The square where George Floyd was murdered by ex-Minnesota cop Derek Chauvin now has a sign with special rules for white people. The placard at the entrance of George Floyd Square in Minnesota calls it “a sacred space for community, public grief, and protest,” telling visitors to “honor the space as a place to connect and grieve as caring humans.” But most of the instructions are listed under five orders “for white people in particular.” “Decenter yourself and come to listen, learn, mourn, and witness,” the first bullet points reads, adding, “Remember you are here to support, not to be supported.” “Be mindful

Note to White people -- You're not even allowed to read stories about the sacred George Floyd Square so just move on!

As far as the memory of St. Floyd is concerned - - what I want to know is - - who gets his leftover fentanyl?

I do not need to visit George Floyd Square. I already have a bathroom. Three, in fact.

Why would any sane person want to go into that lawless zone? And for the record, Chauvin didn't "murder" George Floyd.

No thank you. I neither honor, mourn nor grieve for career criminal throwaways such as George Floyd.

That’s not enough. More buildings need to be burned; More statues torn down (to expunge the record of Dimokkkrap responsibility for slavery and racism).
That would be a fitting memorial.

I don't honor criminals who kill themselves with drug overdoses, or respect them. Just another thug that killed himself, and sadly harmed innocent officers who tried to save his life.

I actually have some questions that they could answer;
If St. George did not know that he was using counterfeit money, why did he wad it up and hide it under the seat of his Mercedes when police approached?
Morries Hall [his accomplice] had attempted to pass a counterfeit bill earlier in the same store and to the same clerk, but it was rejected. Why did Mr. Hall think his large erratic drug addict friend could get the same clerk to accept it?
Morries Hall is already in prison charged with Human Trafficking, drugs, and illegal weapons; so why would he plead the 5th amendment and refuse to testify when he had told the press that he wanted to be ''George Floyd's voice'' ?
What happened to the counterfeit money and drugs that were in George Floyd's Mercedes and why were they not seized by police and entered into evidence?
Did George Floyd or Morries Hall know Derick Chauvin or have previous contact with him before this incident?
Why did Morries Hall and George Floyd give false names to the police when questioned?
How does a bouncer for a restaurant that has been closed for months afford a Mercedes SUV and a laundry list of recreational drugs, while also paying child support for multiple children?

Maybe a Floyd Memorial Urinal on the side of the square for those who want to express a differing way of "honoring" this criminal?

I frankly can't imagine why I would ever want to go to Milwaukee for any reason.
If I was forced too my tourist must see list would be too short to include George's Square.

I don't do instructions from racist idiots. I also have no interest in visiting the site where a criminal overdosed himself and died. Even Martin Luther King would be ashamed of this trash.

Why the adoration and honor for a druggie? Surely there are some blacks worthy of the honor.
It is like Obama getting a Nobel prize before he even sat behind the oval office desk.

Do blacks ever honor anything legal, legitimate or decent?

Who paid for this ridiculous sign? The sign might as well say White people not welcome here! Switch the White people to Black and put it at another memorial and see what happens. This sign just widens the racial divisions in the community that people are claiming need to be healed. George Floyd has somehow become some sort of black holy icon role model in the Black community.

The only white people who would be insane enough to go there are self-hating white lie-berals who get some sort of thrill being racially derided and attacked by blacks for their skin color.
All sane white people are staying as far away from that faux religious monument to a massive career criminal and drug addict.

Why are young white kids joining in? Hire a mob is why. They get paid and then buy drugs and get laid. The parents who recognize their daughters and sons on the news need to get very angry.

I had a business gig scheduled for Minneapolis last September. Shortly after the Floyd incident I canceled my trip telling my customers that I would not set foot in any area which was even considering defunding the police. At this point I can’t imagine visiting anywhere in the upper Midwest.

I am pretty close to having to lump all blacks together, just thinking that some are open and some hide their hate of whites while in public. I don't want to do that. When I have a friendly exchange with a black in a store or on the street, I want to think it is a sincere friendly exchange and they aren't thinking of cold clocking me as I walk away . But how do I know? At least locally, everyone acts friendly to each other, whether an elderly gray haired black man or a young guy with corn rows, though it seems black women show more attitude. Maybe they just don't like men... Is everyone just friendlier down south?
