When it comes to energy and the environment, the United States ranks a clear number one among the world’s nations. Not only have we increased our energy production, courtesy of fracking, to the point that we are the world’s pre-eminent energy power, we have, at the same time, reduced our pollution and our CO2 emissions (if you think that matters) more than any other country. So when it comes to energy, the U.S. is the undisputed champion. This video by my friend Mark Mathis of the Clear Energy Alliance tells the story beautifully:

Begs the question, why don’t the Greta Thunbergs in the world get onboard their carbon fiber (petroleum) racing yachts and sail them to China and India where the alleged problem is really really bad. Answer: they’d be stretching rope most likely.

There is so much natural gas available due to fracking that NYC went from using almost none to using more than the country of Belgium in under 3 years. They replaced nasty fuel oil with clean natural gas and Scientific American says they are literally saving 40 lives a year with that change.
Frack baby, frack!

#1 that's easy, because China and India will tell the budding little Eco-fascist to go pound sand.

#3, when you say "pound sand", isn't that, for all intents and purposes, "fracking"?

The desperate left looks so foolish, constantly harping that our country is bad. We do so much good for so many people all over the world. But the left, which creates relatively little, constantly bad mouths capitalism, which provides jobs for the people, and is the engine providing most of the income to our treasury. But, that's all the left has. All they can do is promise freebies to the uninformed to get votes.

Oh, yeah? Oh, yeah?
What about all those dying polar bears? They're going EXTINCT - - because of fracking - - and Trump.

I think the author could have rolled in the situation in California with the rolling black outs.

Tony Heller at Realclimatescience.com has videos on youtube (at least until they are banned) that routinely take on the climate scaremongers. He recently showed a chart of world coal usage, and China uses more coal than all other countries COMBINED. Plus they have very little in the way of pollution control, causing their air to be severely dirty and unhealthy.
If fossil fuel usage truly is a problem, then ignoring China in all of the climate treaties renders them completely useless. We could stop burning all "fossil" fuels today, and it wouldn't be noticed.

America is the target of these loons because we, in the past, were very generous with the taxpayers' money in supporting the various greenies around the world. Donald Trump is wiser than Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc. and see these people for the lazy panhandlers that they are, especially the members of the EU. I don't blame Greta personally because the girl has obvious mental problems and seems to be genuinely afraid of the world falling apart under her feet. The fault lies with the conniving hucksters who see free money and are clawing to get it. As for China and India, they are in a tight race with the US for world economic domination and are not about to let a little thing like grants to unemployed scientists for research into a fantasy stop them.

Right now, China is building 500 new coal fired plants in places like Vietnam, Pakistan, Egypt and sub-Saharan Africa. India, while raw emission numbers are relatively low, is electrifying at a rapid pace and will have the same level of emissions as the entire EU currently has.
The US could go to zero emissions tomorrow and it would have no material effect on temperature. Zilch. Nada.Bupkis.
If the US we

These climate change nuts come here to chastise us not because we're the worlds greatest polluter but because we have an endless supply of useful idiots with plenty of time on their hands to protest.
If the USA followed all of the climate change suggestions being made we'd be well behind the rest of the world in development.
Maybe that's the point.

There is so much common sense spoken here, I weep to think that our city council has totally bought into this green new deal tosh, there is not one conservative voice on the council or running for election in November. We are to be forced to replace all natural gas appliances within in a year of purchasing a new home in the city. It makes no sense when natural gas is so much cleaner and affordable. It will be light years before renewables are even remotely viable as replacement
