President Donald Trump has a low approval rating. He is engaging in bitter Twitter wars and facing metastasizing investigations. But if the election were held today, he’d likely ride to a second term in a huge landslide, according to multiple economic models with strong track records of picking presidential winners and losses. Credit a strong U.S. economy featuring low unemployment, rising wages and low gas prices — along with the historic advantage held by incumbent presidents.

"Low approval rating"? Don´t think so, except maybe with the Dems.

Liberals can´t learn and don´t think. They just react, like Pavlov´s dog. Facts and rational thinking can´t penetrate their conditioning.

The Dems´ greatest hope is to end the Electoral College before November 2020. The enemedia (with their synoptic distortion of the news) used to be their ace up the sleeve; but not even they could deliver the 2016 election to the Hildabeest. They´ve been working feverishly since 2017 to refine their craft and the Democrats´ message. But things are so crazy now, whether they´ve restored enough leverage over public opinion to pull it off this time is anybody´s guess.
That´s why their best hope for 2020 is getting the election to be decided by mob rule.

"All Democrats have to do is flip 100,000 or so votes in three states to win and that’s a very doable thing."
Typical of the dems to take past events and not learn from them or recognize that the situation has changed.
Some Conservatives either did not vote or didn´t vote for Trump because they weren´t sure he was a real Conservative. That question has now been answered decisively.
Trump promised to fire up the economy, he delivered. Minorities who languished under BO, now have jobs. Workers are seeing wage increases for the first time in a long time.
ISIS is squished. Yes, they may still do some damage, but most people see a success.
Trump has solidified his base, he has made inroads into the middle, and even into minorities and with women. Those 2016 100,000 votes are probably more like a million or two in a bunch of states. THAT will be what the dems have to overcome. Further, the places where Trump lost the popular vote were California and New York. No matter their numbers, they are only 2 states and in the ELectoral College they cannot get any stronger than they already were.
Beyond that, the candidates the dems have are a joke. For all her evil faults, Hillary was a strong candidate mostly because she knows the system and she was very determined. She also had name recognition. None of the present members of the smurf village are in her league.
2020 will be a new fight. The one that has the advantage is the one who knows how to adapt on the fly. Trump is unbelievably capable compared to all the dems.
The question is, what will the dems/Left do when they lose again, beaten even worse?

Let me play devil´s advocate here -- Trump hasn´t delivered on any of the key issues he was elected on, and all he has accomplished is to drive the dhimmicrats even more completely psycho, allowed them to completely disrupt the country, enabled a rising swamp of identity politics, and opened the doors to the AOC-Ilhan-Tlaib contingent. Not a proud record as far as I´m concerned. If the Republicans can find a mainstream candidate -- and I don´t mean a never-Trumper or Jeb!-redux -- Trump may not be the candidate in 2020.

There will never be another landslide win for a president. Never.
A "huge" win will be 52% - 48% from this point on.
This nation is way too divided. There will never be another Reagan winning 49 states. There will be Civil War II before there will be a candidate in either party that can fire up the strong majority of voters and get them to sell out their beliefs to vote for him/her!!!

I don´t care what he says on twitter or on live TV. All I care about is his amazing policies to turn this country around from the failed 8 years of wonder boy. I´ll vote for him again. No question about it.

This is from Politico, Folks...
Team Trump across the Potomac is well aware of the multiple forces, especially the non-stop MSN trying to negate our President’s brilliant WH Team. Look at Secretary Pompeo, Secretary Ross, and the respect and economic prosperity America now has around the world. China sees a billionaire businessman and now US President who is no longer in the sharing/buying/giving away of technology and unfair trade policies. So does all of America, except the loony Dems, aka frantic media. Can they possibly get more sinister, conniving and scary... They are who is dividing America.
May their time and hate for America be up soon.

Fox News will be NeverTrump by next year and is already halfway there. The rest of the Enemedia is, as we speak, colluding with the socialist party in whatever devious election fraud schemes they´ve concocted since last time (having gotten away with some outrageous cheating in 2018). Discount the cheating and, yes, it should be a landslide, but we cannot discount the cheating, and in 2020 the cheating will be epic and very, very clever.
That leaves President Trump´s Twitter feed, Rush (and a few others) and whatever online Not-Fake News Deplorables can manage to find. An unfair and quite worrisome disadvantage.
On the other hand, there´s Blexit, Exodus and WalkAway. That could make all the difference.

It will be downright ugly for the next year and a half. You will also see the very worst in human behavior leading up to November 2020. It will come from everywhere, here and abroad. But, we are long since on to this charade by the left. Saul, you left out an important law of power in your rules for radicals book. Law of Power No. 49 - What to do when the right ignores your freeze, marginalize, destroy schtick and beats you at your own game.
While nothing is guaranteed in this world, the President is where he is by Divine Intervention and it will continue to be so.

Let´s see what the Dem´s Presidency got...
1 One has a Spartacus moment
2 Another drinks beer in her kitchen
3 another likes to stand on tables with hands flailing, and get his teeth cleaned on camera. Also likes to skateboard.
4 Another lifts weights and wears a special T-shirt
5 Another thinks a woman should have a man for VP
6 Another is holding out until he has more plugs put in his scalp.
7 Another likes to eat with a comb and throw folders at her staffers.
8 Another worked her way up by going down.
Not much to choose with?

The democrats are a huge clown show but some are downright dangerous because their tired old ideas still appeal to the lazy, the pessimistic, the jealous, the perverts, the malcontents, drug addicts and criminals. Being supported and enriched without much effort by virtue of the labors of others has a wide appeal, especially to the incompetent and the stupid. Keep the powder dry and never let up, they won´t. Donald Trump is the best President of my lifetime and it is worth our while to keep him in office, no matter what it takes.

"Unless the Dems come up with a candidate who is not a joke."
That most certainly is the Democrats´ biggest problem, and it is a problem of their own making. They have an extremely thin bench of possible candidates who are centrist enough to win a general election but who can also survive the identity politics gauntlet they have created for themselves. Witness all the single-note identity candidates, none of whom would stand a chance in the general election. That is why they are desperately testing Biden/Abrams.
Meanwhile, Hillary asset Brazile has been prepositioned at GOP-elite Fox, ready to help her in a debate against the nemesis of the globalist Republican establishment who crossed over and voted for her in 2016. What is that I hear? Is that Hillary giggling behind the curtain, waiting for Biden to tamk?

For me, and of course I can only speak for me, notwithstanding Hannity for the same show for the past two years, it´s NOT the economy, stupid. I did not want Trump but voted against Mrs. Clinton to prevent a full frontal Marxist as president. Since then, for me, Trump is one of the best results president for conservatism we´ve had, including my old fave, Ronald Reagan. I WILL vote FOR him in 2020 and the economy has absolutely nothing to do with my vote.
The clown show of Marxists is irrelevant and is not why there would be a Trump landslide. Marxist voters will vote for anyone not-Trump, period. It doesn´t matter if their candidate served his wife a bowl of baby poop or ate dirt from New Mexico. They will vote for him because Orange Man Bad is their only mental directive even if the economy has made them millionaires. Thought, truth, facts, data are irrelevant to Marxists.

Right now these crazy Demo candidates appear to be a clown car heading for disaster. But is that what´s really going on? Or could this vast array of cuckoo contenders be an intentional, well-thought-out Demo strategy instead?
Think about what´s happening: With 20 wacky candidates, as a party they are getting 2 the normal media saturation WHILE they are sifting the wheat from the chaff as far as candidates´ appeal.
We should be careful about cavalierly predicting a landslide on the horizon. If the Demos are anything, they are united WHEN it counts. They will bond like glue behind the last candidate standing. We should NEVER let our guard down or become complacent. There´s simply too much at risk.

The leftist and liberal Democrat presidential ticket may well not have emerged yet, and when it does will probably knock off all the current Democrat smurfs who are already running.
If Biden runs and gets the Democrat nomination, Biden will probably declare that he will only run for one term because of his advanced age. So watch who the Democrats nominate as Biden’s Vice-Presidential candidate as that politician will be the one that the Democrats plan to run to succeed Biden, and win the Presidency for the two following terms after Biden finishes his one term in office. With the rapidly changing voter demographics now underway in many parts of the USA to the Democrats favor, that plan could will be a winner for the Democrats.

I´d be happy with a repeat of 2016. We win the Electoral College and lose the popular vote of illegal immigrants. Nothing infuriates the demoncraps more than having the wisdom of the Founding Fathers flout their ballot box stuffing.

Do these models consider the cheating we know could be the deciding factor? Also will enough voters figure out that what they see in the fake media is actually fake? Since Trump has delivered on all of the key issues he was elected, what will he come up with this time?

I will vote for Trump because he is the best president of my lifetime. Just the Paris Climate Agreement does it for me. But wait, there is more: 3% GDP growth, #1 in oil production, massive LNG and coal exports, Tax Cuts, manufacturing jobs, steel, iron ore, aluminum, Islamic State defeated, Dakota pipeline, USMCA, KORUS, China Tariffs, my 401k overflowing and more. Problem Is Democrat voter fraud and the Republican castrati senators. But we will Keep America Great with God’s favor.

With all the absurd Dem candidates there does not appear to be one solid candidate to head the Dem ticket in 2020. The Dem party will never give it to Bernie. Biden is yesterday´s news and a 2 time loser. Add the age factor and in my opinion it is unlikely they will nominate him. So who then? Ha-Ha! Isn´t it interesting we have heard nothing from Obama in many many months. Has he gone to ground? Doesn´t he care about politics anymore? Well we all know that yes, of course he does, but he doesn´t want his candidate to announce early and peak too soon. And who might that candidate be, you ask? Well, of course, none other than his wife Michelle. She´s well educated, is a lawyer, is young enough, has written a book, is well loved by Dem women and, drum role please... she is a black female. Couple her with Kennedy look alike O´Rourke and there is your winning ticket for the Dems in 2020. What do you think?
