Fox Business host Lou Dobbs criticized Utah Sen. Mitt Romney and other Republican critics of President Donald Trump’s latest comments about late Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain. Speaking with former Reagan’s campaign director Ed Rollins on Wednesday evening about the president’s recent positive polling within the Republican Party, Dobbs gave GOP chairwoman Ronna McDaniel “great credit” before ripping Trump’s GOP critics. WATCH: (Video) “These are better numbers than Reagan had and Nixon had when they both had 49 state victories,” Rollins said, referring to the fact that 78 percent of Republicans are enthusiastic about Trump. “I am not predicting that,

McCain´s claim to fame was his being a POW and he road that to a senatorial sinecure. I voted for him to be POTUS but I likely would have regretted it. He was the quintessential RINO and was lucky he didn´t go to prison for his membership in the Keating Five. He treated others in his party and his VP running mate despicably. May God have mercy on him and forgive his sins but I am not unhappy he is gone.

Too bad we have many more years of enduring McCain´s spawn, Meghan. Her regular outbursts against Trump ensure her employment on "The View."

Forget about the personalities and look at the facts.
As far as Obamacare is concerned, John McCain campaigned to repeal it and told the Trump White House that he would vote to repeal it. Following that McCain at the last minute after discussing the matter with his liberal Democrat buddies in the Senate changed his mind, but never alerted the Trump White House that he decided to vote against the measure thus depriving the Republican Senate leadership of the chance to find additional votes to pass the repeal measure. McCain then in dramatic fashion took to the Senate floor and cast the last vote with a thumbs down jesture. So President Trump certainly has grounds to believe that McCain was disloyal to him and the Republican position. History will show that McCain was a big time RINO.
As far as Meghan McCain is concerned, she is McCain’s daughter and of course is going to defend McCain and his legacy. So to figure out the true story you have to look at the facts.
What McCain did or did not do in North Vietnam about 50 years ago have nothing to do with the current political controversy, involving McCain passing on the bogus anti-Trump dossier that was paid for by Hillary Clinton and her political machine to the FBI and the liberal media that was given to him for covert dissemination because of his known anti-Trump and RINO leanings, or his last minute and obvious anti-Trump vote against the Obamacare repeal.

Speaking the truth isn´t attacking... it´s uncomfortable. To those who are threatened by the truth. Take note of who´s critical.

Trump´s explaining his feelings toward McCain in Lima, OH, yesterday was beneath him, and went over like gas passed loudly in church. Enough has been said. The appropriate answer for PDT next time the topic is raised is "May he rest in peace".

McCain was a despicable person. I couldn´t stand him and his grandstanding. Unfortunately Mitt Romney has replaced him.

Let´s hear from our Viet Nam vets, who were in country at the time. Like me.
After they broke him, McCain cooperated with the North Vietnamese and received special treatment from them.
He was always a traitor to me. He broke his solemn oath of enlistment.
The whole McCain family lives on a lie.

Sorry folks, but this Marine remembers McCain´s imprisonment in NVN. He was not a traitor, did not cooperate, endured physical and mental torture, would not accept an early release from prison because of his father´s position as an Admiral. He stayed with his fellow prisoners until the end. We may not like him for his flip flopping as a Senator, or his disagreements with DJT, but he is an American hero.

Sorry #9:
"McCain had a unique POW experience. Initially, he was taken to the infamous Hanoi Hilton prison camp, where he was interrogated. By McCain’s own account, after three or four days, he cracked. He promised his Vietnamese captors, “I’ll give you military information if you will take me to the hospital.”His Vietnamese capturers soon realized their POW, John Sidney McCain III, came from a well-bred line of American military elites. McCain’s father, John Jr., and grandfather, John Sr., were both full Admirals. A destroyer, the USS John S. McCain, is named after both of them. While his son was held captive in Hanoi, John McCain Jr., from 1968 to 1972, was the Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Pacific Command; Admiral McCain was in charge of all US forces in the Pacific including those fighting in Vietnam. ..The Admiral’s bad boy was used to special treatment and his captors knew that. They were working him.For his part, McCain acknowledges that the Vietnamese rushed him to a hospital, but denies he was given any “special medical treatment.” However….two weeks into his stay at the Vietnamese hospital, the Hanoi press began quoting him. It was not “name rank and serial number, or kill me,” as specified by the military code of conduct. McCain divulged specific military information: he gave the name of the aircraft carrier on which he was based, the number of US pilots that had been lost, the number of aircraft in his flight formation, as well as information about the location of rescue ships…" - Hero John McCain as Phony and Collaborator.

I wish PDT would stop talking about McCain. Sick of hearing about it and it makes Trump look bad, IMO.

Best not to speak ill of the dead even if it is true. Take the high road and don’t give the MSM anything to use against you. They lap this stuff up. Be smart. Don’t give them the ammo to shoot you with.

Dobbs is unwatchable. He is so far in the tank for everything Trump, he cannot see out.
If he ever noted an error or a bad idea or a misstatement by Trump, it might be different.
He doesn´t.
McCain was a bad choice for the GOP in 2008. I opposed him at the time but voted for him despite my reservations about him.
McCain stabbed us in the back on Abominablecare repeal. He will be remembered for that forever. Pure spite.
Trump´s wrath at McCain began when McCain was not sufficiently subservient to him. With Trump everything is about him. He needs to grow out of that. We can continue to dislike McCain.
