Federal Court Overturns West Virginia
Law Protecting Women’s Sports from Male Intrusion

A federal appeals court on Tuesday overturned a West Virginia law that prohibits male athletes from competing in women’s sports in the state, arguing that it violates Title IX, the federal law barring sex-based discrimination in schools. In a 2-1 ruling, the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals allowed transgender-identifying males to participate on women’s sports teams in the state. This was one of several pending lawsuits addressing the issue of male participation in women’s sports, with both sides laying claim to Title IX to support their cases. It’s not just that common sense is dead. In my opinion, it’s evil when divine truth is mocked and adults use a child as a tool for their own twisted agenda. This won’t end until female athletes of all ages in all sports refuse to participate.

So, a single vote is enough to overrule a State Legislature, and do it without citing a single Constitutional provision? I don't believe our Founding Fathers EVER intended it to work this way. That's like a single Barnacle on a great ship's rudder being the final arbiter of the boat's direction.

A college scholarship to today's universities is not worth caving to this lunacy. Nobody would buy tickets to see these freak shows except for the mentally ill parents. Jonathon Turley recently quoted Cicero - "the more laws, the less justice" As a corollary - the more laws the more lawyers. Back in the 60s, I recall my dad commenting that the local university was graduating another class of "ambulance chasers". He was the first I heard suggest that for every new law enacted at least one old law should be eliminated.

So, does this mean that Title IX doesn’t have to rely on whether a person is actually male or female, but is based solely on whether that person claims that identity? What happens to this particular ruling if the person decides later that he doesn’t want to be female any longer, and claims his biological birth identity, or even some non-human identity? It seems, to me, that the court has outrageously decided that normalcy must give way to the whims of the mentally ill or unbalanced, the political agenda driven, or those influenced or indoctrinated by them. The holy scriptures speak of untaught & unstable men twisting them to their own destruction. (2 Peter 3:16) Looks like there is political twisting going on in this court for the purpose of destroying US & our rule of law

Google Censors Trump Ad for Unspecified Reasons 11 replies

I keep telling you about how severe the censorship by Big Tech is, and it is becoming background noise (or background silence?). So let me give you a concrete example: Google just booted this Trump ad that is completely, 100%, verifiably true for unspecified "policy violations." "Policy violations?" I can tell you exactly what the violation is: this ad is targeted at minority voters and it is probably very effective. Google can't have that, can they? We keep being told that Trump and the Republicans depend on foreign "election interference" in order to stay competitive, despite the fact that all sorts of investigations keep disproving it. Did not happen.

File this story in the you-can't-make-this-stuff-up folder. Remember the five Border Patrol agents on horseback who patrolled the Rio Grande River bank in Texas? An adviser to former San Antonio mayor and HUD secretary started a lie on social media that the agents were whipping Haitian migrants as they waded through the Rio Grande toward the Texas shore. It was a hoax to smear Border Patrol agents but the Biden administration fell for it. The agents were taken off their assignment as the lie went viral. The photographer who took the photo used to justify the lie said immediately that the agents were not whipping the migrants. The reins

The U.S. added 175,000 nonfarm payroll jobs in April as the unemployment rate ticked up to 3.9%, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data released Friday. Economists anticipated that the country would add 243,000 jobs in April compared to the 303,000 jobs that were added in initial estimates for March, and that the unemployment rate would remain unchanged at 3.8%, according to Reuters. The job gains accompany recent slow economic growth, with gross domestic product totaling just 1.6% year-over-year in the first quarter of 2024. Inflation has continued to wreak havoc on businesses looking to hire, measuring 3.5% year-over-year in March, up from 3.2%

She cites the British war economy of the Second World War as a potential model. In her opinion, we should introduce this kind of economic system as quickly as possible, as it is the only way we can save our planet.
