Voter rights doesn’t mean everyone has right to vote

Felons. Sixteen-year-olds. Noncitizens. Let ’em all vote. Serial killers? Slip them a ballot, too. We’re literally giving away votes. The Democratic-controlled House, driven by partisan zeal, is going to ridiculous lengths to increase its political power by opening up the right to vote to just about any living, breathing human — as long as they vote Democrat. The latest display came on a meaningless Republican resolution with a pretty simple goal — embarrass Democrats into rejecting this language: “It is the sense of Congress that allowing illegal immigrants the right to vote devalues the franchise and diminishes the voting power of United States Citizens.”

The people the dimms allow to vote today will be the same ones who vote them off the island tomorrow.

Where in the Bill of Rights, or our Constitution does it state that we have a RIGHT to vote. We don’t have a RIGHT to vote. We have a DUTY to vote. It is a privilege to vote There is no law saying we have to vote. So drop the “right” bit. It’s not true. But the Dems will use that to convience others they are being denied And to get people to vote for them. Even if they are not citizens of this country. Which then they have no privilege to vote. It’s legally not their country

It would seem that the folks at the Herald are not happy with the Dems. Using words like "meaningless" and "frivolous" to describe the resolution may make them feel better but the result has been very enlightening and very useful going into the election cycle. "Meaningless" and "frivolous"? Hardly.

AI robots should also have the "right" to vote as well. If you think that´s far fetched and ridiculous, there are those people in Minnesota who elected a terrorist AND a rapist, there are those in Congress who are proudly 1/1024th Native American, there are those in Congress who believe Guam could "capsize and submerge" because of the weight of Marines standing on one end, there are those in Congress who believe there is an American flag planted on Mars by American astronauts, there are people in Congress who believe the world will end in twelve years via global warming, there are people in Congress who have stolen valor and were re-elected, there are people in Congress AND the press who believe Putin forced Hillary voters at gun-point with his Vulcan Mind Meld to vote for Trump.
So, you still think Marxists demanding AI robots the vote is too ridiculous even for them?

I am sick and tired of Democrats trying to fix or steal the next election by letting people vote who can´t read or understand English. They will next decide that they can have someone at the voting booth to "help" those poor illegals to vote since they can´t read the ballot. Come on, Republicans, stop this madness before it becomes reality.

Dems, especially recruiting by the newest ones remind me of the Garden of Eden conversation where the serpent asks, ´´Hath God really said...?´´

My wife works with spanish speaking secretaries. She found out of them are citzens, they just hold green cards. The vast majority of illegals here now are not citizens, but possess legal green cards, plus some have fraudulent SS cards.
They refuse to become citizens because it cost too much, maybe 2,000.00.
So a huge amount that voted in our last election were not American citizens.......nice way to steal a country and put in the likes of these anti-semite socialists we have now.

What´s to stop a (black, female, Islamic, Hispanic etc.) minority group of people or paid group of people from running a specific candidate then busloading from polling place to polling place declaring they want the right to vote, registering at each of the polls and voting multiple times for their designated candidate? By the time officials figure the scheme out, it´s too late. The election has been secured by fraud. The elected candidate then always votes to the multi voting minority´s advantage.

I do have a right to have my vote mean something and not have it watered down by invaders.

Clearly the leftist Democrats are out to diminish the status of being a US citizen into irrelevance. The fraudulent mantra of socialist is that everybody is equal, so they can’t have a portion of the population of a nation state being legal qualified to vote, and the other portion not qualified to vote, as that is in itself to the leftists inequality that they can not tolerate.

Dems have no problem limiting my right to bear arms. I think a similar limitation should be made on our right to vote. Perhaps an intelligence test? Literacy test? Mental test? Citizenship test? None of these would be discriminatory, yet the Dems would claim that they are.

If you purge the dead from the roles Pennsylvania will never go blue again. There are more voters in Philly and Pittsburgh than there are citizens living in both those cities and they all vote democrat. The turnout for democrats is 100% or more. What a machine they have.

There are man things supported by Democrats of which no one earlier would have conceived of. Voting by non-citizens is one of them.

At one time, you had to be a landowner to vote. That was because you were the only one with skin in the game. Then, others got the right to vote. Taxes changed a lot of things. People who were not required, or didn´t qualify to pay taxes, began to vote for things that benefited them at the expense of those who paid taxes. Now, we have a corrupt government that, essentially, owns whatever money you make because they can vote to take it from you.
Now, I think voting should be restricted to those who pay taxes. The non-taxpayers don´t have skin in the game and will always vote to take from taxpayers. Of course that is not fair to taxpayers, but for politicians it isn´t about fairness. It´s about votes.
Life is not fair, but man-made unfairness is something that can be changed.
