On Feb. 2, Alex Vindman, the driving force of the first impeachment of President Donald Trump, filed suit in a federal court in D.C. against Donald Trump Jr, the former president’s son; Rudy Giuliani, the president’s former personal attorney; Julia Hahn, the former special assistant to the president; and Daniel Scavino Jr, a Trump communications official.
Vindman’s lawsuit alleges the four defendants conspired to intimidate and retaliate against him, in violation of the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871. Here’s what you need to know about Wednesday’s lawsuit.

Mark Wauck has also done some excellent analysis based upon Cleveland’s article:
However, for my money the really interesting part comes toward the end of article when Cleveland discusses the certain ramifications of discovery. In short form, everything that Adam Schiff was able to conceal from the public during the faux impeachment theater will be fair game. That will start with exposing Vindman’s dealings—his conspiracy, if you will—with He Whose Name Must Never Be Mentioned: Eric Ciaramella. Vindman will be deposed, as will Ciaramella and—uh oh!—George Kent.

If it’s true, exactly how is that different from his participation in a conspiracy to do the same and worse to POTUS Trump and his associates? As Mark Steyn says, the process is the punishment. This lawsuit is meant to bleed everyone associated with President Trump and the longer it takes, the more blood that spilled.

Vindman's lawsuit might just turn around and bite him in his very ample posterior.

You know, there are a few things I would rather do than get in a lawsuit with Donald Trump's lawyers.
Remember when the porn star sued him and the porn star had to pay Trump money! That's good lawyering.
I'd rather go swimming with sharks or have to listen to the great speeches of Nancy Pelosi before I even think about suing a Trump.

But, we were assured this guy was tough, war-fighter. Like SO MANY in the Swamp, just another self preening, climber that you would all recognize as the weird kid in High School that was never invited to the party. They ARE NOT your betters. Treat them with respect they so richly DON'T deserve.

True enough that Vindman is a blower, just not of this particular whistle. Like we needed another cross-eyed Communist sympathizer.

Vindman was undoubtedly the kid the others held head down in the toilet and flushed. I learned about that from some male LDotters a few years back.

After reading the article, it seems clear that this "lawsuit" is designed to blunt the Just the News information on the Kent memos.
I suspect Vindman quickly drops this lawsuit, but I would recommend those he has filed suit against file malicious suit against him, which should keep the discovery process open.
Also, remember, it's very likely the House and Senate will be controlled by Republicans in 2023. I certainly hope a few of them are working on what investigations they will open promptly after.
Investigating everything Rep. bull Schiff has done in the past 4 years should be at the top of the list, especially exposing all of the things he kept out of the public view.

If you read the law, and his accusations of what happened...the SAME Law and case can be applied to HIM. As well as sedition, possibly Treason, certainly violations of chain of command and secrecy acts. Using his UNIFORM to do so even though he had been wearing civilian clothes to work for nearly a decade, he changed into his seldom worn uniform for TV/Congressional appearances, then changed back into civvies before returning to the NSC.

I have a long running prayer for my country and her leaders - that TRUTH issue from those in high office, even if they did not intend it. And may our bonds of Faith connect and strengthen we citizens. When the truth comes out - gonna get ugly.

How ironic that a dimokkkrap conspirator should use a statute aimed at stopping dimokkkrap conspirators from practicing corruption to punish a man who is trying to stop dimokkkrap corruptocrats from practicing corruption.
Porky Alex has made quite a career choice: undermining the republic.

This will be 'settled' long before discovery. Among those that will be served with a subpoena and deposed will be Schiff, Piglosi and any other Democrat involved in Vindman's scheme. Too much damage can be done to these people to allow discovery. Arkycide is is Vindman's future now.

FTA: "If two or more persons in any State or Territory conspire to prevent, by force, intimidation, or threat, any person from accepting or holding any office, trust, or place of confidence under the United States, or from discharging any duties thereof; or to induce by like means any officer of the United States to leave any State, district, or place, where his duties as an officer are required to be performed, or to injure him in his person or property on account of his lawful discharge of the duties of his office, or while engaged in the lawful discharge thereof, or to injure his property so as to molest, interrupt, hinder, or impede him in the discharge of his official duties; the party so injured or deprived may have an action for the recovery of damages occasioned by such injury or deprivation, against any one or more of the conspirators."
Doesn't this describe the operation by Piglosi, Schitt, Vindeman and the rest to get rid of Trump?

I seem to remember not too long ago that another WH official threatened to hold foreign aid to a country if it didn't do the WH official's bidding. He even bragged about it on a video. Oh, I think it also involved Ukraine, and, and, I believe the WH official was.....Joe Biden.

It sounds like, thanks to Vindman, the whole truth is going to come out. A lot of people will live to regret that, including Vindman.

Margot Cleveland is the go-to journalist for a subject like this. Porky Alex doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into. Federal discovery is a far cry from Adam Schiff’s coverup mode. Because it will put a spotlight on Hunter Biden and Burisma and the Ukrainian hankypanky caused by Joe Biden’s threat to withhold a billion in aid, this lawsuit has to have Big Guy Joe squirming. And there’s not a thing he can do about it.
