In a phone survey of 712 adults, 28 percent of guys admitted to caring more about the big game than the next leader of the free world, according to a press release from Seton Hall Sports Polls.
Women, by contrast, tackled the question with more of a world view — with only 11 percent saying they’d rather their team score a championship.

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg will not accept political donations if he chooses to officially jump into the presidential race, nor will he take a presidential salary should he win the Democrat nomination and defeat President Trump, according to reports.
Bloomberg’s chief adviser, Howard Wolfson, confirmed this week that Bloomberg, who has a net worth over $50 billion, will not accept political donations, should he formally jump into the presidential race.
“He has never taken a political contribution in his life. He is not about to start,” Wolfson stated. “He cannot be bought.”

An anonymous donor in Savannah, Georgia, who felt very generous this holiday season gave 72 acres of land to a horseback riding facility that works with the disabled.
The group, Horsin’ Around, received the 72 acres from a Savannah businessman who preferred to stay unnamed, WJCL reported.
“We were looking, but not much out there we could afford. A realtor friend of mine put us in touch with a man who owns this property, and he had a heart for disabilities and offered us this land free and clear,” said Jill Stanberry, owner of Horsin’ Around.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized on Friday evening after coming down with the chills and a fever, the high court announced Saturday.
“Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, last night after experiencing chills and fever earlier in the day. She was initially evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. before being transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital for further evaluation and treatment of any possible infection,” Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathleen Arberg said in a statement. “With intravenous antibiotics and fluids, her symptoms have abated and she expects to be released from the hospital as early as Sunday morning.”

Washington - Liberal U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is in a Maryland hospital after suffering from chills and a fever, but is expected to be released on Sunday, the Supreme Court said on Saturday.
Ginsburg has faced several health scares over the past year, including in August, when she underwent radiation therapy for pancreatic cancer.
Ginsburg, 86, began experiencing the symptoms earlier on Friday. She went to a hospital in Washington before being transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore for more evaluations and treatment of any possible infection, the court said.

An Ohio animal rights activist with a history of attacks on people wearing fur has been charged with attempted murder for stabbing a woman wearing fur boots at a church outside Cleveland, police said.

The family of a transgender teen is suing a Minnesota school district for discrimination. The Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose District is accused of mistreating the teen from 2015 to 2017.
“What happened to Matthew was devastating,” said Helene Woods, his mother.
She pulled him from Buffalo Community Middle School in February 2017.
She said this discrimination severely affected his mental health. Woods told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS he was hospitalized several times.
“Matthew suffered immensely,” she said. “There were times when I was not convinced that he was going to live through this, it was very, very bad.”

The FBI lawyer under criminal investigation for allegedly altering a document connected to the surveillance of a Trump adviser was kicked off ex-special counsel Robert Mueller’s team for anti-Trump texts, according to a report Friday.
The New York Times identified Kevin Clinesmith as the former FBI attorney under investigation by U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is probing the origins of the Russia probe.
It was reported Thursday that Mr. Durham is probing whether an FBI lawyer falsified an email that was used to obtain a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court warrant to surveil Mr. Page.
Mr. Clinesmith was the primary FBI attorney assigned to the Russia probe in 2017.

He claims 20,000 climate activists he’s trained will present their own takes on climate change in more than 1,700 locations across the globe. The Climate Reality Project is a non-profit organization. But Biden's further remarks about Graham drew a response on Twitter from Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who wrote that Biden's comments amounted to "a threat to a US Senator," and reminded the former federal prosecutor of "my old mafia cases."
