Asked about his philosophy in life, movie star Harrison Ford said this week that he was "raised a Democrat" and "my moral purpose was being a Democrat." (Snip) Back in 2020, he suggested, "I think it's come to the point where we gotta start talking politics. But we gotta talk about it in a positive way. We gotta regain the middle ground. We're in these ideological enclaves. But the truth is in the middle. Progress is made in the middle."
That same year, Ford called Donald Trump a "son of a b----."

The words “moral” and “democrat” should never appear in the same sentence.

So, he's from Chicago and will be 81 in July.
The Democrats he romanticizes about now are no longer running the party. The Progressives are and they are very far-left from the middle.

It’s always so sad- concerning- to hear massive stupidity. Tell me hairasson, what is the middle ground between cheating and not cheating? Between using public funds to reward your donors and using them for the public good?

Typical harebrained liberal. Blames everybody but himself. Preaches about global warming but lives in a 10,000 square foot house and owns five airplanes and three cars. Talks tough but, when the time came to bear arms in defense of his country, declared himself a conscientious objector.
24-karat gold-plated phony.

At one time actors were just one rung above pimps, whores and pickpockets on the societal ladder.
They have never climbed higher, they just make more money now.
Ford should stick to what he knows -- memorizing words written by people smarter than him and then repeating them when directed to do so.

Harry, when you have one party with an anvil tied to their ankle, jumping off a cliff and the other party standing back from the edge the truth is NOT in the middle.
Especially when the jumper has tied his other ankle to the non-jumper!

Loved his movies but he is an actor. As Jack Warner of Warner Brothers said: The only difference between an actor and Rin Tin Tin is Rin Tin Tin can lick his own private parts.

Sorry, Harry; but your "D" apparently stands for "disconnect" -- as in your affiliation with the Democrats is neither rational, nor connected to any actual ideology. Your admission of that should be an introduction to why you are leaving the party.

I don't think he really understands what he is saying by equating Nature with God. Nature is whatever is natural, while God is supernatural by definition. They can't be compared logically. You either accept God as a matter of faith or you don't. For some reason he thinks he needs to deny this fundamental belief so as to not hurt anyone's feelings. This is the essense of passive nihilism. His allegiance to whatever he thinks "Democrat" means is also symptomatic of someone who only cares about feelings and not about existential truths. Sadly, his beliefs are not uncommon particularly with post-Moderist Romantics.

You're old, ya smell bad and your talent has dried up. No one cares what you think meat puppet and no one ever did. You got a lot of money to play pretend and to show off. You wore clothes someone else made, moved around a movie set by being told where to go, said words someone else wrote for you. No exactly neurosurgery. No one cares what you think and they never did. You are a HAS BEEN.
Besides, no one who is a demoncrap or a rino is cool anymore, and we all know you shallow types are all about being trendy hoes. The hot new thing politically is to be a CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE Harry. Get with the program butt head. You'll have to study the constitution to be one though. It's the hottest new trend.

Anybody who says they were raised a Democrat by FDR generation parents and therefore continue to support that party today which has morphed beyond all recognition, is a political ignoramus. All the old depression era voters are gone but their senior citizen children are still voting for FDR because momma and daddy loved him and he was a democrat. If FDR were alive today he would curse the party they have become.

Not impressed with Harrison Ford when he wanders off the film set. To liken equate nature with God is one of the reasons God is going to severely punish His creation. God said to have no other gods before Him, and He means it.

Nobody cares man. Look in the mirror and give an honest assessment of your party; then someone might listen to you. If you're clueless that your party has gone full marxism you don't deserve to be heard.

I think they hate him so badly because for years, they thought he was one of them. Remember how the oprah talked about him, hillary robbem klinton?
I'll admit I thought he was a dim-0 myself and would not watch any of the tv shows he was on because of that. Then I heard him talk politically and I knew he was just what this country had been needing for decades.

Id like to remind everyone that Harrison Ford also went out of this country to do a speech in France and chose THAT time and arena to bash America. You wont catch him here doing it because he knows the reaction. THAT'S why he claims to be 'non-political.'
