don't see much need in wearing either to the grocery store.

Jordan is an exception, but most of the members of congress should be wearing a mask whenever they are 'working'.. .... Much like the bandits, highwaymen and train robbers of old.

Follow the herd or you will be scorned, belittled, ridiculed and browbeaten. It doesn't matter if the herd are idiots.
I didnt get that herding gene. I feel blessed that I didnt. I never played on teams, I had a lot of trouble in the military, and I prefer to work alone. If everyone else is doing it, its probably stupid and something I should avoid.

I wasn't sure how far Orlando was going to go a few weeks ago (we have Dem mayor) as far as requiring masks so I ordered myself a Trump 2020 bandana. Looks like I won't be forced to use it.

The other day, during the broadcast of the White House Coronavirus Task Force Press Conference, I understood the Surgeon General to say new information indicated that the value of a face mask is to prevent infected persons who are symptom-free from infecting others. In the very early days of the pandemic I heard heard a doctor say that the main value of a face mask is to remind the wearer not to touch his face. So now, not knowing if I am infected, whenever I am out among people, as in grocery stores, I wear a mask. I also wash my hands with soap and water after returning home just in case.

Apparently Nancy Pelosi wiped her runny nose and then put her snotty hand on a podium shared by other Members of Congress, and the media as usual when it comes to a Democrat, simply blew it off.

I wear a mask in public. I am solely responsible for taking care of my elderly mother. She is on dialysis and is very vulnerable. I'm not taking any chances with her. I go to her house 3 times a week to cook her dinner on dialysis days and prepare food for her the other days that she can heat up. I also do all of her shopping. If I didn't do this, she would be in a nursing home, which would currently be a death sentence. I wear a mask not because I'm a sheeple, but because I'm a responsible person.

Did they rebuke Nancy for placing her mask on her neck then wiping her nose with her hand then placing her hand on the podium? Selective rebukes Again!
