Lowville, New York—Lewis County General Hospital will stop delivering babies after September 24 because too many maternity unit workers have resigned over COVID vaccination mandates. That’s according to Lewis County Health System Chief Executive Officer Gerald Cayer, who held a news conference Friday in Lowville. He said 6 employees in the maternity unit resigned rather than get a COVID shot and another 7 are undecided. According to Cayer, the hospital will be unable to safely staff the unit and will pause delivering babies after September 24.(Snip)Cayer said 165 hospital employees have yet to be vaccinated against COVID-19; that’s 27 percent of the workforce.

This will spread across all industries and contribute to the nationwide slowdown. Any day now the vaxxed people will begin leaving due to overwork and because many of them will catch the virus or worse from their shots. No wonder my new motorcycle tires are two weeks late.

Over 150 medical staff were fired for refusing the shot at Methodist Hospital in Houston.
I know someone who was recently in that hospital for pneumonia. It was the worst nursing care they had ever experienced at that hospital. Every nurse on that particular weekend had a strong accent and was difficult to understand, and they were not doing a good job.
These hospitals need to stop their mandates! The smartest people are the ones they are losing. The people they are hiring to replace them are subpar.

Just another plan that was not thought out. We are dealing with an administration with the brain capacity of a gnat. The impact will be stoppage everywhere, food shortages, medical care, etc. All because Obama wants everyone to get the shot. Yes, Obama, Jarrett, Rice and Soros. I did not make a mistake. All four of these evil people really hate us.

Biden's feckless effort to control COVID by imposing the vaccine mandate was a poorly disguised effort to change the subject of his horrific blunder in Afghanistan. The man does not have an honest bone in his body.

What happens if/ when the rest of the hospitals staff refuse the vaccine and also resign? Does the hospital close due to not enough staff? Then. The next nearby hospital must take up the slack. What happens when they experience the same issues? The same problem is also occurring in nursing homes, at home care agencies, and other health related services. The vaccine mandates in health related business is making an already shaky staffing situation even worse.

Forcing people to take a risky, untested vaccine that doesn't work, by threatening their employment, transportation, education, and medical care, is no different than showing up at their homes with a goon squad of enforcers, and holding them on the floor while they get the Fauci Ouchi.

Last year then were hailed as heroes, now the unvaccinated nurses are villains? They survived working with the sick when no one was vaccinated, they can certainly survive now. Mandated vaccines are not for their or anyone else's benefit, it's for the benefit of the drug companies. A year ago I would have rolled my eyes at that statement, now I truly believe it.

In Houston the local news reports everyday of a hospital bed shortage due to the unvaccinated getting covid-19! What they fail to report is that there are beds but no nurses. The Methodist Hospital system fired about 150 nurses and healthcare workers who refused to get the blood clot shot!

As people put down their labor and head to Galt's Gulch...metaphorically speaking. Just as in the novel, the wheels of the economy will grind to a halt as the government pretends it's not happening and enacts even further 'measures'. And as #25 states, this is a purposeful continuation of the Cloward-Piven strategy to crash the system by overwhelming it. Been going on for decades.

First step should have always been: Test for antibodies. People in health care probably already had the bug or were exposed to it and didnt' get sick. If they have antibodies that's it. End of story. They don't need the vax.
Secondly, cover WHY they don't want it. Have these nurses had to deal with infirmities created by the vax? Hospitalizations? Deaths? Have they seen that the highest percentage of people who had covid recovered and they're willing to take their chances???
It's nice having the numbers and all but what kind of mush fills the head of the reporter/journalist that he/she (it?) isn't aware that these factors are part of the story? Of interest to readers?

Sorry, had to revise what I posted previously:
Forcing people to take a risky, untested vaccine with horrible side effects, and one that doesn't work in the first place but actually makes its victims more susceptible to the virus, by threatening their employment, transportation, education, and medical care, and all for a non-crisis whose infection fatality rate is lower than ordinary influenza, is philosophically no different than showing up at their homes with a goon squad of enforcers, and holding them on the floor while they get the Fauci Ouchi.

I just have two observations to make:
First, the shutdown last year really did little to resolve the problems, and the viral transmission had peaked in December which was about the time of the vaccinations onset.
Second: the curent surge in the Delta strain of Covid is peaking right now, and will be receding by the time these mandates set in. Why bother? Nature will take care of it.
Oops. one more thing - I see that the news media is finally reporting that immunity from actual infection with the virus is a lot stronger than the vaccination immunity. They have done much harm to people by contantly inferring that the vaccine is better than a previous infection in generating antibodies/immunity in people. I had a disagreement with a firend who was a nurse concerning this fact. She believed that the t-cells which stimulate/generate the antibodies were superior in activity from a vaccination over a natural immunty from infection. I didn't argue with her. I was a Med Tecn/Clinical Lab Scientist. We are both Octogenarians, and both of sound mind yet. The major difference is she is a Democrat and more likely to be influenced by the media reporting. My agument with her was the confused and misleading reporting on the virus and the vaccine. I have been immunized, so I am neither pro- nor anti-vaccine.

This "terrible" pandemic is a fiction, as far as my eyes can see.
We just returned last night from a 10 day trip to southern Colorado, then north to Wyoming, backpacking, day hiking, then to four (or was it five?) days in Yellowstone, including shopping and dinner in the town of West Yellowstone, because so much of the Yellowstone infrastructure was just shut down. had to go there to eat in a restaurant. Never wore masks, often entered "masks required" buildings in the park, three times in many days were asked to don a mask, and just left that particular building instead.
Life was pretty normal in commercial places, especially outside the park. All the Cody, Wyoming museums and restaurants were entirely normal, almost zero people choosing to wear masks. In the park, perhaps 30% were wearing masks walking around outside in the Old Faithful area, much fewer elsewhere. Pretty sad and a bit bizarre to see people wearing masks outside in brilliant sunshine in the wilderness, albeit with dozens of people viewing a hot spring, or geyser, etc, relatively nearby.
Somehow, these two 70 year olds and our 25 year old nephew managed to escape unscathed from the deadly Fauci-ChiCom virus. Eye roll. We did our best to do NOTHING different, and came very close to that, although staffing shortages had closed many restaurants, or greatly slowed service. Wyoming was, in general, pretty normal. Jackson apparently had a city wide mandate on masks in all buildings. Too much California/Hollyweird influence in that town. About 75% in the Jackson grocery story had masks, not a word to us without them. In a Jackson restaurant, 10% entered with the "mandatory" masks, most ignored the rule. Sad to see little kids being frightened into wearing masks.
It still amazes me how many folks imagine that a random piece of cloth is going to filter out a nanoparticle size virus when it can't filter out a dust particle which is size-wise like a two story house compared to a flea.

Ever hear of "repurposed drugs?" These are drugs already approved for treating a variety of diseases and conditions in the US and around the world. Examples would be Ivermectin and Hydrochloroquine, both of which have decades long histories of safely killing clearing parasites in human beings and animals.
Doctors around the world are reporting Covid patients respond well to these drugs when they are combined with vitamins C and D, zinc, and antibiotics. Covid19 is not what the drugs were initially approved for, but after decades of use, what "new" or troubling side effects have popped up in patients treated with them for Covid19? The "experts" remain vague, which might lead a reasonable person to wonder why they can't give a clear picture of what makes these old drugs so "dangerous."
And why are government bureaucrat docs so dismissive of doctors who treat patients in field? The Biden administration would rather compel Americans to submit to new vaccines they deem safe, yet drag their heels to ensure repurposed drugs NEVER get approved for off label treatments known to work.
Notable doctors trying to help educate the public include Dr. Peter McCullough, who advocates early outpatient treatment, Dr. Harvey Risch of Harvard, and Dr. George Fareed of Yale.

These fascists will lose a lot of money on services, and it will cost them a lot of money to recruit and train replacement staff. Local women (or "people who give birth," in the parlance of our times) will be inconvenienced and perhaps put at risk, and a number of employees in good standing now have to rearrange their lives, and perhaps move. And for what? Vaccine mandates should be flat-out illegal, especially in a nation that pretends to value personal liberty.
