An incredible, great, fantastic, wonderful

If the daily White House coronavirus briefings prove nothing else, they demonstrate that President Trump remains the master of the superlative. The leader of what he already calls an incredible, fantastic, great, tremendous, wonderful, phenomenal, and perfect administration has over and over again each afternoon claimed to be the first president ever to do just about anything he is doing.
So the president would be pleased that, in at least one area, he genuinely is making history and doing something no other president has done. His briefings, born out of necessity in a crisis when other forms of communication failed him, have become an unprecedented exercise of the presidential "bully pulpit."

His daily briefings would be even greater if he ditched those two quacks (Fauci/Brix).

“I'm a cheerleader for the country.” BECAUSE the media refuses to appreciate America.
Imagine being in WWII and the media acting like they have now, attacking the president and projecting gloom?
2400 people died at Pearl Harbor. Why weren't we ready for an attack? Why don't we have more carriers and battleships? Why were our ships all collected together? Shouldn't they have been distanced sooner? How are we going to get more planes and pilots? What are we doing to protect the people on our front lines? Why didn't we declare war sooner, even though all the papers were urging not to? Why don't we know where all the Japanese ships are?
Most of the answers to such questions are unknown and unknowable and dwelling on them serves no purpose. In fact, in the middle of a war, many things are NOT known or cannot be shared. Responsible reporters know this and don't ask or dwell on them.
Media today is incompetent, vicious, and focused on propaganda.
The president has taken their stage and is doing their job. It is driving them even more nuts because most people think he is doing it better than they do. That's on top of his presidential duties.

Re: Reply 2 Mega dittoes. Applause.
What purpose serves the Media being the know it all Monday Morning quarterback? They have to defeat President Trump. That's all they wnt anymore. Every day they wake up and ask themselves, "How can I defeat Trump today?"

I agree our President should continue his daily Pressers. But, WHO he has beside him will be very important. First of all, Mike Pence should be there (but please don't make him stand there the whole time you're taking questions, Mr. President), but sitting in the front Row. Get rid of Fauci and Brix. Their time has come and gone! Have others who have something new to tell us, not people who are just giving us the news from last week. Have all of them seated in the front Row! Also, only call on those Reporters who you know will ask questions that are about the subject of the day, not those there to ask a Gotcha question!

I think he should continue to take questions from the hostile reporters. Let the public see how obnoxious and sometimes ridiculous (Tiger King? Big Momma?) they are. It is obvious that some are there not for information but to try to bait him. It never works. And no one can accuse him of not being transparent or, like Obama, calling only on friendly reporters whose questions were probably known in advance.

#2, we don’t have to imagine it - we saw what the media tried to do to Bush after 9/11.

Trump knows exactly what he's doing. Every time a hostile reporter asks a meaningless question, it makes Trump look bigger and the media smaller. No doubt the sparring is boosting viewership too -- and that's good, because more people get to be informed at the source (and because Trump's approval numbers keep going up).

You have to hand it to the President. He's never been shy about telling the msm when to shove it, how, and where. The briefings have been good. He's done a good job of of effectively informing the public of current events while giving the msm plenty of opportunity to make total ar$es of themselves.

Another Hit Job by the National Review! On one hand they give statistics about his presence in the Press Room.
.....then go on in a snide way presenting clearly how much they hold The President of the United States of America Donald J. TRUMP 2020 MAGA 🇺🇸 in disdain!

fta: Pressed on that issue on March 31, he said that critics want him to “give more bad news.” But “I’m not about bad news. I want to give people hope. I want to give people a feeling that we all have a chance.” He added, “I'm a positive person.” He concluded, “I'm a cheerleader for the country.”
I have thought this strategy the best. The msm is nothing but negative. He knows we need the positive, now more than ever. Thank you Mr. President.

The leftist and liberal Democrats and their media minions recognize that President Trump’s corona virus briefings are effective and very informative for the American people. That is why they are trying to get the commercial TV networks to drop live coverage of those Presidential briefings, and only provide the American people with select information filtered by the many leftist and liberal talking heads as they try to manufacture a politicized “hit” job on Trump. It is clear that Trump has to use every opportunity available to him to blow his own horn and to give credit to his scientific task force efforts, as the so-called mainstream (liberal) media is sure not going to give Trump any credit at all.
