Cincinnati zoo training great

CINCINNATI - Great apes, big cats and other animals are among creatures the Cincinnati zoo is prepping for the coronavirus vaccine later this summer, the zoo said Thursday. The zoo has begun training animals to accept the vaccine voluntarily, similar to training that’s already been done with some animals for treatments such as flu shots, said David Orban, the zoo’s director of animal sciences. (Snip) The training “allows those animals to voluntarily participate in their own preventative health care and eliminates the risks associated with anesthesia,” Orban said.(Snip) Giraffes have also been trained to offer their hooves for critical foot care.

Comments:

Zoos in Oakland and San Diego have been inoculating a variety of animals; zoos in Denver and Wisconsin will begin administering the vaccine soon. The Cincinnati zoo plans to use a New Jersey-based vaccine by Zoetis. Zoetis is an American drug company and the world’s largest producer of medicine and vaccinations for pets and livestock. Once a subsidiary of Pfizer, it is now completely independent after Pfizer spun off its 83% interest in Zoetis.

Shouldn't all dogs and cats be forced to take the vaccine? And a booster too.

Perhaps they can teach the ferals not to shoot everyone next. Probably not, since they have far less grey matter to work with than the average zoo animal does. Chicago already ran up 3 more homicides since noon today - another great start for the latest Shoot-a-palooza.

I'm glad they tested it on a few hundred million human guinea pigs before jabbing the poor apes. The apes didn't have a choice.

Wow. This is sounding more and more like a horror film being brought to life. Has the virus made a jump from humans to animals and I missed it? Or will the Zombie-like reaction embedded in the virus kick in later when the government needs another crisis that must not go to waste? Just kidding, right? The government would never do anything so evil….

If they are being “trained” to accept it, how is it then “voluntary”? Why do the training? Just feed them a tranquilizer and give them the shot. Not that I approve of giving the “vaccine” to animals any more than I approve of giving it to humans. The number of animals killed by the “vaccine” will never be released.

How do you train anything (even people) to take a shot. The people giving the shots are the ones to be trained.

WELLINGTON — The Ohio Republican Party estimates 20,000 to 25,000 people attended the “Save America” rally Saturday. Lorain County Republican Party Chairman David Arredondo said he'd personally estimated about 20,000 people were in attendance at former President Donald Trump’s first rally since leaving office. Arredondo said state Party Chair Bob Paduchik confirmed 20,000 to 25,000 attended the event held near the Lorain County Fairgrounds. He said it was a significant number of people, given the nine day notice attendees had for the event. What other personality--former president, rock star or actor--could pull this kind of crowd together on a short notice?” Arredondo said.

With the creation of June 19th ("Juneteenth") as a federal holiday, Democrats have one more claim to be the party of civil rights and equal opportunity for African Americans, though most Republicans also voted for the holiday. That claim has been promoted for decades by a compliant media, academia and high-profile politicians, but the facts say otherwise. From Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 to the mid-20th century, members of the Democratic Party, dominant in the South due to its opposition to civil and political rights for African Americans, were on the wrong side of civil rights.
