Kyle Rittenhouse’s attorneys allege
that the prosecution hid evidence

During the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, the prosecution argued that Kyle provoked the men who attacked him by waving his gun. To prove this, during the trial, the prosecution gave the defense fuzzy drone footage. There was a great deal of argument about what could be extrapolated from that fuzzy view. It turns out that the prosecution had within its possession a high-quality video that it played for the judge after the trial ended. On this, and other evidentiary grounds, the defense moved for a mistrial with prejudice.

One thing is certain, Kenosha is going to burn regardless of the verdict. The media have shown this is what they want, nay, what they demand and have given a nod and a wink to the feral animals that are just itching to create violent mayhem. If anyone ever deserved to be literally destroyed is the msm in this country. While they are not the only evil, they are the ones stirring the pot of anarchy. When your mindset is entitled destruction, it takes little to strike that match and the media knows this. They are not responsible in their reporting of facts and they allow the most rabid lefties in the country to spew hatred and untruths. They are the enablers of much of the violent and divisive conversation being put out there 24/7 which is irresponsible and reprehensible behavior. Why they still retain licenses to broadcast is unbelievable. They create this toxic and violent atmosphere which breeds unrest, and refuse to give voice to a reasonable response regarding the dreadful violent criminals who destroy and kill without fear of prosecution. If this trial has shown us anything, it is that the division in this country is insurmountable in the climate the media has created. They reject any attempt to present another voice, and have abandoned truth and reason in their strategy of projecting virulent racism against whites. They have turned this case into one that is seeded in racism where none exists. If the left’s strategy is to divide and conquer they are succeeding. If there is violence with little interference by law enforcement which is the scenario we expect, this will only fuel that fire. Expect no call for law and order from Biden or the democrat party. Violence popping up around the country is a crisis they will not let go to waste. Like all good communists, eventually everything leads to violence and death. Democrats have created a perfect storm in this country when they jettisoned equal justice under the law. Buckle up. This will not end well.

Waving a rifle would not provoke any sane man to attack the person doing the waving. That is tantamount to insanity. Why would the prosecution play a clear tape to the judge after the trial? That doesn't even make sense.

This trial should have never taken place. The trial, which should have been about establishing reasonable doubt, became a quest for any sliver of evidence he acted outside the law. That should be established before charges are filed. The weapons charge for instance, nobody bothered to discover that the rifle was never brought across state lines? It never occurred to anybody to round up a tape measure and measure the effing barrel? All video evidence clearly showed that it was self defense, but remember it only had to meet the reasonable doubt criteria. It simply had to go to trial to appease the mob. The judge could have declared a mistrial with prejudice before this last bit of misconduct. I'd like to believe that no prosecutor is that incompetent and that they were handing the judge an "out" and may just have left him a parting gift just in case. He doesn't want to stand alone preferring to have a jury take the heat. In essence what we are seeing is the potential repeal of the second amendment by establishing court precedence caused by the undue influence of a violent mob and the flying monkey media. They are taking our rights, our country by force and the perpetual threat of violent force, by definition terrorism, with the court serving as a shield creating the illusion of following the legal system so we don't catch on and grasp that this is a form of war. Our bloodless political coup has slowly and gradually crossed the line into bloodshed and we need to connect the two.

The judge didn't declare a mistrial because he doesn't want the wrath of the mainstream media focused on himself. For the same reason the jury will probably vote to convict. Any single juror could stop this farce but that would take unusual courage.

I tend to disagree with #5. Rittenhouse will go free AND Kenosha will not burn. It is was not BLM or Antifa that were looting and burning last summer. it was a man called Barak Hussein Mohammed 0bama - the Kenyan Muslim. He now realizes that the red tide that is building is only going to get worse. with such activity. So the order to riot will not go out. I am sticking my neck out. But we shall see.

You want to wave a long gun in Kenosha after the verdict then go total 'Los Angeles Korean on rooftops' to save your businesses against BLM. It's time to unleash the hounds on the communist BLM and anarchist Antifa shoot a few and it will stop. When the game gets serious the mob will stay home. At this point they are protected animals with a license to burn a city down. The outcome will be the same no matter what the verdict is so let the winds blow where they may.

This is like an Onion or Babylon Bee version of "Law and Order." Don't think that Jack McCoy would not have done the same thing. I can hear the dialog, "The law says I have to turn over the evidence, it doesn't say exactly the condition of the evidence." This trial should have ended in a directed verdict, or a mistrial with prejudice. At no point has the prosecution proven any of the crimes it alleges. The evidence simply doesn't support it at all.

Why issue this motion after closing arguments if you knew there was a discrepancy with the videos before the evidentiary phase was concluded, as is evidenced by the reference to the prosecutions video being better quality during the trial? I guess maybe they didn't put the pieces together until now but I doubt that. I am hoping someone can illuminate on this strategy.

The old Deus ex machina...if all else fails. IF the jury returns any guilty verdicts, the judge may declare a mistrial on those counts, likely for retrial. Of course, then the ride starts over for another go. Those expecting the judge to magically step in to save Rittenhouse don't get it. Trials are NEVER about justice; they're about arriving at a decision - in this case by 12 members of the Kenosha community. For the (elected) judge to usurp that favoring Rittenhouse would invite more mayhem, which would be his burden to carry. It isn't going to happen.

State Prosc. has already gotten into the judges bad graces and when he claimed his sketchy attempts were "Good Faith" mistakes, was abruptly called a Liar..."I don't believe you". The gun charge was objected to in October by the defense, citing the full statute, and the prosecutors had to KNOW ever since, if they did not know before, that the barrel was longer than 16", that the entire gun was longer than the statute barred Rittenhouse from possessing. They kept the charge they KNEW was false so that they could frame ALL of their argument as "Rittenhouse should NEVER have been in Kenosha, he was committing a crime by being there, by being out after Curfew,by having a gun. Every other criminal act was a 'continuing criminal escalation', just as if he had committed any other crime while in possession of a firearm". I was wondering why the defense didn't stress that more strongly in the closing, That regardless of what the prosecutor had told them, regardless of the way the prosecutor had tried to falsely sway them..Rittenhouse had EVERY right to be there, it was entirely legal to have the gun,That hundreds of shots were fired over the three nights and NO ONE else charged for that "Recklessness". Even Grosscrotch.. on probation, barred from possessing a firearm, who used it to attack Rittenhouse was NOT charged. I think the judge is waiting to see if the Jury acquits, which will moot the entire issue. Even the last minute ploy of introducing an option of "Lesser charges" to the jury is sketchy, though the judge did say "If he was defending self in any instance, he is innocent of the lesser charge option, As soon as you decide any aspect was self defense...that's it,you are done". I still have some faith in "my fellow americans" and expect the jury to aquit.

Statistics show that many more people are annually killed with only hands and feet, no weapons, than are killed with rifles. "Unarmed" is NOT 'undangerous'. And shooting an unarmed person can easily be self defense.
