A New Low for Democrats?

Original Article

The Democratic Party has descended into a maelstrom of hate. I’ve been around for a while, and I have never seen anything like it. Whenever you think they can’t sink lower, they do. Here are two news items, just from today. A gang of Democrats besieged Mitch McConnell’s house and called for him to be murdered: Far-left demonstrators appeared at Mitch McConnell’s home in Louisville on Monday night and protested the 77-year-old who is recovering from a broken shoulder after he fell. A short clip of the protesters was posted to Twitter by Ben Goldey, a life-long Kentuckian.

Remember that a significant part of the opposition to Trump has been to claim he is unfit to be president, that he is deficient in character. They dismiss his obvious accomplishments by stating his character is disqualifying. Over the past 3+ years, we have seen the Left get more and more crazy and nasty. We already knew they were a party of no accomplishments. People wished BO could have been a good president but he wasn't. This conclusion is not based on policy difference but on the results of his own initiatives. He delivered healthcare that was a disaster and he blatantly lied about what it was. He discovered an unstimulating stimulus and a stagnant economy. He argued for "fair" tax treatment for the poor but his policies did NOT work. He wanted to heal the racial divide. He rabble roused. He sought the end of foreign wars and instead presided over the rise of ISIS and could not deal with them, He wanted to fix the climate and delivered a treaty that would do nothing effective and whose participants utterly fail to meet any of its target goals. BO presided over massive government corruption in the IRS, DOJ, EPA, State Dept, CFPB, Education, and others yet to be exposed. Dem representation was decimated in federal and state government during BO's term. BO was an utter failure as were all the dems that tagged along with him. The only thing the dems might claim to deliver would be a release from Trump's character. Look at what they are serving up; an incredibly toxic stew of anger and hate. They have started to say they are ready for significant aspects of the Country to be in ruins simply to GET RID OF TRUMP. Yet, they cannot clearly enunciate any factual reasons as to why they should feel that way. Sure, they say plenty. But the impeachment vote they took was a clear tell, they have absolutely nothing of substance. If Trump's character is a supposed problem, what should we say about dems and the Left who are continually vile and irrational in a public display that is worse than the streets of San Francisco?

Young people need to understand that this is a new feature of American life. In all times past, never have such efforts been made to overturn the results of a Presidential election. Perhaps the South's secession after Lincoln's election comes close, but they just withdrew rather than try to overturn the election. It is dangerous to speak in superlatives, but as I had a tough graduate prof who cracked the whip as we studied American Presidents and elections in depth, I feel safe in saying that never have we had such a chaotic situation as this. (He was, BTW, the only Republican in the department.) When researching a topic such as the development of the hydrogen bomb, the New York Times and Washington Post were sources high on my list in determining thought trends of the times. In ten years where will a young researcher find truth?

These people are unfit to govern. Its up to the voter to vote them out, but will they be voted out? If not, our 'leaders' are given implicit consent to continue their politics of hate. Nothing will improve as long as they remain in office. Quite the opposite, things will get worse. Just like the article says.

Modern democrats are not graceful losers. They don't know how to lose, like a mature adult. They were, apparently, never allowed to lose as a child. Losing causes them frustration that they don't know how to deal with, so they shift blame to others. That is a trait of childhood. Democrats are immature emotionally. That is why they must not run this country. One only has to watch the House of Representatives to see a whole bunch of cases in point!

In reality, the monster at large is a group of people who are relatively small in number. They consist mainly of the media and DC politicians ... Democrats and a few disaffected Republicans. Along with them include, the on-call paid mobs or miscreants called upon an as needed basis and of course the low IQ's drones from Hollywood. This conglomerate of Leftoids seems huge but are not. However those forces are enough to make the American people recoil in fear. Compare these forces against the large rallies of President Trump. They may have an instant headline and attention of the media but we have good American people who work hard and pay their taxes. We also have the majority of churches, our Veterans and law enforcement at the ready. When President Trump calls out the media, he knows the full extent of their corruption. Take a look at what Washington DC has become with the latest Democrat congress. They went from very bad to pure evil. We know who the bad hombres are what they're doing. I say we take our cue from President Trump and start calling them out by name and exposing them to the world and give them a rating and/or moniker. How about a weekly briefly and call it The Red Flag of Corruption Report. The first and foremost name we should expose is Google and symbolize them as a White Shark. We should also include those Leftists individual liars and haters who think they are so smart like Joe Scarborough, I would make him a worm. Off the cuff, I see three group the Sharks, the Worms and the Piranhas. A piranha would be someone like Jim Acosta or Adam Schiff.

Yesterday my son and I visited Grant's Farm in St Louis. One of the video displays there showed a re-enactment of a political discussion Grant had with his slave owning Father-in-Law. It struck me just how closely the discourse mirrored where we are today. I do believe that we are just a Franz Ferdinand away from a second American Civil War. i also believe the left is doing their best to foment that war. They should be very careful what they wish for. It would end badly for them.

Most Americans are repulsed by the vile words and actions of the Democrats and do not support them. Here we are in the midst of a once-in-a-half-century pandemic, with the economy flattened, millions of people unemployed, and unrest on the streets of our cities. And President-elect Joe Biden says that one of his highest priorities as president will be to reenter the Paris climate accord. President Trump kept his "put America first" promise and pulled the United States out of this Obama-era treaty. Biden wants us back in. Why? Paris is an unmitigated failure. You don't have to take my word for it. National Geographic, a supporter of climate change action, recently ran the numbers and admitted in its recent headline: "Most countries aren't hitting 2030 climate goals."

A set of demands from teachers unions in July, which addressed how to safely reopen schools amid a pandemic, was criticized by The Wall Street Journal editorial board as “political extortion.” The board argued that unions were taking advantage of a health crisis to advance their own ideological agendas and to eliminate competition from charter schools.

President Trump granted a pardon to Michael Flynn, his former national-security adviser, today. Flynn had pled guilty to lying to FBI agents about conversations, during the 2016 transition, with the Russian ambassador about sanctions. Flynn’s pardon should bring to an end one gross violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers, even as it gives rise to groundless accusations of another. Although Flynn had pled guilty, the circumstances of the case had raised serious concerns about whether the government had proceeded properly. The FBI, for example, questioned Flynn even though it did not appear he had violated any law. In May, Attorney General William Barr ordered the case dropped.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
