Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) may be infamous for passing gas on live television and allegedly having an affair with a Chinese spy, but his recent social media post accidentally raises new questions about the embattled congressman.
On Friday, Swalwell posted a photo on X/Twitter of his kid's bedroom, which features a Post-It note in the child’s handwriting that reads, “No dad in my room."
I can’t exactly explain why he would want to post such a thing in the first place. He adds no further context, so we have no idea why the child posted the note. But Swalwell made the already bizarre post incredibly creepy

The kid's Post-It is standard fare 'NO PARENTS ALLOWED'. Swalwell's, however, is Bidenesque pervert stuff.

If this puke lived in your house, wouldn't you try to keep him as far away as possible?

Swalwell turned the doorknobs around to confine the kid to his room until such time the kid pees in his pants or Swalwell deems it appropriate to let the kid come out. The "Don't threaten me with a good time", quote is frankly pretty weird. Is there a wife involved?

Only reason to have a lock on the outside is if you want to keep somebody inside. And, the guy is a freakin creep. Typical Ca. whack job.

Am I missing something? That kind of door knob is what's called a Privacy Knob, which as the name implies, means privacy for the person INSIDE the room, which locks the door by turning the little upright projection in the center of the knob. Now, if what we see in this picture is able to lock the door from the OUTSIDE, the knob on the INSIDE must have no keyhole and no mechanism to unlock, an arrangement I have never seen before. Any locksmiths out there to help me understand?

Not to be making any excuses for the jerkweed, but that could be a door leading into the bedroom from a shared "Jack & Jill" bathroom.

Swalwell always reminded me of someone, but I couldn't remember who - until now. I swear he is the spitting image of Agent Smith (the bad guy(s)) in The Matrix trilogy. Not as smart, though.

#7 - Take a look at any domestic bedroom door. There is no "key" hole on the other side as there would be on the front door. The whole door knob assembly had to be reversed for the locking mechanism be on the outside of the door.
#8 - Why would a kid put a "No Dad In My Room" sign on the inside of the bathroom suite door?
Like other posters, I have never seen this in my life. Talk about red flags and sirens signaling child abuse. Not to mention Swallowell's response to the "No Dad" sign with, "Don't threaten me with a good time." That is, indeed, Biden-level creepy.

Not to defend this nasty piece of work and I have no clue how old the child is but we switched the lock around on our nursery door when the kiddos got to the point they were out of the baby bed and into a toddler bed. That freedom was a bit too much for them lol. They would get up in the middle of the night and wander the house. We worried they could possibly get hurt. Just make their room safe and snug and no worries. They would get us an play on their floor at some point and then drag a blankie down and fall asleep on the floor even. My sis did the same with her "night owl wanderer." Toddlers and preschoolers often don't exactly understand danger and consequences well. Plus, we had a couple of times they locked themselves in their rooms which caused some stress.

A "lady friend" of days gone by had her son do something similar...my solution? I just took the whole door off, explained that the WHOLE DANG HOUSE belonged to ME, when HE had his OWN house he could do what he wanted there, until then, My HOUSE, My RULES. I (and his mother) go where we want in this house, when we want...HE on the other hand would need to start asking permission from one of us to go to his room, or leave his room, or go to the bathroom, or leave the bathroom, or open the fridge, or leave the house...or to come back into the house.
After several days, We worked out a deal...he would not enter ANY door without knocking and getting a response, we would knock on his door(once he earned the right to have it rehung by behaving better to his mother) before entering. He got much more respectful to his mother, and even though we broke up, they moved on, still to this day he is respectful of his mother, and he calls me now and then to laugh about similar things that happen with His kids.

Agree, #13. Just last night my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter climbed out of her crib, went into the kitchen and pulled a chair up to the counter in an effort to get at her older brother’s birthday cake. She only managed to pull some of the plastic wrap off but couldn’t reach farther. This morning my daughter found the chair, the loose plastic wrap and her daughter asleep on the living room sofa.
