I haven’t been able to shake this comment from my mind since she made it a couple weeks ago. Maybe it’s because Kamala Harris was my confident early prediction for the Democratic presidential nomination, maybe it’s because I still struggle to understand how someone can be so bad at running a national campaign as she has proven to be, or maybe it’s because I wonder why few people have noticed or drawn attention to this.

There’s something my former CBS News colleague Lesley Stahl said a while back that continues to haunt me. It was something she says President Trump told her, off camera.... She says she told him that his constant bashing of the media was tiresome. “Why are you doing it?” she says she asked him. Parents are speaking out against an influx of pro-LGBTQ children’s books in public schools in Virginia’s Loudoun County, according to the Washington Post.
The books in question, promoting same-sex marriages and same-sex adoption, have been appearing in elementary schools and high schools throughout Northern Virginia. Many parents have called it “sexual propaganda” and “a political agenda.”
The Loudoun County School Board flipped from red to blue in last week’s elections, as Democrats made gains all across the state of Virginia. There is a striking symmetry between the charge that Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia to sway the outcome of the election and the Democrats’ current effort to impeach President Trump. Both involve our relations with countries that Americans do not think of very often, but over which the elites obsess.

Monday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) dismissed a claim of bribery put forth against President Donald Trump in response to Fox News contributor Andrew Napolitano.
Gaetz argued such a case would lack what he deemed an “essential element” to meet the standard of bribery.

Mo Brooks (R-AL) gave his thoughts on a claim made by former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley alleging then-White House chief of staff John Kelly and then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson sought to undermine the will of President Donald Trump.
