The Associated Press has been accused of lying about whether it knew Hamas maintained a military presence in its Gaza headquarters.Israeli forces destroyed Jala Tower which had been the AP's headquarters in the Palestinian territory for 15 years, and was also where Al Jazeera was based.Politicians and journalists in the United States rushed to condemn the bombing, claiming the Israelis had endangered the lives of the journalists.Israel said it had given the media outlets an hours' warning to get out of the building before the bombing, and that it was a legitimate target because it housed Hamas military forces.

Why would this be surprising? They haven't seen a thing going on around them since Trump came down the escalator. The blind hatred they have for that man has made them completely incapable of seeing any real enemy in or out of the country.

Obviously the AP does not understand the concept of “cover” when conducting intelligence operations as Hamas initiated when they moved their intelligence operation into the AP building. Looks like in the end that tactic did not work out to well for Hamas.

The Associated Press has taken a different tack, using its influential style guide to play down the human drama unfolding at the southern border. While internal Customs and Border Protection documents repeatedly refer to an immigration "surge" at the border, according to records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon, the AP recommends journalists no longer use such descriptions to avoid offense and maintain supposed "neutrality." Other documents, circulated internally throughout Customs and Border Protection in May, instruct officials on processing "the surge of undocumented individuals as efficiently as possible."

U.S. airlines may begin weighing passengers at gates for flights involving smaller aircraft in order to comply with new Federal Aviation Administration rules aimed at addressing the reality that Americans are getting fatter, according to an industry website.“For safety reasons, carriers need to calculate an aircraft’s weight and balance, and it has to be within allowable limits for the plane,” View From The Wing reported last week. “However the assumptions they’ve been using for passengers are outdated. Americans are getting fatter, and the federal government wants airlines to find out how much fatter their passengers have gotten, at least for smaller aircraft.”

For decades engineers have used petroleum to make everyday products. It's still commonly used in everything from rubbers and plastics to chemicals and asphalt. But this useful product comes from crude oil, which is often criticized by activists and experts as harmful to the environment, citing oil spills and fracking incidents. Recent studies from the last decade have shown that petroleum isn't as efficient as some once thought. Now, companies, engineers and scientists aim to replace it with plant-based oils, specifically soybeans. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. recently announced its goal to replace all petroleum-based products with soybean oil by 2040.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A judge has tossed the case against one of 18 people cited in Colorado Springs after a Black Lives Matter protest on Interstate 25, calling it a violation of her free-speech rights. El Paso County Court Senior Judge Stephen Sletta on Wednesday dismissed the lone misdemeanor filed against 21-year-old Molly Avion. In a two-page ruling, he found that the state statute used against her — which makes it illegal to obstruct highways — was overly broad in a way that could chill the exercise of the First Amendment and invite “arbitrary” enforcement.CORRECTIONS*
