During a portion of an interview aired on Thursday’s “NBC Nightly News,” Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) stated that the Biden administration is engaging in a “shell game” on unaccompanied migrant children in Border Patrol custody in Donna, TX by simply moving children from Border Patrol facilities to facilities “next door” that are run by the Department of Health and Human Services.
Cuellar said, “What they’re doing now is they’re moving the kids from the Border Patrol tents over to next door to the HHS facility. With all due respect, it’s all a shell game.”

Congressional Republicans are leading "comprehensive" investigations into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the possibility of an "accidental" leak from a Wuhan lab.
The top Republican on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rogers, R-Wash., wrote to Secretary of State Antony Blinken this week requesting documents to "assist" in their investigation into the origins of COVID-19.(Snip) in a separate probe, Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., penned a letter to Dr. Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), demanding further information on the "cause" of the pandemic.

None of the 10 doctors on the committee that advises the Centers for Disease Control on COVID-19 vaccines would say if they support the CDC removing a world-leading scientist from that committee for opposing a pause that may have spooked Americans off COVID vaccination.(Snip)The reluctance underscores the retaliatory climate CDC communicated when it punished a “world-class” scientist who helped invent methods dramatically improving the very vaccine safety system the CDC uses today. That story The Federalist broke received major media attention, and so has the vaccine hesitancy the agency’s pause seems to have amplified.

In 2016 influential political leaders, activists, and media outlets in Los Angeles said they had a simple solution to homelessness: build more housing. Echoing an argument heard across the country, they claimed that rising rents have thrown people onto the streets and that by directly providing free “permanent supportive housing,” cities can reduce the number of people on the streets and save costs on emergency services.
In response, 77 percent of Los Angeles voters approved a $1.2 billion bond for the construction of 10,000 units for the city’s homeless. That commitment made Los Angeles the most significant testing ground for the “Housing First” approach that has become the dominant policy idea

It’s hard to find a good historical parallel for what America is undergoing. Yes, it’s a revolution, but in key respects one very unlike those with which we’re historically familiar. For one thing, there’s been no sudden seizure of power. Our revolutionaries have slowly percolated their way to the top. But even more curious is the fact that while previous revolutionaries (Snip)all professed love for their countries’ common people, ours accuse them of systemic villainy.
Yet if one shifts the analogical frame, this last curiosity clarifies. America’s current revolution is less like that of France or Russia and more like what the African or Asian lands under British and French

A remarkable display of Alinsky-inspired hubris today from the White House Press Secretary.
“I wanted to provide an update on the situation at our southern border. After four years of an immigration system rooted in destructive and chaotic policies, President Biden is taking the challenge head-on and is building a fair, orderly and humane immigration system; that’s our objective. After coming into office, uh, our administration immediately jumped into action to address the influx of migrants at the border, something that began during -and was exacerbated by- the Trump administration; er, and wanted to provide data, pieces of data, you may have seen but they’ve come out since the last

A juror in the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer found guilty in the 2020 death of George Floyd, failed to disclose that he attended an event attended by Floyd’s relatives last year, raising questions of impartiality, according to legal experts. (Snip)One of the 12 jurors who deliberated at the trial, Brandon Mitchell, a 31-year-old high school basketball coach (Snip) told news outlets in Minneapolis that on Aug. 28 last year, he attended a march in Washington where Floyd’s siblings were present.

A former staffer for Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) continued to pay large sums of money in 2019 to former British spy Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS, the firm that retained Steele for work on a Hillary Clinton-funded misinformation dossier, even as the credibility of both Steele and the claims in his dossier evaporated.
The Democracy Integrity Project (TDIP), a nonprofit operated by former Feinstein staffer Daniel Jones, paid $1,222,714 in 2019 to Bean LLC., the shell company that controls Fusion GPS, and $700,000 to Walsingham Partners Ltd., a British company co-owned by Steele, according to a tax filing.

A new poll has found that a majority of French people support the sentiments expressed in a letter signed by active duty and retired members of the military warning that the country is heading towards a “civil war” caused by failed multiculturalism and attacks on French identity.Around 1,000 servicemembers signed the letter, including 20 retired generals, warning President Emmanuel Macron of “several deadly dangers” threatening France, including “Islamism and the hordes of the banlieue,” a reference to the fractured suburbs around major cities with high crime and immigrant populations.

It’s the most feared conundrum of the professional anti-racist: What if the only way to stop one black genocide is to usher in another?
Woke activists in the U.S. are currently grappling with this exact dilemma.
Next week, the Biden administration is expected to enact a ban on menthol cigarettes, because menthols are genociding black Americans. An estimated 85% of black smokers use menthols, over three times the percentage of whites. Tobacco-related disease kills over 45,000 blacks a year, making it the No. 1 preventable cause of death for black Americans that doesn’t involve Gorilla Glue.
Black health advocates argue that menthols are more addictive and more toxic than regular smokes

Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif claimed he did not know that Israel was behind 200 military airstrikes in Iran until secretary of state John Kerry tipped him off, a new translation of a leaked audiotape reveals.
The New York Times buried the revelation of Kerry’s treasonous behavior deep in a story about the leaked audiotape last week.
Kerry is now the Biden administration’s United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate.
Amid calls for him to resign or be fired, the corporate media and State Department officials stepped up to the plate to defend Kerry, saying Zarif had already heard about Israel’s actions from the media before Kerry blabbed about it.(Snip), Kerry claimed (unconvincingly)
