It was a coup. And if the fedgov won't prosecute and hang the traitors, no matter what their 'name' is, then we the people need to do so, and include the feckless fedgov bureaucrats who refuse to do their job.

I hate to say it but it looks like the fate of the Republic, as we know it, is now resting in the hands of William Barr. He has said that the wheels of justice grind slowly but exceedingly fine. So I am willing to wait as long as in the end Justice prevails and these people are either in prison, require pardons or are financially ruined in the same way that they were willing to destroy all those around them to grasp power. I mention pardons because chaos is a tool of the left and if the right is smart it will end this charade not with fireworks but with calm and deliberate justice rather than the revenge that only harms us further as a people and is just exactly what the left is aiming for. Unity is all important if we the people are to continue to rule ourselves as a free nation.

Like Kimball, I wonder who will get swept up in this and what will happen to them. One thing that seems pretty clear. BO KNEW that investigations were going on. A reasonable and prudent man might have reconsidered the actions that would be taken without VERY serious and solid evidence of a crime, not actions based on hysterical vapors and an absurd and amatuer "dossier". BO inserted a CYA by telling his minions that things should be done "by the book" but that was an ridiculous statement. There IS no book about investigating a presidential candidate or president elect. BO will try to tell us that he was only minimally involved but this was red hot and critical to BO's legacy. You KNOW it received his full attention and probably hands on touch. This WAS a coup attempt of not only Trump but the American People who are the actual head of the government. People like Comey claim Trump unworthy of being president but if the American People wanted to elect Elmer Fudd to the presidency, THAT IS THEIR RIGHT and there is nothing "noble" about Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Yates, Lynch, "deciding" to interfere. Nowhere does it say that if the American people are foolish, the bureaucracy may intervene to save them from themselves. Their actions were treasonous.

It was a coup attempt and that's what we here at Lucianne have always called it. Unlike poster #2, whose opinion I usually respect but in this case I think she's wrong, those, ALL OF THOSE, responsible need to be brought to trial for treason. Remember, it's the left right now saying that no one is above the law and I'm looking at you obama and hillary. And for the record, this isn't the first time the 'rats have tried to overthrow our government, their first coup attempt was after the 2000 election when they tried to undo the results in Florida.

Not a hoax, it was sedition. It was an attempted coup de'etat. These men and women are as criminal as Benedict Arnold and deserve, at MINIMUM, serious prison sentences. If I had my way, a number would be run through a military tribunal and shot.

I think, as usual, small heads will roll. Pity, Hillary and as many of her enablers should be doing life without parole.

AG Barr is doing an excellent job so far but we still don't hear the jingle of handcuffs and leg irons. Obama's presidency has been "tarred" from the beginning with the first theft of three trillion dollars and it continued for eight years. The coup was only the culmination of years of unconstitutional actions and outright crimes. People need to go to trial and it should start from the top. It is obvious that the FBI people erred in their guess that Hillary was going to be the queen, would reward them handsomely for their loyalty and they bet on her. She was the wrong horse and they lost. It's time to pay the price.

IIRC, #3, BO didn’t say the words “by the book” until after the 2016 election a couple of days before he left office. That statement was nothing more than CYA because his spying and investigations had been going on for almost 2 years by that time.

And let's call it like we all know it is: Lightworkers' Deep State Democrats and their media accomplices have all been in on the coup from the beginning. Not one of them has ever believed "Russia!" and not one of them can claim ignorance or innocence. This was a well-planned and conscious attempt to rig a democratic election then overturn the legitimate result. They all knew, because they were the co-conspirators, utterly corrupt after 8 years of anti-American Lightworking. Deplorables do not see why they should be shown the least bit of pity or compassion, and refer to General Washington's view of treason.

Bravo completely agree. Absolutely a coup, a communist revolutionary coup at that. I almost said that this is a pet peeve of mine but that would myself fall into the trap of trivialization. I should say that this is a topic that I am most passionate about because I think it is essential. Also the use of the term “opposition research” is horribly wrong even Dan Bongino has used it and recently referred to the slanderous fabrication known as the Steele dossier as “information.’ Legitimate vetting of the opposition is a positive part of the process, but the manufacture of lies isn't the same thing. They get to us and we don’t even know it. Even when our guard is up we still fall for it. Imagine the effect of propaganda when it fits preconceptions and reinforces your point of view. Hoax is a euphemism. It was a coup d'etat.

I heard Rush today, explaining how this is not a hoax. It never was a hoax. The media has helped call it that. It IS a coup, an attempted peaceful takeover of the government by petty thieves aka Democrats. They are not finished yet; and they will do it again. You can bet on that. It could not have been any more deliberate if they had worn jackboots and carried rifles!!
