O.J. Simpson, the former football great who was accused of and ultimately acquitted of the brutal 1994 slayings of his ex-wife and her friend, has died, according to his family. He was 76.
"On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace," a statement from his family said.
In May 2023, Simpson posted a video on X, then known as Twitter, revealing that he had recently "caught cancer" and "had to do the whole chemo thing."

The commander of a US Navy warship is apparently a not-so-sharpshooter.
A commanding officer of the USS John S. McCain, an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, was mocked online after he was photographed holding an assault weapon with its scope mounted backward as he took aim at a target known as a “killer tomato.”
Cmdr. Cameron Yaste “observes the live-fire exercise event. The ship is in U.S. 7th Fleet conducting routine operations,” read a caption posted by Defense Visual Information Distribution Service alongside an image of him holding up the weapon with the Trijicon VCOG scope installed backward while pointed at a large target balloon.

This afternoon, President Trump shared an image of a 2018 letter from Stormy Daniels on his Truth Social Account.
Above the image of the letter from the porn star, turned darling of the Democrat Party, President Trump wrote:
“LOOK WHAT I JUST FOUND!”
He asked, “WILL THE FAKE NEWS REPORT IT??” Here is what the 2018 letter that Stormy Daniels allegedly sent said, which should be the end of yet another lie that was told over and over again by the media in their effort to destroy him.

Non-profit theater companies across the country would receive a $5 billion taxpayer-funded bailout under a new plan being promoted by a group of Democrats in the Senate. The proposed bailout comes as prominent stages are facing unprecedented financial crises following their embrace of woke identity politics, which has alienated audiences and donors. Among the companies poised to receive the new federal dollars would be New York’s Public Theater, which staged the gruesome stabbing death of President Donald Trump in its infamous 2017 production of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.

One person has been killed and five injured, including children, in a shooting in Washington, D.C., just minutes away from the White House.
At around 6:15 pm, the suspects drove up and fired into a crowd in the Carver Langston neighborhood on Wednesday evening, according to Police Chief Pamela Smith.
Investigators believe the suspects left the car and began shooting at people on the street. They peeled away in a light blue Toyota sedan with no front tags, dark tints and black rims, police say. The vehicle is 'possibly occupied with two shooters inside.'

Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) said Wednesday on CNN’s “King Charles” that former President Donald Trump has “created chaos and suffering in our country that is unimaginable” with his Supreme Court picks who overturned Roe v. Wade.
Booker said, “Donald Trump put on the Supreme Court people that he said his main litmus test was the overturning of Roe v. Wade. That has created chaos and suffering in our country that is unimaginable. Conservative criminal defense attorney and columnist Marina Medvin called it a "devastating Hostage negotiations update" because that's exactly what it is. In the ongoing negotiations between Israel and the Hamas terror organization, Hamas officials now say that "they wouldn’t commit to releasing 40 living hostages but could commit to 40 hostages total, dead or alive."
Medvin added, "Israeli military did not comment on estimates of how many hostages may remain alive."
"Instead, the militant group has been unable to confirm that it has enough civilian hostages to fulfill its end of the deal in the initial phase of the proposed plan," according to the Wall Street Journal.

Biden, the president who is constantly decrying how poisonous the American political arena has become, on Tuesday continued demonizing anyone who disagrees with him by saying MAGA healthcare policies would literally kill millions of U.S. Citizens. Was he actually accusing Republicans of wanting to murder people? You be the judge: BIDEN: My predecessor and his MAGA friends want to — I love the phrase — the — the language they use — they want to [spits out the word angrily] “TERMINATE” the Affordable Care Act.
AUDIENCE: Booo —
BIDEN: “Terminate.” Well, guess what? Killing millions of Americans — taking

Joe Biden's former Chief of Staff and one of his longest-running confidants was caught on a leaked recording ranting against the president's current communications strategy. It represented the latest sign that Democrats are panicking over the prospect of Donald Trump emerging victorious after November's election.
Ronald Klain, who served as Chief of Staff for both Biden's vice presidency and presidency, was unknowingly recorded at a private event in which he launched into an obscenity-filled critique of the current president. Specifically, he claimed that Biden was too focused on mundane "accomplishments" and not on what Americans actually care about.

We live in dangerous times. That is the simple message FBI Director Christopher Wray will deliver Thursday when he warns of an “elevated threat” to U.S. public safety and national security while seeking a budget boost.
Wray is set to tell a House of Representatives panel of just how America can be threatened through the execution an organized terrorist attack similar to the one that killed scores of people at a Russian concert hall last month, FOX News reports. “Looking back over my career in law enforcement, I’d be hard-pressed to think of a time where so many threats to our public safety and national security were so elevated

Disney is arguing it had a First Amendment right to fire 'Mandalorian' actress Gina Carano after she posted tweets that were out-of-step with the trans-rights movement, and an image the company claims was controversial as it pertained to the Holocaust.
Carano sued the House of Mouse in February claiming the company broke the law then it retaliated against her for expressing personal political beliefs.
Attorneys for the mega-entertainment brand filed a motion on Tuesday to dismiss the suit, arguing the company has a 'constitutional right not to associate its artistic expression with Carano's speech.'
