TR International, a global chemical distributor, is moving from its home of more than two decades in downtown Seattle, crossing the county line to neighboring Edmonds.
The company is one of at least 160 businesses that have left Seattle since last March.
While some of the companies that have left Seattle is due to the coronavirus pandemic, business leaders have said that much of it could be traced back to a sense that no one is minding the store in Seattle anymore, and a lack of accountability from city leaders.
TR International CEO Megan Gluth-Bohan said the decision to leave was easy. She cited ongoing violence, along with rampant homelessness and drug use.

When I was still working I was part of an outside vendor for Boeing. I went between Everette and Renton and one time stayed at a hotel in downtown Seattle. I walked around some, it was pretty quiet but the city streets and the hills they were on were clean. Atop one of the heights looking down towards Puget Sound it reminded me of SF bay without Alcatraz Island. This is a reminisce and it was in the 90's. The memory of the San Francisco bay was in the early sixties. Now I would rather spend time anywhere but there. Sad.

Open the door to mayhem, discard your police and bingo, bye bye business community. I am just surprised that more haven't already left town or state.

A couple of Seattle city council members are considering making burglary no longer a crime. Seriously. They say if you are a person in need you can enter someone's home, steal their stuff and sell it without being arrested. And then they wonder why sane people are fleeing the city.

Gee, who could have ever imagined that businesses would want to leave Seattle just because of super high crime, gangs of racist thugs destroying things and driving away customers, and a city government who clearly lost control months ago and can't/won't stop the evil and protect these honest businesses?!?!?!?
Well, anybody would have seen this coming that has more than 6 working brain cells. But that leaves out all lie-berals, since you can put 6 of them in a room and there won't be 6 working brain cells between them!!!!!

Seattle, an anti-capitalist Socialist 3rd World is now a No Go Zone and has no interest in participating in the American Dream. Get out of there and leave them to their misery!

Looks like NY City/Manhattan are anxious to follow in Seattle's footsteps. Night after Night BLM and ANTIFA Thugs don their Black outfits and go to work throwing Bricks and setting things on fire. Businesses are looted as soon as they clean up their store and re-stock. I'm surprised ANYONE would want to work or live in those Inner Cities! Anyone Care? Anyone who could change things in those cities? Nope!

If people started shooting back at BLM and Antifa, the movement would fold pretty fast. Let's just hope the Seattle politicians and media folks are there cheering BLM and Antifa on when the shooting starts and they are the "Collateral" damage

If this wanton destruction of a city had been enabled by a City Council From Hell in say, Cleveland or Detroit, it would still be a tragedy but America would not mourn the loss for long. Seattle was such a beautiful place and now looks like ground zero for a large meteor. It was all so unnecessary! All they had to do was stop the early rioters with deadly force and it would have ended right there. Blacks are going to shoot each other every day anyway but why is it so wrong when cops do it? Every incident in 2020 was because the black perp was in the act of committing a crime. If the mayors and cops continue to allow this then the citizens will be forced do their jobs for them.

Put insane leftists in charge and you get a literal open sewer, with lots of crime from the Soros people put in charge of the "justice system'.....which just abandons law enforcement.
The solution is simple. LEAVE.
