Harvard’s anti-Israel tent camp soaked

Harvard University’s anti-Israel tent encampment was temporarily thwarted overnight — by a slew of sprinklers that flooded protesters’ tents – as demonstrations rocked other campuses across the country. Dozens of sleeping protesters who were trying to catch some shuteye were disturbed when the sprinklers suddenly turned on in the middle of the Ivy League’s Cambridge campus. “As protesters spend their first night in the Harvard Yard encampment, the biggest threat to their stay has not come from administrators or Harvard University police officers, but the Yard’s sprinklers,” the Harvard Crimson student-led paper said early Thursday.

Harvard’s descent into imbecility continues apace. Another proud Western institution of higher learning literally has been turned into a public toilet. I’d rather have my grandchildren went to the local trade school than that Ivy League bastion of doofuses - and I’m a direct descendant of one of the founders of Harvard College.

The lil’ darlings probably never had to mow the family lawn, fix the sprinklers or anything else throughout their coddled upbringing, all that stuff handled by hired help (who didn’t have the opportunity to go to Harvard). If they had ever done any of this work, they would understand how sprinkler timers work.

Obviously, someone in the Harvard leadership failed in their duty to coddle these modern-day-Hitler-youth by not informing the gardening staff to turn off the sprinklers. Next thing you'll forget is to have the catering staff forget to deliver their lunches.

I suggested a couple days ago to call in the Fire Trucks and turn their Hoses on the Private Property that the Losers refuse to leave. I believe they would get moving in a hurry if all of their "stuff", along with their Grungy bodies, were soaked from head to toes. Quit trying to "negotiate" with those Bought and Paid for Rioters. This is private property, School Officials have the right to remove them since they refuse to go nicely into the night. Enough Already!

A snowflake screaming "I can't swim!" could be heard across the campus.

A district judge who previously presided over a woman’s capital murder case recommended last week that the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals overturn Melissa Lucio's 2008 conviction after a district attorney’s office admitted that prosecutors withheld evidence from her defense. Decades after a jury sentenced Lucio to death for the murder of her 2-year-old daughter, the Cameron County district attorney and Lucio’s legal team cosigned court filings that found key evidence, which included interviews with Lucio’s other children, was suppressed by prosecutors at the time of the case.

Pope Francis told CBS News this week that climate change deniers are “stupid” even in the face of compelling evidence of a climate emergency. “Some people are stupid (necios), and stupid even if you show them research, they don’t believe it,” the pontiff told CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell when asked what he would say to the deniers of climate change. “Why? Because they don’t understand the situation, or because of their interests, but climate change exists,” the 87-year-old pope asserted. Pope Francis had never before sat down for an extensive interview, one-on-one, with a U.S. television network during the course of his 11-year pontificate.

President Joe Biden suggested Friday he would have liked to fight former President Donald Trump when they were children, echoing similar rhetoric he has used, fantasizing about a physical confrontation with his rival. During an appearance on Sirius XM’s Howard Stern Show on Friday, Stern and Biden were discussing Biden’s stuttering difficulties as a child when he said he would have liked to meet Trump “head to head” “in the neighborhood.” (X Video) “But by that time, I was over most of the stuttering, but like, for example, you know, I mean, Trump makes fun of me,” Biden said.

U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) had his luggage stolen in San Francisco, California, on Thursday, leaving him without a suit as he addressed an audience that evening. The San Francisco Chronicle reported: Hello to the city, goodbye to your luggage. That was Senatorial candidate Adam Schiff’s rude introduction to San Francisco’s vexing reputation for car burglaries Thursday when thieves swiped the bags from his car while it sat in a downtown parking garage. The heist meant the Democratic congressman got stuck at a fancy dinner party in his shirt sleeves and a hiking vest while everyone else sat in suits.

George Soros and his hard-left acolytes are paying agitators who are fueling the explosion of radical anti-Israel protests at colleges across the country. The protests, which began when students took over Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus lawn last week, have mushroomed nationwide. Copycat tent cities have been set up at colleges including Harvard, Yale, Berkeley in California, the Ohio State University and Emory in Georgia — all of them organized by branches of the Soros-funded Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) — and at some, students have clashed with police.

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan stated that it’s “not clear” that it’s even possible for Israel to have “a credible plan” for an invasion of Rafah that the White House would support. Sullivan said, “[W]e have made clear that our policy in Gaza will be determined by the steps Israel takes, both with respect to facilitating humanitarian assistance that can save lives, and with respect to civilian protection as it conducts its operations. We have also made clear our absolute deep and fundamental concern about a major military operation in Rafah, because we believe, first,

The Biden administration has reportedly abandoned its plans to ban menthol cigarettes after warnings that it could push away some Black voters. The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday the White House dropped its plans for the ban after weighing the potential public health benefits against possible political repercussions. “This rule has garnered historic attention and the public comment period has yielded an immense amount of feedback, including from various elements of the civil rights and criminal justice movement,” Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said in a Friday statement. “It’s clear that there are still more conversations to have

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has raised alarms over evidence suggesting that China is actively attempting to influence and potentially interfere with the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election. This revelation comes despite assurances from Chinese communist President Xi Jinping that his country would not engage in such activities. In an interview with CNN, Blinken expressed concern over the evidence the United States has gathered, per Daily Mail. “We have seen, generally speaking, evidence of attempts to influence and arguably interfere, and we want to make sure that that’s cut off as quickly as possible,” Blinken said.
