The Tea Party is back!

President Trump has our economy booming. Unemployment claims are at an unprecedented 50-year-low. There are more jobs available than there are workers to fill them. Yet every Democrat presidential candidate is on a mad dash to socialism. If a Democrat is elected president in 2020, we will be thrust back to the depressing days of Obama´s failed economy: record-high numbers of Americans on food stamps, unemployment, and disability. Democrats are like drug-dealers seeking to insidiously addict Americans to government dependency solely to control their lives, behavior, and voting loyalty.

Politicians have a simple charge, do what you promised when you ran for office. We have the responsibility to ask them the right questions and get their committed answers.
One of the questions I have is, what can the Republican party do (not dem crazy stuff) for Blacks and other minorities? If all that is needed is opportunities for good jobs, that´s great. That´s good for all of us. But if there is something else, I´d like to hear about it. One thing was trying to address criminal sentencing issues. I realize there are mixed feelings about that but it´s an example of something that was received positively.
Despite Lloyd´s assurances of the Tea Party not being racist, that won´t matter. The dems and their media will pull out old meme´s that were never proven and act as if it is factual. They are doing it with Trump and his supporters now. They are smear merchants. It is about all they are good at. And as pointed out, dems and media are more insane now than they were in the past.
It´s going to be an UGLY campaign. Dems will do 100 nasty things and it will be ignored. We will make one slight misstatement and it will be hammered incessantly. If we make no mistakes, the media will make something up.
All we can do is be ready to strike back clearly and HARD.

I met Lloyd Marcus at a TEA Party rally in 2010. He´s an honest-to God American conservative patriot. If he´s behind the attempted resurrection of the TEA Party, I´m with him! God knows we need a real Conservative voice in Washington. The Ryan wing of the Republican Party is nothing more than Democrat Light, (with Rodney King as their champion. Can´t we all just get along?) Go get ´em, Lloyd - and get us MOVING!

The Tea Party never left. They now call us deploreables, Trump supporters, extreme with adjectives, etc. You will find us at all the Trump rallies.

Absolutely not. I wish Lloyd Marcus the best, but the Tea Party became a bigger problem than the GOP E and Democrats put together. It was easily co-opted from the beginning, key people behind its largest groups created jobs for themselves and made millions. The triumph of Rep. Dave Brat who unseated Eric Cantor is often attributed to the Tea Party--but they had zero to do with it. In fact the biggest TP group in terms of money raised (for itself) rejected him, didn´t give him a penny. Key Beltway insiders and profiteers took over TP workings, for years lied to desperate Americans who thought they were helping to elect good people. Some of the most vicious profiteers--who are still around--opened deceptive PACs which funneled millions from small donors that never went to help candidates. I understand Lloyd Marcus was associated with Tea Party Express in the past. That was fortunate for TP Express financial coffers, but not for ordinary patriotic Americans. TP Express is a despicable group. The other day I was horrified to receive a fundraising phone call from them. The TP was the reason for the loss of the grassroots candidate in the 2014 Mississippi GOP primary. The Establishment beat it to a pulp.

Actually, I meant to say support the Tea Party in your area by attending the nearest rally.
Some may be disillusioned, but considering the constant attacks by the propaganda media and the suppression by the IRS, it was very hard for the Tea Parties to ever really flourish and grow. That was exactly their goal.
Keep in mind that wherever Christians and conservatives dare to exercise their 1st Amendment rights in public, the left may resort to any number of despicable tactics against us... be prepared.

I used to go to TEA party rallies. Even bought a Gadsden flag to fly outside my house. But then I started noticing a pattern. More and more the attendees were old people with their lawn chairs who had nothing better to do. Mostly nice, but not fighters.
The speakers were all talking head politicians who talked a lot but said little more than vague platitudes. Never anything concrete. The one that ended it for me said she would be a good steward of our tax dollars. She missed the point. Stop taking out tax dollars!

"Record-high numbers of Americans on food stamps"
Let´s correct that. Way too many are not Americans or citizens claiming not only food assistance, but free healthcare and housing.

Demonrats are really communists. Seditionists too.
Compare PT´s economy to the Kenyan´s. PT wins hands down.
As for drug dealers and drug runners, I still suspect demonrats are cashing in on it.

FTA: ~~"Please allow me to address Democrats´ and fake news media´s despicable hate-generating lie that says the Tea Party and Trump are racist. I am a proud black American who attended over 500 Tea Party rallies nationwide. I was showered with patriot love and appreciation. Trump has an excellent record of hiring blacks. Blacks are experiencing unprecedented prosperity under Trump — historic low unemployment.
Brother and sister Americans who love our country, let´s join together to save America by keeping Trump in the White House. Please sign on to participate in the April 15th Stop Socialism Choose Freedom Rallies."~~
God Bless You Lloyd!!

I´m sure ready to see the republican party done away with. To many traitors that are trying to sabotage president Trump. Some of them that come to mind are the late John McCain, Paul Ryan. John Kasich, Jeff Flake. Mitt Romney, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush and I´m sure there are many more. Had Paul Ryan supported Trump we may have been able to get the wall built but seeing as he didn´t we are projected to have over 1,000,000 illegal aliens flood into this country this year alone. Either conservatives start supporting Trump or we are going to loose our country and just voting in establishment republicans won´t change that.

I must have missed the memo that we were gone. We didn´t exactly wake up one day and decide we wanted more taxes.
I couldn´t agree more with #2. Trump scares the begezees out of me when he says he´s going to fix healthcare. Who knows what he´s really thinking but we need government the hell out of healthcare.
Insurance is voluntary socialism and has had much the same effect as if government spread the wealth and costs. The overregulation has prevented competition from offering pay as you go options with only a catastrophic insurance from emerging.
Take a look at cosmetic surgery, skilled surgeons are willing to work for prices people can afford.

I was an avid Tea Partier, founding member of the group in Punta Gorda, FL. Worked hard until I saw that the young lady who kind of took charge over the whole thing was being paid a salary of $600,000/year. That´s not very grass roots. Can´t remember her name but she´s been on TV and I believe has testified to Congress. Anyway, if she´s still around, I´m not. Otherwise I will get involved - again.

The tea party was a really good and inspirational idea, centered on revamping and revising the way we were being taxed. I was excited to be an attendee at the first rallies in this area. But too soon, as the earlier posters stated, the movement was taken over by those who had personal financial and political goals.
That was when I gave up on it. The good ideas still exist, but there won´t be another tea party movement. The concept is tainted and ruined for too many of us.

Lloyd, the TP was never gone. While it remains a morally upright movement, would like to see it come back as the grass-roots no-nonsense entity it started out as. Glad it is still here.
