Cory Booker talks frankly about racism as he campaigns, pointing out how the "dark spirit of bigotry" was part of the nation´s founding and urging crowds to speak the truth about prejudice. Kamala Harris bluntly tells supporters that racism is a potent force in society, saying Americans have for too long avoided confronting the "awful, shameless history on race in this country." In 2019, more than a decade after the nation elected its first black president, and halfway through the term of a president who has faced nonstop accusations of racism, the two Democrats are redefining the black presidential candidate.

Why do we need a. Jaweed Kaleem to tell US about Africans? Kamela i Indian crossed with Jamaican Stanford Professor from a slave owning family who was raised in Montreal and earned her credentials under Willie Brown. Booker is accused of Gay MeToo trespasses. I am sticking with Donaldus Maximus, thank you very much.

FTA: "Booker and Harris have forcefully called out President Donald Trump - suggesting he´s racist or outright saying it. In speeches and interviews, they tackle questions of slavery reparations, white supremacy, the toll of mass incarceration of young black men and the drug war on black families."
From the great Thomas Sowell, who happens to be black:
"Civil rights used to be about treating everyone the same. But today some people are so used to special treatment that equal treatment is considered to be discrimination."
and
"It is hard to understand politics if you are hung up on reality. Politicians leave reality to others. What matters in politics is what you can get the voters to believe, whether it bears any resemblance to reality or not."
and
"Politics has turned the lofty ideal of equality into the ugly reality of resentments of other people´s achievements -- and a feeling that the world owes you something, while you owe nobody anything, not even common decency."
and
"If you have always believed that everyone should play by the same rules and be judged by the same standards, that would have gotten you labeled a radical 60 years ago, a liberal 30 years ago and a racist today."
Booker and Harris are trolling for votes, no matter the reality.

If we include Stacy Abrams, we conclude that the "redefined" black presidential candidates must be bitter race-baiting amoral commie jackals. So unlike any prominent black Republican.

OK. Blacks are the most prejudiced and racist people around. They can´t seem to get over it. Let´s confront the awful, shameless history of race in this country. It´s all the demoncrats fault... slavery, the Klan, Jim Crow...
Now can we move on and actually accomplish something?

I am sick to death of hearing why America is bad because of the slavery ending 150 years ago. We did end it and none of us started it. None of my ancestors owned slaves nor benefitted from it. A great, great grandfather was lynched in 1847 by a mob in Southern Illinois because he was an abolitionist. We are all Americans now and let us act like it. Please!

The first political entity, on Earth, ever, anywhere, in all of history, to abolish slavery and make it illegal — before Britain, France, Italy, Japan, China, India, the United States as a whole, and certainly before places in the Islamic world and Africa where it STILL exists, was Vermont in 1777. Which led to slavery ultimately being outlawed by everyone in the Civilized worldwide.
But that doesn’t fit today’s extreme-left new Socialist Democrat narrative, so ... don’t hold your breath waiting for that important story to be told.

After twice electing a half black as President, America is racist??? How many half black leaders have Germany, France. or any of the other European countries elected? Are they racist too? Is the whole earth racist??? Perhaps we should just let it burn up with climate change.
This is totally fake news, these are not "new" black candidates, they are the same old taxing, whiny, racist black candidates of yesteryear. Remember Jesse Jackson? It´s the same old crap he was peddling.

Cory Booker and Kamala Harris are basically using the same tactic: Pander to blacks. What are they going to do to appeal to the other 80-90% of the population? Sad thing is its very possible one of them could win the Democratic nomination. A lot of Democrats think Booker or Harris could be the next Barack Obama. Not sure that´s a good strategy either. Far too many people do not have fond memories of Obama.

Slavery has existed in every country and religion. It was part of “normal” in the past. It isn’t now, in most of the world, but as mentioned above, it is still practiced in some parts. We got rid of it. Do you dwell on having had an infection that was cured long ago? Race baiters and race pimps are still thriving however. Get over it. And good for Vermont.

Their advantage - such as it is - is that they are not that ´black´. I can get darker than they are in the summer and I´m WASP with Swedish and Germanic bloodlines.

Both of them black and incompetent, with no accomplishments or achievements in public life. She´s a ho, and I gather he´s a homosexual... neither one of those is any qualification for public office whatsoever.

So America...
Are you ready to "prove" you´re not Racist
by putting another not ready for prime time Oh2.0
at the helm of the most powerful nation on earth?
Or do you "prove" you´re Racist by kicking
an amateur Oh2.0 to the curb
because you already did the diversity roulette?
Choose wisely.

Been there, done that. Their friend obama has pretty much ensured that this country won´t elect another melanin enriched person for a long freakin time. I hate that it happened, but millions of Americans sought to prove that we´re not a racist nation by electing a novice, with no work experience, no management experience, and no accomplishments to hang his hat on. Even after eight years in office, he´s still as unqualified for the office as when he began his first term. He did nothing for no one but himself. And, he´s liked a lot less now that some people saw the poseur for what he is. Booker and Harris can do something else.

Why, Yes, they have redefined black Presidential candidates in a way that hasn´t been seen before....
At least since Barack 0bama.
They are both merely cheap 0bama clones, except without the ´calming influence´ of a Valerie Jarrett as puppetmaster.

Redefine? They are carbon (pun intended) copies of Barack Obama except for the Dumbo ears. He and Michelle spouted racism and bigotry for eight years. Naturally the LAT filtered that out from their "reporting."

Have we not gone over and over and over about slavery by now? I am sick to death of these African- Americans, blacks, half black-half white, negro, colored folks and their never ending racist inquiries into this never ending topic.

Black candidates don´t need to pander to black voters. Most black voters will vote for a black candidate for no other reason than being black.
I once asked a black acquaintance of mine why he voted for Obama. He looked at me like I was crazy. After a few seconds he said "because he´s black!". Stupid question I guess.

#13 is correct. My son has a Korean friend. When he lifeguards in the summer he is as black as the darkest “black”. We all know that actual skin color has nothing to do with the llower class blacks’ crime and violence. It’s mainly culture with a host of other factors.

When one group votes for Obama by 95% to 5% that is racism, call it for what it is Racist!
You could not get 95% of any group to vote not to cancel Mother’s Day or Christmas!
Catholics even split their vote 52 /48 for Obama!
You can´t deny the racism!
Am I wrong? Absolutely not!

#24 is correct in the comment that blacks will vote for blacks for no reason except race. Consider the example of Colin Powell.
