A constant refrain we now hear is that President Trump’s order to finance the wall is “unconstitutional” and “violates the separation of powers.” That is not the case. Richard H. Pildes, a professor of constitutional law at New York University, wrote on March 14 the clarifying article, “How the Supreme Court Weakened Congress on Emergency Declarations.” Here are his salient points: Trump’s declaration of a national emergency to build the wall derives from that singular authority in the National Emergencies Act (NEA), passed by Congress in l976. Since then, presidents have resorted to the NEA 58 times.

That won´t stop the 4 libtards and possibly the weasel Roberts from voting against Trump. And has RBG actually physically shown uo at the court yet?

Better hurry. South America is about to become a ghost town.

I wish I had the same confidence that this headline heralds. I do not. Securing the border is the pivotal question of whether this country remains sovereign or bows to the globalist agenda. Many of the biggest movers and shakers in this country are open border zealots who are willing to sell this country down the river to advance their own personal agendas whether it be financial or political. Until that wall is built I will remain skeptical because this is the issue on which every other problem in this country hangs. The open border zealots are facing defeat and they will do ANYTHING to prevent building this wall. Businessmen, politicians, criminals are of one mindset, the border must remain open so that they may continue to prosper. If the President is successful, he will have the eternal gratitude of the majority of Americans who understand that open borders are an existential threat to this country. Pray that the President is successful in this endeavor. It is pivotal in the survival of the Republic.

Trump should declare that NO Illegals will be released into the US from this day on. Then, put them in the empty prions in the US. Either that, or have Buses waiting to send them back the day they arrive. I don´t care what the Congress says. I don´t care that the Supreme Court can´t find time to settle some of this mess. They could do it tomorrow if they wanted to! ENOUGH

Not to worry, There Will Be A Wall. If Roberts does another 180, close the entire Southern border.
Send in the Marines if necessary.

It cannot happen soon enough. This invasion must end! The pictures in the news of people scurrying over our borders and being allowed in because of the overcrowding at the border facilities is just plain stupid and an invasion of epic proportions.
We will pay for upkeep and endure the grief of murders, illness, sex trafficking and the diminution of a once great America (in spite of the great actions of our wonderful President!).

They had better approve it, The wall is going up because the people want it, nuts to the Supremes and their political bent. Their job is to enforce the Constitution and they have failed miserably on many occasions. The criminal invaders will be stopped one way or another. The Euros once thought that the muslim invasion was a good thing. Too late they are turning ships full of them away and staying off the streets after dark to avoid rapes and stabbings. It hasn´t worked out for them at all but we still have a chance.

Border security and allowing the illegals to flow in unchecked is central to the democrats strategy. Dim vote-harvesting is how they plan to make all future "elections" close and tilt in their favor. This SCOTUS outcome sounds way too easy. And it will not be this easy.
Frankly, I don´t see what the SCOTUS has to do with this. Do they run the Executive Branch and the Defense Department now?

Agree with the caution stated above. In the meantime, load them all on C-5 Galaxys and promptly return them to South America.

The court will defer for as long as it can after it drops on their doorstep. This case is NOT about The Wall, it is about "abuse of power" by a President to defy the wishes "of the people" as expressed by both chambers of Congress, using "emergency powers" to spend funds that were not specifically appropriated for that purpose.
Nadler, Cummings and others are just waiting for the first "unconstitutional" dollar to be spent. That will be enough to begin the loud process of assembly articles of impeachment to wave around as election season approaches.
It´s not necessary to convict PDT, but to either make him radioactive politically so the public turns on him, or to make any re-election campaign so personally and financially draining that he foregoes trying.
This is why the Uniparty allowed the Dems the majority in the House in ´18.
And what are Sen. Rand Paul and his gang going to argue should it come to impeachment? Gee, his spending is not "unconstitutional" enough? It´s not abusive enough? Do you hear Rand backtracking on his "principles"? I haven´t. And don´t think that´s not part of the game, either..."Republicans" actually in a position to support "conviction" should it come to that.
This is what it is coming to...after all else fails...

People all over the world will be watching how the Supreme Court decides on the border wall, and that includes tens of millions of intending illegal aliens, along with foreign entities and governments that would be pleased as punch to get rid of their excess poor and uneducated populations and move those population groups into the USA regardless of US immigration laws.
So if the Supreme Court effectively stops the erection of an effective borderline barrier, that is deemed necessary by the President, and the Border Patrol, to keep out of the USA, smuggled contraband, dangerous illicit drugs, and millions of future intending illegal aliens, many of them foreign criminals who could never qualify for US visas, common sense dictates that the USA is bound to experience a lot more such international criminal smuggling across the borderline and into the USA.
As we have seen recently, many in the Uniparty Congress do not care that the borderline remains out of control. As the Democrat Uniparty faction considers just about all illegal aliens to be socialist minded natural future Democrat voters by the millions after they are legalized and are handed US voting rights, and is why the Democrats are for amnesty, open borders, have created the sanctuary cities concept that has no grounding in law, and wants all reasonable immigration enforcement efforts against illegal aliens to be abolished. The wimpy Uniparty Republican faction just want to flood the USA with cheap foreign labor by anyway possible.

The wall is being built, as we speak, and President Trump is using the money available from all sources. The paltry sum given to him by the democrats and RINOs is really just a drop in the bucket and won´t stop the wall, no matter what. However, the President will prevail!

I don´t think the Supreme Court should be a life-time appointment. We the People really have no say about the people that are appointed. I understand they are the choice of the president in office, but the justices
are as open to being compromised as anyone else. I give you Justice John Roberts.
