Washington—Doggie doo in the White House? One of President Joe Biden’s dogs apparently deposited the pile of poo in the hallway outside the Diplomatic Reception Room, just off the South Lawn, on Wednesday. Reporters accompanying Jill Biden on a trip to California spotted the brown stuff on the red-carpeted hallway as they waited just inside the mansion to be escorted to the first lady’s motorcade. It was unclear which pooch—Major or Champ—dropped the poo. Earlier this week, Major, the younger dog, was involved in his second biting incident in March. The CEO of Georgia-based Delta Air Lines said Wednesday that the state’s new election law overhaul is “unacceptable” and “based on a lie,” after the company faced criticism that it didn’t speak out forcefully enough in opposition to the bill when it was being considered by the state’s Republican leaders. CEO Ed Bastian offered his assessment of the new Georgia law in a memo sent to employees less than a week after Delta officials joined other corporate lobbyists to shape the final version of a sweeping measure that could make it harder for some Georgia citizens to cast ballots.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is condemning the use of the term "surge" when discussing the ongoing border crisis at the southern border. "They wanna say, 'But what about the surge?'" Ocasio-Cortez said on Tuesday night during an Instagram Live session. "Well, first of all, just gut check, stop. Anyone who's using the term 'surge' around you consciously is trying to invoke a militaristic frame." "And that's a problem because this is not a surge, these are children and they are not insurgents and we are not being invaded, which by the way is a White supremacist idea-philosophy

Russian forces massing on the border with Ukraine have prompted the U.S. European Command to raise its watch level to its highest point of “potential imminent crisis”, according to a New York Times report Tuesday night. On Wednesday, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley spoke to senior Russian Gen. Valery Gerasimov about the buildup, according to Russia. Four Ukrainian soldiers were killed last week in an extended battle in the contested Donetsk Region against Russia-backed separatists. Russian forces that were thought to have gathered for training exercises near the border have stayed and grown in numbers, prompting concerns. Under Presidents

Not an April fool’s joke, but it might as well be. Two media reports [Here and Here] about former VP Mike Pence considering a potential run for President in 2024 present the most laughable political hypothetical in recent memory. Particularly, and specifically, because even President Trump would likely not include Pence in a short list of people for endorsement.“WASHINGTON (AP) — Former President Donald Trump recently rattled off the names of those he viewed as future leaders of the Republican Party, including Sens. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz along with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Conspicuously absent from the list: Mike Pence.

A new poll indicates that Americans are giving President Biden a big thumbs up on dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. But when it comes to the divisive issue of immigration and border security, the survey suggests that the president's approval rating plummets. Just a third of Americans questioned in an NPR/Marist poll released on Tuesday say they approve of Biden's handling of the issue of immigration, with 53% saying they disapprove of his performance. While two-thirds of Democrats say they approve of how Biden has handled the issue in the first two months of his presidency, approval plunges to 27% among independents and to just 5% among Republicans.

Can we tell a baby’s gender at birth? After untold millennia of human experience — and the emergence of “gender reveal party” industry to the contrary — CNN’s news section informs us that we should believe them rather than our own lying eyes. In a report on South Dakota governor Kristi Noem’s executive order barring transgendered biological males from competing in women’s sports, Devan Cole insists that telling “gender identity” is impossible at birth: Though the two executive orders signed by Noem do not explicitly mention transgender athletes, they reference the supposed harms of the participation of “males” in women’s athletics — an echo of the transphobic claim

Washington—The Pentagon on Wednesday swept away Trump-era policies that largely banned transgender people from serving in the military, issuing new rules that offer them wider access to medical care and assistance with gender transition. The new department regulations allow transgender people who meet military standards to enlist and serve openly in their self-identified gender, and they will be able to get medically necessary transition-related care authorized by law, chief Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters during a briefing.(Snip) The new rules also prohibit discrimination based on gender identity. Their release Wednesday coincides with International Transgender Day of Visibility,

Americans struggling to survive on federal benefits have waited weeks for word on their share of the $1.9 trillion stimulus. Some of the country’s most vulnerable citizens have been waiting weeks for the next round of promised financial aid from President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion “American Rescue Plan” coronavirus relief package, with no indication of when it would come. Chief among those are the millions of elderly Americans who depend on federal assistance to survive. As of March 24, nearly 30 million had yet to receive their portion, largely because the Social Security Administration had “not sent the necessary payment files” to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

A racist brandished a two-by-four and yelled anti-Asian insults at a man at a Brooklyn Home Depot last week amid a disturbing surge of anti-Asian hate crimes, authorities said. The 28-year-old victim and his girlfriend were shopping at the Home Depot on Gateway Drive in Starrett City about 7:40 p.m. Friday when a stranger holding a block of wood began menacing him, cop sources said.(Snip) He then threatened the victim directly, warning, “I’ll cut you, you [expletive] Asian. Don’t call anyone. I’m a Blood, I’ll shoot you,” sources said. The victim reported the incident

Censorship at its finest. If someone feels stressed or "offended" by something someone said, they will turn that service member into the chain of command. Discipline will be swift. Since the military is now a hyperpartisan organization--meaning it is an extension of the Democrat party--only viewpoints in favor of the regime will be tolerated. That's where this all goes. But Austin's PC military will inevitably suffer decreased morale and decreased discipline, so he will enforce "strict discipline" in order to compensate. The result? Our troops will soon be goose stepping.
