On Tuesday night, two very different events took place. The first was President Trump’s State of the Union speech, one that showcased incredibly good news about the state of America today, soaring rhetoric, and moving human interest stories. That’s what this post is about. The other event was the embarrassing Democrat temper tantrum, something that we’ll save for a less uplifting, but perhaps more amusing, post.
What touched the audience most during the speech were the interactions Trump had with his honored guests. There are too many of these interactions to retell for this post, but the following guests were especially moving:
There was Juan Guaido, the true president of Venezuela,

Easily his best speech but the distraction behind him from a spoiled brat speaker of the house (yes, deserved lower case). Reuniting that family during the speech was a fabulous touch. He truly exposed the democrats for what they are. We must remove as many of them as possible in November across America.

Like him or hate him, Trump is a showman! And he added a flair to the SOTU last night. Reuniting a soldier and his family live is a move that will never be topped.

This speech is an example of why Trump WINS. He takes the task and venue at hand and makes it the best it can be. The SOTU was the best it could be, made possible by Trump's guidance of the nation. He defined Presidential. His showmanship, while respectful of the event, was outstanding. His guests were excellently chosen as people that the nation can celebrate but also as a reminder of Trump's great heart and his successes.
As a bonus, you know all that ad money that Bloomberg and Steyer are spending? Trump just outdid them without spending a penny and he actually had something significant to talk about. Mini mike may have to earn another few billion to keep up.

Nasty couldn’t even bring herself to put her hands together for an American icon who is suffering from advanced cancer. What an odious little piece of vermin excrement she is.
She will get her just reward later today when our wonderful amazing president is acquitted and her party implodes.

The contrast between Trump and the Marxists (GOP members of the Marxists included) could not have been clearer. Trump used example, after example, after example of the difference between what the deep state and the Marxist tools destroy and what freedom creates. There is life in freedom and there is death in statism. It's just that simple. Bravo to the president.

Wow! What a speech! I just also read it online because it should be read and studied. I hope some civics teacher (wherever they still teach civics) chooses to make it a part of their lesson plans. It would give young people hope for a bright future, and young people need hope right now that there's going to be a future for them. And parents need hope that there's a future for their children as well.
It doesn't hurt that he mentioned God either.

It is clear now that we have a truly great President. Whatever personal misgivings I had about him are completely gone in terms of how he would actually govern. I'm not just talking about his superior economic moves. What astonishes me is how he continues to show an incredible amount of patience in the face of absurd and petty actions against him, and his respect for our constitution and the proper workings of our government.
He will go down in history as one of our greatest Presidents.

This was quite the night for the President. He did a fine job of highlighted the many great things he has done thus far. The President awarding the Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh was a priceless moment. But, the dims' hate for Limbaugh is so strong, they could not be bothered to get off their dead asses to show some class.
And reminding all that we are one nation under God was a superb moment. Even the cameraman siezed the chance to zoom in on the in God We Trust inscription carved into the wall behind the President.

president Trump should be reminded that two other presidents withstood venom and pure hatred - Abraham Lincoln and Harry Truman. Lincoln was called a hairy ape, mocked by newspaper reporters. Harry Truman was mocked by the media as being short in stature, uncivilized, quick to anger. It was just 40 years after truman's presidency that a popular song was written, looking for another Harry Truman.

The President is growing in the job like no one else I have ever seen. He charges on despite the incredible personal attacks he receives on a daily basis and yet, he is cheerful, gracious and so very kind. His enemies don’t think so because he is holding them accountable for the things they have done not so much against him but because of the things they do to harm the country and its people. He is writing the book on how to be President in the age of vindictiveness that the dems have forced upon us all. I hope that many are learning from him and will pattern their life around the truths that he embraces; love of country, adherence to the Constitution, putting our country first on the world stage, not to bully but them but to encourage other leaders to do the same for their people. He is showing how us how it’s done and I hope potential presidential hopefuls are taking notes.
The more we see of this President the more he grows in stature and the more the democrats shrink. They are the great shrinking party that have abandoned this country as it was founded, ignore the rule of law, allowed corruption and depravity to define them and show the President and his supporters nothing but contempt. We are fighting a cold war with fellow Americans for the soul of this nation and thankfully, we have a general worthy of the task ahead. He is the right man for the job at this time in history. God bless him!

Amazing, put a cape on his shoulders and an S on his chest, a little old lady said, and call him Superman. Fighting for Truth, Justice and the American Way. Donald the Great inspires a nation of Apprentices.
How the Marxists of Lawfare and the Democrats thought they could bring this giant down by Making Ukraine Great Again is beyond belief. Trump stands victorious and with him the USA.

He sure doesn't need Peggy Noonan. Maybe that's what's making her go wobbly.
The peroration was stunning.
