Former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova is optimistic about the investigation into the origins of the Russia probe, noting that the process is moving at “lightning speed.”Along with his wife and partner, Victoria Toensing, diGenova spoke with Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs about U.S. Attorney John Durham and his examination of the FBI’s Russia inquiry which is now a criminal investigation.(Video: Fox Business)“Is there any reason for me, for everyone watching, for everyone listening to you and Victoria to think that we’re actually going to see the scoundrels who made up the leadership of the Department of Justice and the FBI are going to be held accountable?”

Call me skeptical and define 'accountable'. We have watched Comey, McCabe et al skate so far. It always seems the DOJ when presented with a referral never brings charges, regardless of what these people have done.

I don't care if the case may or may not be strong enough. I want to see these dirtbags have to hire lawyers, mortgage their houses, face financial ruin, and sweat bullets that they might actually do some jail time.

More like moving a Pixie dust speed and Unicorns will be held accountable. Honestly, who believes all of a sudden we move from the current two tiered system of Just-Us to a system of one law applied to everyone equally?

And diGenova said that classified documents would be released Wednesday.
So far, it is Thursday and nothing.
I'd like to believe him.....but, starting to be skeptical of his information.

If some big heads don't roll from this, I don't think the (conservative portion) of the public is just going to say, "We'll get 'em next time." We are past that and have reached critical mass in our demand for equal justice under the law. I'd even say the 2020 election hinges in large measure on what happens with this investigation.

Joe diGenova sounds as crazy as the Democrats at the debates this week. After 2.5 years of Trump appointees opposing both Devin Nunes and his fellow House Repubs seeking documents about the multiple Obama and Hillary scandals as well as obstructing the handful of investigators like John Solomon and Judicial Watch, does anyone believe that the FBI and DoJ are really going to indict any Obama regime officiall?
AG Barr does not have any appetite for actual prosecutions no matter how much evidence he has about the “predicate” or the number of witnesses who come forward. Joe diGenova and his wife Victoria are raising our hopes while Trump and Barr are happy to crush our hopes for equal justice. Cannot understand why, but that’s the ways it is.
And please, after 36 months of waiting for indictments, please don’t offer patience.

Sometimes, the logic of the Apostle Thomas is wise. Like in this case, because when I see, I'll believe.
Or in the words of Mittens Romney, "All hat, no cattle." No wonder the Deep State Coup Plotters continue to try to salvage their dastardly plot in plain sight.

Wake me up the day they are charged and thrown in jail and the key thrown away. Who am I kidding? Laws are only for little people.

Isn't this the same Joe diGenova who told us that there would be breaking news on Wednesday about some of the indictments? I thought so!
I used to like this guy and think he had inside info about what was happening in the background.
I now think he is just full of it !!!

I'll believe it when I see the likes of Comey and others writing their books and giving interviews from jail cells serving forty year sentences for their treasonous acts. I'm old and would like to see one person involved in the coup attempt convicted then I can rest in my grave.

Wasn’t the IG report supposed to have been released in late May? I predict a continued slow walk until past the election. If Trump is re-elected, we’ll see a weak, watered down report with major IC redactions and no referrals for indictments. If a Dem wins, it will all just go away. Color me cynical.
