Former FBI Director James B. Comey says he has nothing to hide, but worries that President Trump’s call to investigate him and others who started the Russia probe would be a “dangerous step.” “I don’t fear it personally. I fear it as a citizen,” Mr. Comey said on CNN Tuesday night. “Investigate what? Investigate that investigations were conducted? What would be the crime you’d be investigating? So it’s a terrible cycle to start. It will just be more of that dangerous step.” The president called again Tuesday for an investigation into the beginnings of the FBI’s counterterrorism probe into

Why didn´t Comey tell Obama that investigating the Trump campaign and presidency was terrible, and also illegal? Instead, Comey and his FBI thugs violated their oaths and the law in order to undermine our election and a duly elected president. Indict him!
More troubling than Comey is this: “The president called again Tuesday for an investigation into the beginnings of the FBI’s counterterrorism probe into the Trump presidential campaign in 2016.” Does “calling for” give AG Barr the option to do nothing, no differently than Sessions? And, “calling for” implies that neither the DoJ nor the FBI have done anything about the Obama and Hillary corruption. Not a good term to use or hear.

I thought it was all about transparency.
Comey stated, "What would be the crime you’d be investigating? So it’s a terrible cycle to start." Isn´t that what they did to DJT? There was no crime but they wasted 2 years and still found nothing.

I´m not sure comie really believes in God.
It would be "terrible" for him to be investigated. As in "terrible swift sword."

What colossal arrogance this man has! We can dream about it, but it will probably not happen in this generation--that the likes of Comey and the FBI cabal along with Hillary the Grifter get a full investigation complete with any charges accruing to those actions.
Teapot Dome? People still talk about it and that was only about real estate. This travesty of justice was about honor and patriotism and the United States Constitution, fer crying out loud.

No, actually it would be wonderful. And my friend who works at the FBI says it is long overdue.

Taking politically-driven actions to deprive a person or persons of their liberty, under the color law, is a cardinal sin for federal senior executives, particularly those in law enforcement leadership positions.

This is rich. . “Investigate what?” ... What would be the crime you’d be investigating?”
The irony is lost on this moron. (And to think he was once head of the FBI. Proving brains and character are not prerequisites to become Director.)

Yep, Comey fears it as a citizen alright. He´d get to feel what it´s like to be hounded and bankrupted. What he considers terrible is that finally, finally, all his corruption and treasonous activity would be outed as well as everyone else involved including names we haven´t heard of yet. Conclusion: A real investigation would finally clean out the FBI and DOJ and all those alphabet agencies of all the treasonous people in it. A win win for America.

Comey knows he is being investigated by Michael Horowitz (DOJIG). The report should be out in a few months and Comey will be recommended for criminal charges. It´s happening Jim.

Yes, it would be terrible for the Country to realize how corrupt their bureaucracies, especially their justice agencies, have become.
But ignoring cancer is not a strategy. You need to find it and cut it out.

Ironically, all the info is out there. It´s just a matter of how it will be documented and then slowly presented to the Country. We´ll never hear the whole story, but my guess is that enough will be revealed to put this putz behind bars for the rest of his life, and to re-elect DJT.
Thank God for Admiral Mike. The FISA warrants had a two hop provision for surveillance. That would take in EVERYONE connected to the Government including the Dark State. And there were too many people involved for this to stay quiet forever. All of that info is out there somewhere....drip,drip,drip.

"Terrible" is a funny way to spell "imperative" when mulling the merit of punishing the cabal that tried first to undermine a legitimate election, then to overthrow the properly elected president of the United States. We´ve been fundamentally transformed into a banana republic, and few seem interesting in reversing this dubious distinction.
