Parents know something is wrong. It’s why they are showing up in droves at school-board meetings across the nation. They are sending a message. They don’t want their children taught that the true founding of America came in 1619, or that America is a systemically racist place, or that most Americans are oppressors. They don’t want their children taught lies. And they are right. Sometimes, these lies go by the name “critical race theory,” a pet project of the left that began, as many bad ideas do, in the academy and has spread in recent years across corporate America and into school curricula. Sometimes the lies are called “anti-racism.”

If you want schools that teach kids to love America and our founding, you'll need to outlaw any teachers union(s), disband the Dept. of Education, return control to the local level, fire about 80% of the alleged teachers out there, disregard any judge that takes their side and follow the model used by private schools. This sort of thing is not going to happen peacefully.

Until you get the communist NEA and the Federal Government out of our schools, and return control to local, this will never happen. CRT is just the latest iteration of the indoctrination that started all the way back in the late 1970s, when Jimmah decided that a federal Dept. of Education was a good idea.
Since this has been the primary vehicle to brainwash at least two full generations against America, expect maximum resistance to any such effort. School indoctrination is the cornerstone to the communist takeover of America. We were warned of this, by the communists, all the way back in the 1950s.

Their dilemma is that if the failures of the black race can not be blamed on systemic racism the only other possible answer is a mirror. They soundly reject two-parent families, serious education, obeying the law and working for a living, habits that have built this country from the ground up.

Love Josh Hawley! The way to fight this scourge in public education is using the justified righteous indignation of parents. They are confronting school boards all around the country as well they should. Keep the pressure firmly on the school board, administration and teachers who buy into this divisive garbage. Be bold, speak out. Post on social media and speak to others about the harm that CRT will do to their children. I don’t believe that Americans realize the power they have individually to make a difference. Use the power given you by the Constitution. Speak up! I am in awe of the parents who have spoken out so eloquently and with such passion. Don’t be cowed by the left. All they have as a strategy is to bully us into silence. No more.

Then be prepared to fire 90% of the Administrators, and 30 - 40% of the teachers.

We've gotta teach our kids that they don't have to give in to politically correct peer pressure. We've gotta show them it's cool to be independent, critical thinkers. How about writing a children's book called, "Somebody's Telling Me that a Dog is a Cat!"
These values can be taught at home BEFORE we release our kids into the swamp muck that is public education today.

Yes, and when I was growing up, public schools did that. With the extreme leftists that are the great majority of today's union teachers, this can't happen. Unless teachers are fired for leftist beliefs, which I don't see happening, the only way to succeed is to keep children away from government schools.

They used to teach 'Civics' but that was abandoned decades ago.

Incidentally Josh, I just spent a weekend in St. Louis. Didn't go touristing much and for sure not after dark. I have a bullet allergy. When checking out my friendly desk clerk told me the Government had re-instated a mask mandate and I needed to wear a mask to check out. Told them to stuff it and don't plan on coming back to see if they did.
Y'all got your work cut out for you son.

How dumb can you be, Josh?
"Public" schools - - those owned, operated, or subsidized by the government - - will never do any such thing. They can't be "reformed." The only answer is to completely remove government from education - - at all levels.
Education is an individual or parent responsibility. The government should play NO role. Wake up, Josh - - and stop making a public fool of yourself.

In comes the Democrats, Now Communists...the self correcting is turned off and the Nasty Communists are turning America into a Schifft Hole. Get a clue folks, until the Communists ARE ELEMINATED, we can't move forward!
