Michelle Obama says she’s back in therapy as she begins her “transition” to the “next phase” of her life.
I’m not kidding; that’s exactly what People magazine is reporting.
According to the article, during a recent appearance on Jay Shetty’s "On Purpose" podcast, Obama opened up about her current focus on mental health. She revealed that after years in the spotlight — including eight in the White House as first lady — she’s now turning to therapy to help guide her through this personal transition.
“At this phase of my life, I’m in therapy right now because I’m transitioning, you know?” Michelle said, according to the magazine. “I’m 60 years old,

Donald Trump has announced that he’s reopening Alcatraz as a federal prison for the worst of the worst in America. I couldn’t be more delighted, because it’s a wonderful idea at both practical and symbolic levels.
Trump made the announcement on Truth Social:It’s to be hoped that many of the new residents will be the same Tren de Aragua and MS-13 terrorists that the leftists insist remain on American soil.
The media grimly reported the news, although they hastened to add that it won’t be easy to turn the old site into a modern prison. AP is representative of this approach to reporting:

With so much going on these days — on multiple fronts — it's difficult to keep up with it all. On Tuesday alone, there were multiple cabinet secretaries testifying before Congress, President Donald Trump made multiple appearances, commenting on everything from trade to FIFA, the Houthis cried "Uncle!", and India and Pakistan appear primed to bust out into an all-out war.[Snip] But looking back over some of the key moments, one was particularly jaw-dropping: According to Bessent, over one-third of the 1.5 billion payments issued by the Treasury Department in the past year cannot be traced back to a corresponding appropriation. That's 500 million payments (not dollars

Another black-robed tyrant has usurped President Trump’s lawful immigration authorities in a fit of anger and arrogance.
As the Associated Press reported, U.S. District Judge Jamal Whitehead, a Biden judge from Seattle, on Monday ordered the Trump administration to admit around 12,000 refugees into America under a court order partially barring the president’s attempts to suspend the nation’s refugee admissions program. At the same time, he ignored the possibility that these refugees could pose a threat to America.
“This Court will not entertain the Government’s result-oriented rewriting of a judicial order that clearly says what it says,”

Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas appeared to hint that college graduates should be ready to “use a chair” as a weapon during a Sunday commencement address.
Crockett gave the advice to seniors graduating from Tougaloo College, a historically black college located in Jackson, Mississippi, during a roughly 20-minute speech posted on her YouTube page, according to WTJV.com. Crockett told the graduates that they should be ready to use the chairs on people who tell them they “don’t belong.” “There are going to be people that tell you that you don’t belong, and I am here to tell you over and over and over that you absolutely belong,” Crockett said.

Some cities have canceled or severely downplayed Cinco de Mayo events for fear of ICE raids and deportations.
Speaking with CNN on Monday, Chicago resident Hector Escobar, president of the Casa Puebla and Cermak Road Chamber of Commerce, said that people in his community are “very scared” of gathering in public with some even considering going back to Mexico.
“Our people are very scared,” he said. “Honestly, they’re saying they don’t want to go to work. They have to go to work because they have to feed their families. So, if they both were working, now one person is working.”

Newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney told President Donald Trump that Canada is “not for sale” during a meeting in the Oval Office on Tuesday.
Asked by a reporter about his repeated suggestions that Canada could become the United States’s 51st state, Trump said, “I still believe that, but … it takes two to tango.”
Trump suggested there would be a “lot of advantages” if Canada were to join the U.S., including a “massive tax cut” for Canadians.
“I’m a real estate developer at heart,” he said. “When you get rid of that artificially drawn line

Former first lady Jill Biden landed a new gig at a California-based think tank following her departure from public life.
The Milken Institute announced late last month that it launched a new women’s health network and Biden would serve as its chair.
“A renowned champion for women’s health, Dr. Biden will play an important role in galvanizing participation, collaboration, and shared action in the Women’s Health Network to improve women’s health and wellbeing,” the statement announcing the initiative said. “This appointment follows Dr. Biden’s leadership on the White House Initiative on Women’s Health Research, a first-of-its-kind effort that fundamentally changed how our nation approaches and funds research on women’s health.”

Three GOP members of Congress are demanding answers as to why Judge James Boasberg, Chief Justice of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, keeps getting assigned to cases having to do with President Donald Trump.
Representatives Jim Jordan (R-OH), Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Chip Roy (R-TX) have sent a letter seeking answers to Angela D. Caesar, the Clerk of the Court for the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
(snip)At issue is whether Boasberg is being assigned to Trump cases on a random basis or not.

The Supreme Court lifted a lower-court judge’s ruling that paused the administration’s ban on mentally unstable people who were uncertain of their gender. The DEI judges (Latino, Lesbian and Black) dissented.
Previously, President Trump stopped allowing transvestites to participate in military service for obvious ‘mission critical’ reasons. A lower court said that was unconstitutional and blocked the ban. The Supreme Court has ruled 6-3 that stopping psychologically unstable trans-identifying people, was within the scope of authority of the commander in chief.O(snip)a lower-court judge’s ruling that had paused the administration’s ban, concluding it was likely unconstitutional and based on distortions of limited research on the subject.

The pharmaceutical industry estimates President Donald Trump’s new drug pricing proposal could cost drug companies as much as $1 trillion over a decade, its largest trade group is telling members of Congress.
The idea, first floated last week by the White House as a way to help pay for the president’s tax cut plan, blindsided the pharmaceutical industry and has prompted a furious lobbying campaign. Specifically, the White House asked House Republicans to tie prices for medicines in the Medicaid program to lower prices foreign countries pay,

As President Donald Trump dismantles the deep state, angry Democrats desperately defend their Jan.6, 2021 Capitol riot narrative but beam with pride that they locked up so many Americans.
Mike Romano, a former federal prosecutor at the Department of Justice (DOJ) Public Integrity Section, testified last week at a hearing rehashing Jan. 6, saying he is “proud” of the prosecutions he handled, that imprisoned people present at the Capitol.“Thanks to the work of our team, the Justice Department charged more than 1,500 people with crimes and obtained criminal convictions against almost 1,300 people,” Romano said. “We ensured that the rioters would face accountability, no matter how short-lived.
